The platform was a big step in the right direction for our events program. Swoogo has provided all of the tools needed to organize and execute events, both big and small. I really enjoy how effectively you can create an awesome landing page in very little time, send out emails with ease, and the fantastic configurability. The platform is very easy to use, and implementation is a breeze. In addition, whenever I've had a question, the Swoogo team answers with friendly and fast service. I'd say that the configurability of Swoogo can be a bit daunting, at first. The tool has so many bells and whistles, that you need to be sure to take the training courses to ensure you're getting what you want out of the program. The best part of Swoogo is hands down the combination of an amazing team and an incredibly user-friendly platform. Having worked with multiple registration platforms in the past, Swoogo stands out as the easiest to use and the most visually appealing. The API is user friendly, modern, and easily integrates with all the other marketing technologies we use to produce world class events. What really sets them apart is their team—always ready to go the extra mile to ensure your event's success. Their support and dedication make all the difference! There are no downsides to Swoogo! The tool has all the needed features to produce in-person and virtual events. We started with Swoogo in 2016 and have renewed every year because it simply meets (and exceeds) our needs. We LIVE in Swoogo nearly every day and because it is so flexible we are able to push it to do things it was not designed for, like managing speakers (before the CFP module came out) and sponsors.
Swoogo offers the most flexibility and customization of any software we have tried when it comes to building registration sites. Because we have multiple clients, they always have different needs and want sites set up the way they prefer. This varies from layout, logic questions, demographics, colors, etc.
For new users, Swoogo is very simple to get started with. It is very inuitive especially for someone who has experience with any of the web-based registration systems. Customer support is very helpful as well.
Swoogo has a basic conference app which is a very reasonably priced add-on. I do wish they had an option for an app with more features (in app surveys, reporting, gamification, dynamic exhibit hall, etc.).
Badge creation provides a lot of customization options. There are a few things that could make it easier, but it really exceeds any other registration system we have used. It allows us to create very complicated badges with multiple tickets, QR codes, etc.
Future feature ideas: event management, room diagrams, specs preparation, dynamic exhibit hall layout and ability for exhibitors to see who is assigned in booths, split payments, more options in reporting, and training on creating custom themes, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Exhibitors complain about how time consuming it is to register their multiple booth staff. Would be nice to be able to simply enter them line by line without having to go through multiple pages.
If you don't have html skills you are somewhat limited in ability to make design changes. This has improved siginificantly a few years ago and you can hire an outside party to make the changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With over a decade of using various event management platforms, I’ve found only a few that can handle complex registration processes. Swoogo is one of those rare platforms, and I think it stands out as the most intuitive and user-friendly.
Swoogo's interface is impressively intuitive—you’ll find every function right where you expect it to be. It is refreshingly straightforward.
The responsiveness is another standout feature. Unlike other applications that can lag, I have not noticed any lagging with Swoogo. It feels like every click moves instantly, saving both time and frustration.
Swoogo’s customer service is superb, too. While I’ve been satisfied with support from other platforms, what is different with Swoogo is that you get a prompt response even when you reach out to them at 10 pm. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Swoogo's straightforward, number-of-user-based pricing model works well for us. There are no hidden costs or overages to worry about. Swoogo is a progressive platform that allows you to handle virtually any scope for an event. Does not matter how small or how big the event is. Time and time again we continue to leverage many different features in Swoogo. Even connecting to other platforms or events. Swoogo as a platform is very flexible and hightly customizable. Many integrations are available and out-of-box implementations are available. Available integrations continue to grow which is a plus. If you are willing to think outside of the box, the platform has been able to handle every thing that has been thrown it's way. Simple events, no problem. Complex events and criteria, no problem. Support is also great and willing to help you brainstorm through different ideas. Reporting on events is also made easy and giving access to less savy users is simple and straight forward without compromising security of sensitive information. One down side to Swoogo is finding external support for it if you do not have a in house expert or require custom designs. However, Swoogo has released certification classes that can help you improve your skills. Ultimately, you may need some web design/developer skills to fully unlock it's potential. There are too many reasons to love Swoogo!
- It has a great resource center to help self-teach.
- The support team is amazing and quick to respond should you run into any issues.
- It is robust and easy to navigate. The interace is user friendly.
- There are many ways to customize the platform and there is pretty much always a workaround or solve to any issue you may come across.
- It is easy to integrate with different softwares and services.

- The meeting scheduling feature.
- Sponsorship management tool and inability to specifically collect sponsorship revenue separate from ticket revenue.
- Inability to easily customize the layout/template of the website without HTML.
- Inability to copy over only select items from one event to another.
- Inability to allow group registrations (essentially linked registrations) but still have them show as individual registrants for search purposes.
- I'd love to see Swoogo to come up with a feature that would allow a single person to process and pay for all registrations, then assign to their team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We just started using Swoogo for our event management needs in the last few months and it has been a game-changer for our team! One of the standout features is the ease of use of the platform. We have had to rely on a few third-party vendors for things like a more robust event app, exhibitor management, and sponsor management. It would be great if these solutions could be incorporated directly into the platform to save us from the hassle of learning several different tools. That said, our account team has helped us source these partners, and Swoogo integrates well with the external solutions, making the overall experience smoother than it would be otherwise. My team has been using Swoogo since 2020. After working with and viewing countless other platforms, Swoogo stood out from the rest for their nimbleness, innovation, customer service, and most importantly, the platforms abillity to address the complicated needs for our clients. From virtual, hybrid and in-person events - Swoogo is our go-to platform. We have used Swoogo for pre-taped, live and mixed media events. The only downside our team has experienced is in catching up on all the latest and greatest offerings by Swoogo. Their design/technology is constantly responding to the growing needs for virtual/remote events and we continue to learn how to best utilize all they offer. As someone who is entirely new to event management, Swoogo has been a lifesaver! It is incredibly easy to use, and there are so many functions that help make my daily tasks more effective and efficient. From user friendly website building, to badge printing in Swoogo, it's great to have so many resources available all in one space.
We are also incredibly grateful to Karin's support of our events team, and for all of her helpful insights. It is so comforting to know the great people behind the scenes, and to know that they're available to support our team.

My only complaint so far is that their interface updated the day before my first major event - having to adjust my rhythm and re-learn where everything was was slightly stressful at that time! After using Swoogo for 6.5 years, I have come to value this platform as one of the key aspects in the success of our events. I create registration sites for 30-40 events annually and spend most of my day in the Swoogo platform. The platform is exceptionally intuitive for event the most basic user. I love that anyone can use it, but you can truly make the pages your own. The cutom reporting, the various website templates, and the ability to add many external features make Swoogo a fantastic platform. My favorite thing about Swoogo is the individualized support that they provide to customers. I have never waited long for an answer and even when we had a complex situation arise, the Swoogo team kept us updated and outlined exactly what occurred so we could eliminate any future issues. The Swoogo team truly takes feedback of their customers into account and is constantly rolling out new features that users suggest.
