Simple to use on any device including my laptop, iPad or iPhone and a an excellent web based solution with pricing based on a SaaS annual billing basis per user and by module, if required.
All my separate Excel worksheets brought together on a single common CRM database, also rolled it out to a number of clients who also get all the same benefits of the Really Simple System CRM application Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As with all software applications there are some things that are not perfect such as the new beta data import capabilities, but the support is excellent helping me from data import, accidental deletion of one of marketing campaigns, so any identified problems are quickly dealt with or new functionality goes into the product road-map. Homepage widgets easy to create and move around. Sales funnel easy to keep on top of. I loved the outstanding tasks and overdue tasks function and could really keep on top of these. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Only gripe I had was a bug I spotted which I couldn't replicate which was putting the wrong notes into the wrong accounts but sadly I never reply to them as didn't take any screenshots to send to their support team. This bug only appeared after recent update in 2021.

I like the ability to add a substantial amount of information to each record. Everything from contact information to notes. The tasks help keep me on track and assigning responsible parties help a lot with my organization. Additionally, I appreciate the ease of searching the database for a past record. I wish there was an option to have a "history" or other way of tracking specific transactions. Not just tasks or activates, but things that I mark as being of particular importance so I don't have to search through a long list to find the information that I need. We have adapted the CRM system to meet our team's needs, the RSS support team has been brilliant in helping us with this. We always get a friendly and timely response.
The facility to track an opportunity, link it to a campaign and progress it to a sale has been invaluable as a sales tool. This has enabled us to evaluate our campaigns and work on improving them.
The reporting enables management to have visibility of the hard work the sales team are putting in. We can establish our best sales methods, for example outgoing calls versus email success rate to ensure we are using the sales teams time to the most benefit to the company.
We have also used the the win/loss reports to enable us to develop products to met market needs. Identifying why we have lost an opportunity has helped us identify and prioritise any product development required. It has also helped us review our pricing strategy. We have struggled with the marketing module and found the new release not as flexible as the original. As we have an existing branding style we did struggle to transition to the RSS marketing tool, with RSS support's help we managed it with HTML. However the new release of the marketing module has removed the functionality we were using. We are working through the issues we have, however more warning on the fundamental changes to our marketing emails would have been appreciated. We offered to be part of the testing during the development of the module, but this didn't come to fruition, in hindsight it would have been really help for us if we could have had some insight in to what was being developed.
As a manager using the reporting tool, the data is only as good as what the team enter. We have had teething problems in ensuring all the team are reporting opportunities correctly. We have developed our own 'CRM Bible' as a training tool. For future development, it would be great if we could add our own specific IAG on screen, to be managed by the adminstrator. This would help ensure all users are inputting the correct data.
On the reporting tool, it is sometimes frustrating that you have to download the report in order to manipulate the data, it would be useful if the onscreen report results could be simply ordered by columns or filtered (rather than fiddling with the report set up each time, or downloading to excel). I like the fact that it is easy to use and understand. Life is complicated enough without tools that think they have to be smarter than you are and tie you up in knots! The system is really easy to navigate and tailor to our specific requirements. The support is always excellent and staff are always ready to help out and advise where they can. The customisable options have enabled us to tailor the system completely to our needs and the reporting function is great too.
