## Huntress Managed EDR Reviews
 ### 1. My Time Using Huntress

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob S. | Integration & Support Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress EDR has the best ease of use, ease of implementation and ease of integration. My only time i had to reach out to customer support was for a issue regarding a memory buy, where RIO was eating up more RAM than it should. Support wait time was 5 minutes and the issue was resolved in less than 2. They also gave me more information bout the issue and when it would be fixed. Once huntress is in use the Frequency of going to their webpage is minor only for some new installation and removing some old users. Recently Huntress has saved many clients from bad actors trying to gain access to people's computers.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress was a little slow on getting MAC compatibility working, they were upfront about it and had a realistic time table but it still took a bit. Their SAT portal has broken a few times and were a bit slow to resolve the issue.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its helping us detect any vulnerabilities on our clients computers from documents with password in the name, to unwanted programs and/or malicious programs. It has saved us time for a compromised computer no longer needing a rebuild in some situations.

 ### 2. A quality EDR that removes our stress

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam K. | Project Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress Managed EDR is great. We know that the team that are monitoring our systems know what they are doing. It's simple to setup and maintain and works great with out PSA and Ticketing system. The monthly reporting is great to show customers the value. We get regular alerts and it's easy to review and remediate any issues.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Trust has been eroded in Huntress as they didn't detect a breach via ITDR. Not directly related to EDR but it seems it's growth is possibly making it struggle with keeping up the service.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a smaller MSP it's great to have a team monitoring our clients endpoints and alerting to any issues. We use a different 3rd party AV solution but it's great to have another team checking it's work and verifying the endpoints are secure.

 ### 3. Advanced Threat Detection Made Simple

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** raul alberto G. | IT administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I really like that Huntress Managed EDR is capable of identifying all threats that we've resolved so far. They've always been there for us 100%, and we've never had a situation where it didn't respond accordingly. It's really good and helpful because we don't have the expertise of a SOC analyst or specialize in security, so having these capabilities automated helps us protect valuable data. The setup was pretty straightforward, actually quite easy, and I've never seen a platform so advanced and so easy at the same time.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Probably more segregation when it comes to other types of changes within the system. Reporting was one of the strongest points they are working on. I know they are working on it, so I know that something has been done already for that.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR to monitor equipment, identify very common threats in real-time, and protect valuable data, even without security expertise, thanks to their automated features.

 ### 4. Huntress is World Class

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake L. | Cybersecurity Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress takes care of all of the toughest cybersecurity tasks for organizations that need it. Our company is too small to staff a 24/7 response team, but Huntress responds around the clock and reports to us on every response. It was very easy to get started, easy to integrate with items, and the number of features it does is incredibly helpful.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The format of incident reports may be hard to read for non-techy people, but its not a problem for us.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress provides 24/7 managed response to endpoints and cloud services. We have also opted to use it as our main SIEM to audit events for clients. The Huntress team are also very helpful and quick to respond for help or to have a conversation about how to do something. Thank you guys!

 ### 5. Effortless Security Management with Huntress Managed EDR

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jerry R. | Director of Technical Operation, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I love the Dashboard and Agent Status features, which let me quickly identify incidents, signals investigated, and agents. The detailed step-by-step remediation suggestions are very helpful and save a lot of time for security admins. I also prefer Huntress Managed EDR from an ease of use and management perspective compared to our previous solution, Carbon Black. The setup was extremely easy, and the SIEM is great too.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The User Management area of the admin console needs more granularity to assign or not assign specific permissions to sub-teams in our org, such as for Helpdesk. Managing Incident Notifications by team member is not possible; it requires removing the person then adding them back, which was an issue when a team member needed to update their phone on the backend.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR for monitoring and securing workstations. It remediates and isolates security incidents effectively. The dashboards and remediation suggestions save time for security admins.

 ### 6. Huntress promised 24/7 threat defense and delivered... a year later

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William E. | CIO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress has expanded their offering to cover Defender, MS365, and Security Awareness. So far I've used all their modules and have been impressed each.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Unfortunately their management for AV UI could be improved. And removing existing antivirus or enabling a windows defender thats been disabled is still a very manual process. But overall this doesnt affect my everyday protection so I can overlook it and use other tools in my RMM stack for these things.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress is able to monitor and defend thousands of endpoints, 24 hours a day. Even with a dedicated SOC team, this type of monitoring can be impossible. While all modern security tools provide round the clock monitoring, the remediation actions, end point isolation and well written human understandle alerting is great. Most alerts can also be fully remediated after a member of my team signs off on the suggested next steps. Makes even my youngest engineers look like security experts.

