**What do you like best about Sprig?**

Sprig is very intuitive to navigate and easy to use. They provide many helpful templates, but you can also create a study from scratch to meet your specific needs. The AI theme detection and translation featues also help our team to boost the velocity of our research. I appreciate that Sprig seems to always be improving and adding new features to make it even more valuable!

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

It would be great if Sprig could support more advanced question logic (e.g. display logic and piping), ability to implement quotas for certain user characteristics / attributes within a survey, and ability to better customize look and feel and certain configuration elements (e.g. dismissing on page change) at the individual survey level in addition to the global level.

**What problems is Sprig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sprig enables us to get quick insights from real users at high velocity. We can capture user feedback based on specific behaviors that the user is performing in the moment, and we can easily launch surveys and get insights within a day or two. This helps us to give product stakeholders more actionable insights in a shorter amount of time.

**What do you like best about Sprig?**

Sprig is simple, easy to get started. We were able to quickly launch surveys that empowered our product planning. Beyond a fantastic product, the customer service, from sales to onboarding, is a role model for how customers should be treated.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

It's hard to think of any issues, the product simply works.

**What problems is Sprig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Historically we weren't able to gain many in the moment insights from customers, especially uncovering pain points. Sprig makes that simple and fast, and I can fine tune my collection for user research. I also think this product supports product managers that are generalists and might not have much experience with survey design, the built in templates and recommendations are incredible.

**What do you like best about Sprig?**

Drafting surveys is easy, great preview functionality, and excellent reporting tools to speed analysis. Launching an in-product survey can take just a few minutes. Results readout is visually appealing and easy to share to keep stakeholders in the loop. Comprehensive help documentation comes in handy for learning how to use the tool. Importantly, there are built-in recontact controls to prevent over-contacting users.

Great working relationship with the Sprig team as well :)

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

Depending on how responsive your user base is to in-product surveys, you will get varying value from Sprig based on their pricing structure (charged by "seen", not "responded"). Prototype testing is currently lacking necessary features  (hopefully more on the way!). Sprig AI sometimes hallucinates, but the great results filtering options can help check those results manually for closed-ended questions.

**What problems is Sprig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sprig takes an important step by intelligently gating how often individual users see surveys to prevent fatigue. Once the triggers are in place, launching a survey for those triggers is very easy. This means less emailing users for feedback. You can even manually upload groups of users to contact them via in-product surveys, allowing for very targeted outreach without needing to email or text. Sprig also recently created the Editor Lite user mode, which allows team members to create surveys, but not launch. The beta activity feed and notifications plus editor lite allow for oversight on who is launching surveys to users, without hindering too much of the process itself.

**What do you like best about Sprig?**

What I love about Sprig is that it allows us to "Quantify the Qualitative," by quickly reinforcing Qual insights with many more users in the right context. It's been a critical tool in helping teams get more efficient with what and who we prioritize building and iterating for. And, it's really easy to use. Sprig takes minimal effort to onboard into and comes in handy when we lack researcher bandwidth and PMs need to self-start surveys to unblock learning. Sprig's easy integration into other data structures sets us up to triangulate data with business metrics and behavioral data, reinforcing the POV of the research team.

Plus, year over year the team at Sprig has taken our feedback to heart, working tirelessly to improve the product to suit our evolving needs.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

Once Sprig's fully integrated into your ecosystem it's really easy for people, of any discipline, to hit the ground running and launch a survey to get rapid insights. But, Sprig vastly oversells their "no code" eventing, leading teams to believe that integration stops at "getting it set up." In reality, in every context in which I've used Sprig (both in my current and former company) I have needed to rely on coded events to ensure I'm reaching the right audience. That's OK! I want my participants to be in the right contexts. But, when the company pushes the "no code" perspective forward so heavily it leads teams to under estimate the development effort (read: which events and attributes are going to need to be built for a strong foundation) actually needed to make Sprig a powerhouse tool.

**What problems is Sprig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Sprig helps reinforce and scale our qualitative observations, and with the ability to triangulate insights with our business and product metrics it's really increasing Organizational confidence in research learnings.
- Sprig helps cover for researchers when there isn't enough bandwidth to do more indepth studies, unblocking product teams and preventing bottlenecks.
- Sprig is playing a critical role in capturing a wealth of feedback around a beta launch, ensuring we'll be ready for a successful public launch.

**What do you like best about Sprig?**

Adding a trigger and filter for who will see the survey is dead easy - I can do everything I want to be able to do when designing and deploying a survey. The engineering effort is also much lower than our previous method (I've been told), which is great news. Literally 3 weeks to build a custom survey with our old system, vs 1 engineer day with Sprig.

