I can now share my inbox with my assistant without sharing the login details! My assistant manages my inbox and assigns me emails with the needed call to action so I can hit the ground running. By sharing my personal email inbox I lose essential features on that inbox, though, such as snooze, reminders, which is a drag.
Apart from that, sharing our non-support inboxes with the administration and operations teams works quite well, apart from the occasional bug throwing a wrench in our otherwise well running operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Often buggy, and features over time change their functionality with no prior warning or explanation. Becomes a pain when you, as the manager, need to figure out these changes and explain it to the team instead of doing more important things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Spark allows my team to collaborate about external communications and emails with the power of internal tools like Slack, while staying in-context of the emails itself. We can share important emails with each other, talk about them in a secure way right along side the email itself, collaborate on drafting responses, and even manage the process through assignments.
Shared inboxes has provided easy-to-use visibility into marketing and website-related emails without having to shift into yet another tool, accelerating our responsiveness to inbound communications.
Spark has also lead the way with AI-assistance. The features Apple demo'd at WWDC 2024 around summarizing emails and helping with writing are already in Spark TODAY. The thread summaries are truly helpful, providing an easy way to catch up on a long thread you may have been looped into.
As an email client, Spark remains top-notch in terms of capabilities with great native gmail label support, snooze, useful grouping, and now the ability to filter for unknown senders and protect my inbox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As of this writing, Spark Desktop 3 on the Mac is fully-featured and works well in general. But, I really do miss the native app "feel" of Spark 2. Moving to an "electron"-like app has clearly enabled the team to release on Windows and maintain feature-parity. But the result is an app that just a little bit less polished feeling on the Mac in terms of smooth animations and predictable/reliable interface responsiveness. It's 98% great. But every so often you run into that 2% situation where there's a little bit of lag, or you need to quit and restart the app. Resizing and scrolling are ever-so-slightly less silky smooth. For comparison, the iOS and iPadOS versions, which rely on native interface elements, feel more "solid" and smooth.
One functionality area where this non-native desktop experience diverges from the native iOS interface is how the app interacts with the built-in Contacts app. On iOS, you can easily add a contact into your Contacts from Spark if you've gotten an email from someone you don't have a vCard for. On macOS, there's no such "add contact" interface.
If there's a way to merge the iOS and macOS codebases to restore native performance, that would be amazing.
All this said, this is a minor quibble. The app and teams service is spectacular and provides a set of features I don't think exist anywhere else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Spark Mail has completely transformed how I manage my emails and collaborate with my team. The snoozing feature is key, allowing me to defer emails and focus on what’s important without losing track of tasks. With Spark, achieving a zero inbox is possible and incredibly easy, helping me maintain a clutter-free workspace.
The shared mailbox functionality is a standout feature, enabling seamless collaboration within my team. We can assign emails to specific team members, ensuring that every message is handled by the right person promptly. This has significantly improved our efficiency and productivity.
Another brilliant feature is commenting on emails directly within the app. This eliminates the need for external communication tools and keeps all discussions contextually tied to the relevant emails. This has streamlined our workflow and enhanced our team’s coordination.
Moreover, Spark’s customer service is exceptional. They always respond quickly and resolve issues, ensuring our experience remains smooth and trouble-free.
Overall, Spark Mail is an indispensable tool for our team. It has made us super efficient and productive, and I can’t imagine managing our email communications without it. Highly recommended! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing about spark for Teams that I do not like! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Spark has become an essential tool for us as a creative agency, enabling us to seamlessly discuss emails without leaving the inbox, share emails without forwarding, assign emails to other team members, and use team templates to save hours of time writing responses. I honestly don't know how we'd do business without it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The things I used to dislike about Spark have all been improved over the past few years. It's been great to see hwo dedicated the Spark team are to strengthening existing functionality and introducing new features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Spark for Teams let's me quickl loop my team members that are not included on an email without adding them to the distribution list. I like that I can assign emails for others to follow up on or have a side-chat via the comments feature to discuss how to reply to a customer. All in all it's a brilliant way to collaborate on emails with my team! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like a way to group emails by the assignee when delegating them. That would make it easy for me to review open emails I have asked a particular team member to work on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- conversations within an email thread as a chat, which declutter the communication and makes each subject held in its perfect place. (Now we don't need many WhatsApp/Calls) about x or y email.
- assign an email with deadlines.
- create public links to the the emails and their threads which can be shared easily. We use it a lot for reports.
- share an specific email with someone, instead of forwarding it. In volume it declutters a lot!
- the best customer support of any service provider I use in my company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- some features, that in my mind seem easy to implant, does take more time than usual to be released. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Collaboration, Ease of reaching inbox zero, snooze function is most valuable Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Slight discrepancy between the functions available in the desktop version and the mobile app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Initially I loved the easy onboarding, implementing the IMAP with my google business account adn have it up and running within minutes.
Now the number of features is certainly overwelming so you need to start with working how you used to and slowly adopt the shortcuts, email templates, the smart inbox view etc. It's a very sophisticated tool, though easy to use don't expect to be using all the features from day 1.
One of my favorite features as a meeting space owner in how seamless google calendar is intergrated into the application. It feels like native!
I am using it every day for the past 4 months and replaced my previous collaborative inbox (MissiveApp) almost immediately.
There were no issues at all although the customer service proactively reached out and we had a talk about my onboarding and use cases. That was highly appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can't find any downsides so far. Even the free version offers amazing capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Once I discovered Spark, I realized this is a tool I never want to leave!
It has a great user experience, and it allows you to easily communicate with the teams, assign emails, delegate the email sending to someone else in your team, and implement a nice coded email signature.
I highly recommend it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