 ### 7. No brainer, huntress is the standard by which all our other vendors are compared.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian C. | VP & Information Security Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Support is still great, they seem to be branching out into more products like SEIM or ITDR but they are expensive and/or show little value-add in their current forms.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

You are starting to see signs of the massive growth they have had, event responses and support are a little slower. Now you have an isolation event but it can be 15 to 30 minutes later till you get any actual details. Its nice they are still isolating first but it leaves you hanging with nothing to tell the customer except "its being investigated, whatever it is."

**Recommendations to others considering Huntress Managed EDR:**

Just do it, very few products are such a great value.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress is our security eyes and ears in our clients' network, 24/7 they are looking for signs of compromise and reporting or even taking action if needed to keep my clients safe. Even when I'm asleep I know if something comes up not only will it be detected, but if action is needed to protect the rest of the network Huntresses team will Isolate the device for me until my team can get to it.

 ### 8. Great deployment experience and easy to use response system

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas B S. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The reports & summary pages are helpful in identifying trouble areas (machines out of compliance with updates, etc...). We tested the system by planting infected files on different systems and running unapproved scripts & it's been able to identify & silo the effect PCs before anything could have been compromised.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Some of the value fields for individual PCs are buried pretty deep in the user interface. It can be cumbersome to dig through & find things.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We previously lacked a central dashboard or notification system to alert us to security incidents. We had stand-alone anti-virus solutions installed on our clients and we'd have to check system logs or software alerts on each PC to see when there were breaches or incidents.
Huntress gives us a great dashboard with at-a-glance information letting us know when there are issues. The ability to setup alerts via TXT and phone calls is also a huge plus as we get incident alerts much quicker & it allows us to respond faster to issues.

 ### 9. Robust EDR with Excellent Automated Remediation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elstan C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR to ensure that our clients are safeguarded from external threats that can't always be manually monitored, as it offers 24/7 SOC protection. I appreciate the professional reports and the automated remediation they provide. I like the ability to whitelist certain network connections while the devices are quarantined so that we can allow traffic that needs to communicate with the device, enabling us to continue troubleshooting in a safe manner. The initial setup was probably the easiest to implement out of all solutions.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Sometimes remediations on Unix devices, like cron jobs on Mac devices, need to be done manually. Automated remediations can't handle these, which makes it tough when a device is quarantined and needs remote remediation, as it complicates safe connection to the device.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR to safeguard clients with 24/7 SOC protection, covering time constraints of other analysts. I like the professional reports and automated remediation it provides.

 ### 10. Expert-led security with clear, tailored remediation steps

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frank B. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

What I like most about Huntress is having a team of security experts who analyze the issue and then reach out to me with a tailored assessment and clear remediation steps. The cherry on top is that I can either handle the steps myself or allow Huntress to take care of them.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

There are a few minor issues, but they don’t detract from the overall product. Renaming computers isn’t an option, so they have to be named correctly on the computer itself. In a few places, dates appear either in UTC or DD-MM format, which can be a little confusing in the US.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress tackles a common frustration with traditional security software: you get alerts, but you still don’t really understand what’s actually happening. It does a solid job of adding context by explaining what’s going on, pointing out which files and settings are impacted, and outlining the steps you need to take to clean up the issue properly. And they can remedy the issues for you which saves time and gives a sense of comfort knowing that an expert has cleaned the system.

 ### 11. Efficient EDR with Stellar Automation and Easy Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julius C. | Systems, Solutions and Sales Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I really like the NOC capability of Huntress Managed EDR. It automatically starts remediating our issues before we even get notified about them, which is incredibly helpful. The initial setup was very simple; after creating my organizations, I used the script provided, added it to my Ninja RMM, deployed the agents, and they started populating into the correct locations effortlessly.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Well, some of the things that I wish we could do is deactivate without having to call you guys. When we're working with third party vendors, that say, hey. You need to deactivate your antivirus and your EDR. Before we can do anything to troubleshoot their problems. Some other stuff that I wish were was a little bit better was if we had some enhanced reporting. And, I guess if we could expand a little bit more on the customization. So that we can better integrate it with the Ninja One RMM.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR removes the stress of dealing with multiple panes of glass and different reports, allowing us to access information much faster.