The real game-changer with Sprig is just how much easier it is to get feedback. It's not like an email campaign where you send it out to 10,000 people and you better hope the survey is perfect. Instead, you can show the survey to 300 in the first week, iterate on the questions and then expand it out to 700 the next week. It's just a much more helpful interface - it really fits better with modern product and design practice, which helps Researchers provide rich, useful data in a timely manner.

It's also obviously possible to ask highly contextual questions - that are SO HARD to ask about with any other type of survey. The fact that the questions live right in your product, and can be triggered by specific behaviour is incredibly valuable!

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

The interface is a bit confusing - I wish I didn't have to click "Edit" to see the survey, and that instead it was just a tab next to "Summary" and "Responses" - it feels strange to go into an entirely separate view to see the questions / audience. This is pretty nitpicky, though, and I'm sure the team is evolving the interface to find the best way to present info!

I also wish it would let me do a bit more with the data - like I can see the response rate, but seeing how many people are "seeing" the survey is also helpful to know how many people even meet the criteria  - it's a little view into feature usage, but that info gets lost in the current data visualization functionality.

**What problems is Sprig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making it easier to show a survey to a specific population based on a specific trigger to talk to the users we need to hear from! This is fundamental to good software design, so it's great that the tool exists to enable it.

**What do you like best about Sprig?**

I used Sprig to run in-product surveys, and to collect respondents' email addresses for future qualitative conversations. Sprig was relatively fast and easy for our developers to implement, and we received excellent support from the Sprig team as questions arose, especially about workarounds.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

This is not a Sprig problem, more an "us" problem -- we haven't figured out regular usage of Sprig. We use it as project-specific needs arise, but not longitudinally.

**What problems is Sprig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're trying to figure out how users are working with a specific feature, and Sprig helped us with the quantitative side and with recruiting for the qualitative side. Our product and engineering teams are taking action the results right now.

I don't really have any dislikes but I would love improvements in integrations such as User Interviews and would love to see MTUs not counting towards tests that have been completed (should be automatic)

Sprig helps us get to our customers more quickly which hasn't always been the easiest thing for us to do. This allows us to get feedback quickly which lends to us understanding and iterating earlier than we would have without it.

The UI is intuitive, the data is visualized in an extremely visually pleasant and easy to comprehend way, and the insights I've been able to share to various teams because of Sprig have been actionable and interesting.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

Some features are being rolled out a little slow (like mobile prototype testing) but will surely be worth the wait.

Sprig helps us solve what may have previously been an impossible question: Learning user sentiments regarding various product features in the moment rather than weeks or months later in a paid research environment that can yield skewed, biased data. 

This is immensely benefical to help guide product roadmaps, design direction, and brand awareness.

While it's extremely useful for the off the shelf launch of a study, as a researcher, I would love more control over the variables of a study (target number of respondents, % exposure, number of respondents/day, etc. )and combine them freely on a as needed basis.

Gaining insights into user experience and satisfaction on our platform informs our product decisions and allows us to drive product development.

**What do you like best about Sprig?**

The ability to get in-context feedback from real users, without the need to build a solution on our own. This is especially helpful when your users/customers are a small/niche group in the market that may be hard to reach otherwise. It is also highly valuable in terms of feedback validity and quality. In addition to in-product survey, they have also been adding more useful tools like unmoderated usability testing, AI analysis, session replays. 

It is also relatively easy to set up given the many options they support. Being able to support web & mobile apps is also crucial. 

The customer success team has also been fantanstic, and the company as a whole showed great care for their customers.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

Their built-in analysis/dashboarding features are somewhat lacking and there were some quirkiness in their web UI.

**What problems is Sprig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understanding user needs, goals, characteristics and experience on our platform. Measure UX goals. Combine with behavioral data to enrich insights. This helps us identify problems & opportunities, and create better designs/products.

Not major but Rudderstack - Sprig connection could be smoother.

- Very straightforward UI to underestand survey results, even for our non-survey savvy team members
- Supportive customer success team who are always responsive for our questions

The response rate is not very high, but it may due to out limitation for our population and running multiple surveys. Would love to get more help about survey best practices from Sprig-maybe based on your observations of the industry best practices

Incredibly flexible and easy to use tool. The no code events are amazing and allow for hyper targeted survey sends. Lots of new products being shipped all the time.

New replays function is neat but could use additional features that make analysis easier.

Sprig let's us more easily survey users and do so at the right time (when they make specific actions). In product surveys are also much faster and efficient than email.

**What do you like best about Sprig?**

Sprig is like having another member on my team. The ability to run unmoderated surveys and connect with our users in our app on their time frees me up to focus on other parts of my job.

Sprig's customization feature makes surveys and concept tests feel like a part of our product, and our users tell us they appreciate it as a piece of their overall experience. When they see a study addressing their specific pain points, it lets them know we will have a solution for them soon. 

