The ability to split payments and keep informed of progress on outstanding balances. Setting reminders that electronicly send me and my customers automatically so I don't have to be the bad guy. The year over year comparisons by category by month by day even by time of day is extremely important for a business to be able to analyze scheduleing combined with processing payroll and time clock all from one software processor is second to no one. I have been approached by many credit card processors. Most Do not have the functionality that I get with square. Even with the cost per transaction reduction it's just not enough to move me when I consider my time to preform the transaction myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Square Invoices are so easy and can be done via computer or phone/tablet. The Square app is absolutely perfect for on the go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are a couple of bugs, but overall the invoices are consistent in the way they look, send, and are received by customers. There haven't been any technical hiccups in processing, which I'm very grateful for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Once you enter a custom field, it is apparently there for life (even hitting "remove" doesn't seem to do any good). Also, the same functionality is available in the basic Square dashboard app, so I'm not precisely sure yet why the invoices plus is worth paying an additional $20 per month. I like that I am able to input all my customer information for future orders. Helps me organize all my invoices in one place and keep better track of them. I use to use Excel spreadsheets. I like how I can add and save my items as well. I like the visual of how they are organized in Square. Let's you see what's paid and what's pending. Very convenient and easy. I only had one issue so far and that is I started an invoice but saved it as a draft and didn't find it right away. Had to do some clicking around. I think some aspects of the dashboard can be a little be more streamlined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Send detailed estimates, turn them into invoices amd set up payment plans if applicable. Additionally it allows for different tenders payments i.e. cash, checks, venmo, cash app..
Another great feature is the contract availability. I am able to send contracts within the invoice/estimates. The software saves all of my clients info, allows me to go back and see previous work done for each client, and the option to make changes to the invoices/estimates real time as well as refunds if necessary. All of my sales info can be broken down by timeframe, tender, client etc..my accountant is also able to access all the info to keep my books up to date. Lastly the software has the option to have employees clock in and out as well as put in the location they are working. I like being able to set recurring billing and it's easy to edit recurring series as well as end them. It's easy to update customer's credit card information AND they can also do it themselves. I also appreciate receiving funds the very next day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't usually issue plain old invoices - 99% of what we do is billed in advance so our invoices are simply recurring/auto-billed invoices where the customer is auto-charged with their card on file and they receive a confirmation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using Square Invoices for about 3 months now and I absolutely recommend it. My customers receive invoices online and can pay them with a credit card; I’m able to add my products on it and also keep track of inventory. I has been a great experience so far.