 ### 12. Peace of Mind with Powerful Endpoint Protection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR for its excellent ransomware detection and Windows Defender antivirus control. One of the things I appreciate about it is the visibility it gives me into what's happening on the endpoints. The integration with Windows Antivirus is quite beneficial, providing enough control to run and view scans, which eliminates the need for additional software. The automatic isolation feature is a peace-of-mind thing; if a virus executes at 3am, we don't have to rely on the human element to detect it. I also find it valuable that the computers are automatically isolated if suspicious activity is detected, rendering them inoperable until we give the all-clear, which provides incredible peace of mind. The initial setup was straightforward as well, with the integration with Defender being set up easily using the provided Knowledge base articles, and the initial deployment of just the EDR was very easy through our RMM.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I don't really have anything to share here. It checks all our boxes.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Huntress Managed EDR provides peace of mind with its continuous ransomware monitoring and automatic isolation of threats. The integration with Windows Antivirus simplifies control and visibility into endpoints helps us track device history and health.

 ### 13. Huntress - The one stop shop

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kieran P. | Technical Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress is ever evolving to keep up with the current demands of IT Security, doing alot of the work for us, giving us more time to focus on any areas of the business.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I think the thing that would be great is if it identifies a Excel sheet for example that is called 'passwords.xlsx' If we then go and password protect the document, huntress doesnt have any method of us excluding that file. This would be great to prevent us logging elsewhere.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress EDR gives us the ability to properly manage and protect both Servers and Workstations, but also Office365 environments, in line with industry experts, while not throwing loads of resources at the ongoing maintenance and proactive monitoring.

It allows us to expand our product stack and give our customers the best possible chance of remaining protected, at a good price.

 ### 14. Superior Product with Unmatched Support and People

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I work at an MSP, and we use Huntress Managed EDR for all of our clients. It's a superior EDR with aggressive monitoring and real-time threat analysis. I appreciate the excellent mitigation recommendations and the agents' follow-up. The chat is quick and decisive, which I find really valuable. What I like most about Huntress Managed EDR is the people. They are a step above any other EDR team I have worked with. When I call the number, I talk to a person, period. I have never waited more than 1 minute for human assistance. The key for me is the Human element. Their people get involved and use their professional skills to look at threats. They do a detailed review, and it shows in their communications.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I would like the ability to suspend protection for troubleshooting purposes. But it's not a major issue by any means. Everything else is so great, I don't mind at all.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR provides superior EDR capabilities, aggressive monitoring, and real-time threat analysis. It excels in mitigation recommendations and has a

 ### 15. Reliable MDR That Actually Feels Like a Partner

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam P. | Cyber Security Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The best part is the quality of their investigations. Huntress doesn’t just flag suspicious activity — they explain what they saw, why it matters, and what to do next. From a GRC and assurance perspective, that level of clarity makes it much easier to demonstrate control effectiveness and close the loop quickly.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I’d like to see more built‑in reporting options. The investigations are strong, but exporting clean evidence for audits or assurance reviews sometimes takes a bit of manual work.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of proving that monitoring and response controls are actually working. Huntress provides clear investigations, documented actions, and a reliable audit trail. That makes assurance reviews smoother and reduces the time spent gathering evidence for stakeholders.

 ### 16. High-Quality Detections and Outstanding 24/7 SOC Support with Minimal Performance Impact

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress Managed EDR stands out for its high-quality detections, very low false positives, and outstanding 24/7 SOC support. Their team doesn’t just alert — they investigate and help contain threats quickly. The agent is lightweight with almost no performance impact, and it plays nicely with our other tools. It delivers enterprise-level protection without requiring us to build our own large security operations team.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The main dislike is that Huntress Managed EDR and ITDR still feel somewhat disconnected — there’s no deep linking or unified view between endpoint and identity threats. For small customers without perfect device inventory, this makes correlation harder. I’d also like the ability to directly edit hostnames in the console instead of relying on workarounds when machines rename themselves. These are small frustrations, but they add up when managing many clients.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR is solving the critical problem of limited visibility and slow response to advanced threats that traditional antivirus and basic endpoint tools simply miss.
Most small to mid-sized organizations (and even many MSPs) don’t have a dedicated 24/7 security operations center or the expertise to properly tune and monitor an EDR tool. As a result, sophisticated attacks like ransomware, living-off-the-land techniques, credential dumping, and lateral movement often go undetected for hours or days.