Additionally, the Sprig team uses their tool, and they have done an excellent job rapidly improving their product experience in response to feedback.

Sometimes their pricing gets a bit confusing. I feel a little anxious every time I publish a survey with Sprig. If you exceed your limit, you may automatically be upgraded for the remainder of your contract.

They've at least made it a bit more clear, but I still double-check every time before I click the launch button.

The UX for adding logic between questions could be a bit better. I believe they're currently making improvements to this. Not such a huge deal, though!

Sprig is a relatively simple multi-purpose survey tool for cross-functional tech teams. I enjoy the high-touch support team because they are responsive to feedback and constantly evolve the product suite. Their AI-support analysis of qualitative data is superb.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

The team is actively working on the areas I'll identify for improvement, so I'm not concerned moving into long-term use of Sprig. The most significant gap is customizable views of charts so you can control data visualization more precisely or filter results by user/customer segment. There are some limitations to complex question design, but in some ways, that can be outside its use-case.

Surveys enable quantitative and qualitative exploration or evaluation across a large sample of users. Adding a tool like Sprig to our suite has made in-context research much better.

The integration with your analytics helps you understand how long it will take to get to statistical significance and the team at Sprig is super helpful (specifically Matthew and Safia) and help onboard/train/strategize and really ensure success.

I would like the reporting and insights space to be a little more built out. The insights space is limited to a CSV download where you can easily see all the data and information relative to your study, but I would like to define custom calculations which you can't do today.

**What do you like best about Sprig?**

Sprig is a really effective tool for rapidly getting feedback on targeted questions. It is a great force multiplier for user research teams, which reduces the time required to get user feedback - both reducing the effort to deploy a survey, and reducing the time from deployment to getting statistically significant feedback. Once it's set up, it's very easy to deploy new surveys, and Sprig is ridiculously quick in responding to questions and very active in helping troubleshoot issues. Sprig customer success actively takes the lead in working with engineering to identify and resolve implementation issues.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

Honestly, I don't have any complaints about Sprig itself. The only problems I have encountered were due to the complexity of deploying it on our backend. We had multiple backend systems that didn't talk to each other, so sometimes, if I wanted to deploy Sprig on a new surface, it would take some engineering effort to deploy it. But, as I mentioned, Sprig's customer success team was very responsive in taking the lead to identify and resolve any barriers. Another problem was that because Sprig was so useful, more teams than we initially expected wanted to use it, leading us to have to increase our bandwidth and put limitations on what contexts it could be used. This led us to upgrade our subscription to satisfy the increased demand.

**What problems is Sprig solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sprig is great for getting a rapid sense of the user experience for specific product surfaces, recruiting specific groups of users for interviews, and for ongoing monitoring of important user engagement metrics, such as CSAT. It's also great for democratizing research, so that product teams can answer commonly occurring questions without having to go through a more involved research process. Once you create workflows to ensure that everyone is deploying quality surveys, it is very easy to have stakeholders, such as PMs and designers, who are less capable at research to do it on their own.

I also really like their Zapier integration, setting up real-time Slack notifications of when a feedback is submitted.

Not a dislike, rather an opportunity. As a small startup, seeing a tier focused on folks our sizes would be greatly appreciated.

Before using Sprig we weren't doing very much research. We didn't have time for it and weren't very good at asking questions that wouldn't bias the customer. Sprig has made it very easy to get insights from our customers without needing to schedule Zoom calls. I like the templates and the AI analysis. We're using both concept testing and surveys.

I would love more features to help me conduct even more types of research. Sprig has become my go-to tool, and I would love to use it for more of my day-to-day job.

I like the usability test builder the most. I appreciated the template examples of how to guide users through the test. Adding Figma prototypes is a standout feature.

Moving questions up and down within a usability test can be a bit clunky. Figuring out a way to make sure questions are mapped together to prevent the flow of questions from breaking would be helpful. Or maybe a warning to check where questions lead.

I love that I can quickly launch surveys in-app to easily collect user insights and feedback at scale. The UI is straightforward and visually appealing, and Sprig makes it easier for teammates in non-research roles to collect user feedback. I also really like the addition of an other specify. The team is very available to support as needed.

**What do you dislike about Sprig?**

Skip and display logic is not always strong enough to meet my needs. You can skip to a later question based on responses to the current question, but the options are somewhat limited for multi-select questons. I would also like the ability to display a question based on users' responses to a question that appears earlier in the survey (not the question immediately prior).

Sprig helps us conduct evaluative research quickly and at scale. It helps deliver quick insights where a longer, paid survey would be overkill. It is also easy to share reports with teammates.
