Threats are identified and resolved immediately even before we know it happens. The MDR basically has no maintanance and is very easy to use. Impmentation was simple and the reps at Sophos were very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Really not many downsides, but if I had to choose one it would be the product is quite expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sophos is a UK product with intense experience in end point security and with their managed service including 1 million dollar assurance is a key attraction. Unlimited incidense response is another attraction compared to other products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sophos checks a lot of boxes for us. Due to our compliance and security needs we are able to meet many of our objectives. They include:
1. anti-virus/anti-malware
2. HD encryption
3. web filtering
4. user groups and device policy management
5. Reporting and third party integrations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest concern I have had with Sophos is their ability to provide the best protection against all threats. Since WannaCry I am not aware of any major threat Sophos has missed. However, there is always that concern. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Probably the cost, which, even though not tremendously expensive for the service provided, is a cost that must be managed, but believe me, it’s amortized from day one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We don't need to staff our own SOC. This saves us time and money.
We have a level of insurance in the event of an incident.
We have ease of mind knowing that our network is being watched 24x7.
We get monthly reports on the health of our endpoints.
Implementation was simple. We didn't even have to do anything.

I like the cadence of regular check in meetings to ensure the platform is tuned for maximum value and minimal attack surface for malware and cyber attacks. These sessions keep us up to date on new features and enhancements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As an existing Sophos endpoint protection customer, no other MDR has the telemetry that Sophos can. They had more integrations applicable to us than any competitor we reviewed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At the time of implementation, our compute stack was 6 years old and their NDR appliance has a CPU functional requirement that was native to every processor out in the last 4-5 years. We had to get a new ESXi host to run this appliance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