 ### 17. Strong EDR for Enforcing Password-Protected File Access

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corbin J. | Network Security Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I like that EDR can catch users who navigate to password-protected files. We’re trying to enforce a stricter password policy to ensure everyone stays as safe as possible. It is incredibly easy to navigate the UI which I really appreciate. It is as easy to install onto devices as well, making the entire deployment process simple to integrate.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I wish that there was more capabilities for users who already have a AV or EDR service installed on their computer, or a simple override feature. For example, in testing, I am trying to remove Datto EDR and HP Pro Wolf Security off my device to allow Huntress to work properly, but I cannot seem to uninstall these easily. I wish Huntress was able to work as seamlessly as Datto EDR can alongside Wolf Security. I attempted to reach out to SOC / customer support and did not receive a response, I emailed to incidents@huntress.com and never got a response, so I wish support was better at reaching back out.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As stated above, we are using Huntress to catch files with passwords for now, before rolling out other aspects since we cannot get the full EDR experience due to the conflicting software installed. We have also gotten a few ransomware alerts and was able to use Huntress to verify false positives, which has been incredibly valuable - as Ransomware attacks are an "all-hands-on-deck" issue.

 ### 18. Seamless Integration and Stellar Protection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin J. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I really appreciate the 'single pane of glass' that Huntress Managed EDR offers, which allows all modules to tie in and integrate together seamlessly inside the admin console. Integration is key for me, as it lets me automate things and manage multiple tools at once. This ability to blend solutions into one pane of glass is the best thing ever. I also love the value and quality of endpoint protection provided. Scalability and automation are other aspects I like. The initial setup was too easy, which was great. Huntress Managed EDR was my first choice, and I love it so much that I can't imagine switching.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

At this time, I can't think of anything that don't work other than maybe more flexibility and customization and integration with the new SAT module? But since it's pretty new, I'm sure it's gonna be coming in the near future to have more white labeled customization flexibility with that solution.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR for endpoint protection, incident response, and SOC. It solves seamless integrated management issues with its single pane of glass, enabling integration and automation for managing multiple tools effortlessly.

 ### 19. Unmatched Threat Detection and User-Friendly Dashboard

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Austin P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I deploy Huntress Managed EDR to every endpoint I manage, it is mandatory for my clients. The software features a very capable SOC that I can access for immediate threats and general inquiries. I find the isolate host feature extremely valuable, as it does not constantly flag false positives like other software does, giving me peace of mind. Also, the agent is far more lightweight than competitors'. I enjoy the thorough threat reviews and the ability to use Huntress in conjunction with other security products. The product stood out after a trial version, and it was clear after some security incidents that I had more faith in Huntress to identify and resolve threats effectively. The excellent support experiences have solidified my relationship with the product. Huntress also offers an extremely user-friendly dashboard, and the initial setup was straightforward. It's so reliable that I rate it a 10, the only software I can say that about.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The only thing I can think of is a built-in link to cross-reference hashes with a reputable site such as VirusTotal.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Huntress Managed EDR reliable due to its capable SOC and accurate threat detection without false positives. The Isolate host feature provides peace of mind, acting only on real threats. Plus, it's lightweight and integrates well with other security tools.

 ### 20. Lightweight and Effective Security with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander D. | Technology Solutions Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I like that Huntress Managed EDR is lightweight and effective, making it easy to manage our security needs. I appreciate the quick and efficient support that always pulls through when we need additional assistance. The ease of setup and deployment is also a big plus, helping ensure our environment remains secure. Knowing that the SOC is watching our back allows us to sleep peacefully at night, and the remediation reports are helpful for focusing on any issues that arise.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Some additional reporting options to pull the security intelligence/defender versions would be nice.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Huntress Managed EDR to secure our clients' endpoints and identities, letting us sleep easy with SOC watching our back. Its lightweight and effective nature, along with quick support, simplifies management and focuses on remediation.

 ### 21. Best Managed EDR solution I have used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley C. | help desk technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The overall management platform is incredibly easy to navigate and get to what I need. I can also easily see current issues, click through to get details of systems having problems and address issues very efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

To be honest out of ever platform I have used I don't really have anything bad to say about Huntress. I haven't run into any issues with deployment or management of the platform. IF I had to think of something it would just be ease of adding exceptions into the system. I would want a way to see a file or process get flagged and from that flag make an exception rather than having to pull data from that flagged service and create the exception from that.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The major thing it helps is having visibility into our clients from the security side of things.

 ### 22. Great Product Great MSP partners

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael G. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The product works as advertised. We get an Alert and a remediation plan we approve the plan and the huntress team goes to work eliminating the issue. We follow up with the customer and we look like champs.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

No much would love a bit faster response from support

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can set and monitor. when an issue arises the huntress team alerts us and goes to work. we do not spend hours looking at a dashboard wasting time trying to figure out if computers are protected or not. Saves on labor big time

 ### 23. Essential Security Backup with Swift remediation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edward S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I like Huntress Managed EDR for its automated remediations and spot-on identification. It really gives me confidence knowing that it has my SOC team's back, especially when there are times our security layered approach may miss critical alerts. It's reassuring to have a tool that helps when we need to quarantine a device or network. I've heard from my team that setting it up is easy.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Sometimes the alerts do come in a bit later than I would expect them to, but I guess that's just a limitation of working with a managed response team that has to investigate these alerts.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR catches alerts missed by our layered security approach and supports us with automated remediations, ensuring comprehensive protection.

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Over the last few years, Huntress has added a great deal of additional product features, improvements and user experience modifications that continue to impress. I had a positive view of the product a few years ago and that opinion has increased greatly. I am more impressed with the direction of the company than I have been with nearly every other product I have used.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Some features of the ticketing system integration and alerting could be improved. It's a minor complaint, but it would be helpful if more client-specific alerts and tickets could be created.

**Recommendations to others considering Huntress Managed EDR:**

If you would like an additional layer of protection from Cyber threats with the need to spend a lot of time on configuration and maintenance, Huntress is a good purchase. Be sure to attend webinars hosted by Huntress Labs as thy are some of the best that I have attended.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You can never have enough layers of protection from cyber-security threats. Huntress works in addition to tradition Antivirus and gives us additional peace of mind that all manages systems are protect from threats. Because issues are resolved by Huntress's team, when necessary, we do not need to spend employee time resolving threats.

Previous Response: Huntress has proven to be an invaluable asset in our cybersecurity arsenal, catching threats that other security software often misses. The Host Isolation feature provides peace of mind, allowing us to address threats at our convenience rather than urgently at inconvenient times. The ability to receive text message alerts ensures that we stay on top of new threats promptly. The auto-remediation feature for low-level threats saves us a tremendous amount of time, making our operations more efficient. We highly recommend Huntress to everyone. We have deployed it across approximately 4500 computers for all our clients, and it integrates seamlessly with our RMM software. Additionally, their customer support is phenomenal, always ready to assist when needed.

 ### 27. Huntress Makes SOC/SIEM Deployment a Breeze for MSPs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress is great. Their platform and integrations make managing clients extremely easy. As an MSP Huntress removes a lot of barriers to getting a SOC/SIEM product into our clients' hands. Their integrations with our PSA and RMM make deployment a breeze. Within 4 hours of deploying the agent Huntress found an issue impacting the client which we were able to resolve quickly following their instructions. We just deployed Huntress to our first client and it was a breeze. The integration with Microsoft Defender means our team doesn't need to figure out how another EDR platform works.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I dislike that I didn't know about it earlier. I had an issue with SSO, but that turned out to be on our side, but their support was great in getting it resolved.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is finally filling the security gap of 24/7/365 security review. This allows us to sleep at night.

 ### 28. Effective EDR with Robust Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kim H. | President & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I'm highly impressed with how the Huntress Managed EDR SOC identified and remediated threats. When one of our clients had a threat detected on one of the endpoints, the Huntress SOC team was on top of it. I reached out to support because we're new to it, and a gentleman named Ryan walked me through everything. He explained the isolation, the remediation process, and how I could release the client and get them back online. It's also a 100% time saver and provides peace of mind knowing my clients' systems are safer than before we used Huntress.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I have nothing that I dislike yet

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR identifies, detects, and remediates threats, providing a 100% time-saver and peace of mind knowing my clients' systems are safer.

 ### 29. Best in defense

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Huntress has increased visilbiity and now identifies potential security issues like passwords stored in plain text. The "Single Pane of Glass" management for Defender devices. It makes managing remote devices simple and easy.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Enhanced integrations into other platforms other than direct "Windows Defender". We have clients who want Huntress' protection, but also want to utilize another recognized name in security and have a "Layered" approach.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress solves searching for active threats that modern EDRs just can't catch through detection schemes. Benign but potentially malicious connections and processes are quickly identified and remediations steps are provided. Huntress also alerts on severe vulnerabilities that may threaten my customers.

 ### 30. Huntress helps you have piece of mind

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Franc M. | Director, Chief Information Security Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The SOC team have got us out of trouble multiple times, they are a invaluable resource I wouldn’t want to be without.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Would be great to see an expanded set of compatible AV tools. But it works regardless.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We deal with many endpoints, over many client environments, having a single dashboard to monitor EDR is great, but also having a solution that can detect events over devices and the company is wonderful. The remediation occur very quickly making me very confident in the product and team. The ability to relay on a SOC team looking after you 24x7 gives great piece of mind.

 ### 31. Exceptional EDR with Minimal false Positives and Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cameron N. | IT Technician II

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I really like Huntress Managed EDR because it produces next to no false positives when an isolation event is triggered, significantly reducing alert fatigue. The support we receive is excellent, 10/10, and they've been incredibly helpful in dealing with urgent situations, like when we're onboarding a new customer. Huntress also deploys to almost any device, even if there are existing security agents, which minimizes gaps in coverage. Setting it up was incredibly simple, thanks to the pre-made RMM scripts for ConnectWise Automate, which got our agent scripts running on the same day.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

About the only thing I could even ask for at this point would be more control of Defender and Firewall settings directly from the agent. With compliance and other goals we have to bring our partners up to standard this would greatly reduce our workload.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR to provide 24/7 security service, eliminating alert investigation hassle, reducing false positives, and covering after-hours monitoring gaps. It provides quick threat isolation and has great support, preventing security gaps during transitions.

 ### 32. Huntress is amazing!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lance A. | C.E.O., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We have seen where a customer will click on a fraudulent item and Huntress stops the problem before it impacts the network. The customer, our office, and the Huntress SOC is notified immediately. It’s an amazing product!

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

The not responding workstations is a good check, it lets us verify the billing is correct.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress is solving the problem that a lot of my clients are not going to pay for a higher proiced application. The functionality of Huntress is comparable at a lower price = better value. It allows me to complete my security stack and ensure my clients are being protected.

 ### 33. Huntress Managed EDR: Strong Detection Clear, Human-Led Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

What I like best about Huntress Managed EDR is its strong threat detection combined with human-led analysis, delivering clear, actionable insights and rapid response without overwhelming noise or complexity.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

What I dislike about Huntress Managed EDR is the limited customization and occasional delays in alert visibility, which can make it harder to fine-tune responses for more complex or highly specific environments.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR solves the problem of undetected threats and alert fatigue by combining automated detection with expert human analysis. This benefits us through faster incident response, reduced noise, and improved overall security visibility without requiring a large in-house security team.

 ### 34. Comprehensive EDR, Great Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phillip B. | Service Desk Manager

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I like the automated notifications in Huntress Managed EDR, which can be set to email our service desk, creating tickets. I like that it will remediate most things automatically, which means we only have to double-check that they were done or confirm. I also like that it will notify us to check services if they are not reporting properly. We find it comprehensive and good for managing Windows Defender. The initial setup is easy, as it integrated with our management tools and deploys automatically when setting up a lot of companies and sites.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

When there is a critical notification and the machine is isolated for investigation, there are no details on what was detected. If the investigation by Huntress finds that it was a false positive, the alert is closed, which also closes our ticketing system's ticket. There are zero details on what was flagged as a false positive. You do have the option to open a ticket immediately with the Huntress team to get details, and I've had to do that.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR helps me centrally manage AV and firewall, with automated remediation and notifications, easing our workload by handling most issues automatically.

 ### 35. Proactive Protection and Clear Notifications Make Huntress Stand Out

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raul V. | Manager of operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

It's proactive. It's a real threat happens to show up, it will take action and then notify me of what happened.
I also like the integration with O365.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

There has been a cople of instances of users using VPN and Huntress has suspended their access to email. I only knew about the VPN rule when the problem occured. It's a learning experience. I am new to Huntress, but they explained what to do. The thing that can be frustrating is that when the O365 is suspended, I have to go to MS Entra and reactivate the email. If Huntress automaticall suspends it, why cant I just click on a butting on Huntress to activated? For someone not familiar with all the Microsoft universe, it can be hauting.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

People who click on something without thinking about what they are doing.

 ### 36. Intuitive EDR with Superb Integration and Support

I think one of the pieces I would like to see in the future is the ability to write custom rules and create groups to apply them to and such.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR to ensure trust in Microsoft Defender and have a centralized dashboard for all activities. It allows me to lock out hosts, monitor user actions, and protect assets and information crucial to our school's operations.

 ### 37. Seamless SIEM Integration, Superb Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew P.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I really appreciate the good support and find Huntress Managed EDR easy to use. It's responsive, and I value the detailed reports it provides. When I open up the portal, I can see incidents and get a full detailed report about who, what, when, where, why, and how, as well as the exact directory or location of the issue. This makes it easy for me to know everything about the incidents without feeling overwhelmed. I also like that it provides security templates to send to clients and integrates seamlessly with defenses like from the centralized SIEM antivirus and integration with Defender.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I find the lack of an ignore button for incidents a bit bothersome. Also, I wish it wouldn't trigger ransomware alerts when someone simply moves emails.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR helps with alerts and remediation of security issues. It solves the issue of not knowing what is going on by providing detailed reports, making understanding incidents easy without being overwhelming.

 ### 38. Effortless Endpoint Security with Excellent Team Support

It notifies me of any issues and remediates them, which means I don't have to worry about infected machines since Huntress handles it for me. I appreciate the responsiveness and knowledge of their team. The initial setup was extremely simple with the provided script used with RMM.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I'm very happy with the product as it is. Would be nice if it integrated with other than Defender.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR on all my endpoints to watch over my client's machines. It notifies me of any issues and remediates them. I don't have to worry about infected machines; Huntress handles it for me.

 ### 39. Effortless Onboarding and Outstanding Support for MSPs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob K. | Technical Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Enables us as an MSP to bring a trusted, managed security solution to our clients, its easy to onboard with Huntress and the support has been second to none. Onboarding and managing additional clients is seamless. When an incident is raised, and it needs further action by us or the client, the info and next steps detail is robust, a highly detailed.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I dont think there are any dislikes as such. Perhaps the console could be a little easier to navigate, and maybe a quicker way to log in that keeps the appropriate levels of security?

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress enables us to bring a Managed EDR solution to our clients when it isn't our 'native language' filling what was an obvious gap in our solution portfolio.

 ### 40. Effortless EDR with Great Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bo B.

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I find Huntress Managed EDR easy to use, and for the most part, it's pretty much set and forget, which means not a lot of overhead management is needed. I just kind of set it up, tell it what I need, and it does its job. This results in low time requirements for ongoing management. With a small team and a lot of users to support, having a system that doesn't require much time or extensive training to be effective is a big benefit for us.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

If we see an Unhealthy alert for Microsoft Defender, it's sometimes unclear what is causing the error and how to correct it

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR to manage EDR for all our workstations, increasing security awareness, keeping devices virus-free, helping us with compliance, and alerting us to suspicious activity. It's easy to use, requires little management, and supports a small team effectively.

 ### 41. Effortless Deployment, Reliable Security Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy S. | N, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I like that Huntress Managed EDR can seamlessly integrate with what we already have, such as Microsoft Defender for endpoint. This flexibility allows us to use it alongside our existing security measures, enhancing our overall security framework without the need for major overhauls. Additionally, I really appreciate the ease of deployment. The deployment process is very straightforward, offering scripts and packages with instructions that simplify pushing it out through our RMM. This ease of use translates to less time spent on maintenance and deployment, allowing us to focus on other important tasks. It also provides a central pane of glass that we've been wanting, reducing the need to log in and out of multiple consoles, which streamlines our workflow significantly.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Occasionally, there had been issues with the alerting system where alerts would signal that the EDR or Defender wasn't functioning properly, but the alerts did not necessarily specify the client or device involved. This lack of specificity could impede troubleshooting and resolution processes.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR reduces maintenance time with its ease of deployment, integrating seamlessly with existing tools like Microsoft Defender, offering a central dashboard to streamline operations and minimize console logins.

 ### 42. Essential Protection with Human-Led Precision

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

What I like most about Huntress Managed EDR is the human-led threat hunting combined with clear, real-world guidance. It feels like having an experienced security team walking through your environment all the time, not just a dashboard with alarms and things like that. It's designed really well for my small team. The platform is lightweight, easy to deploy, and doesn't require constant tuning. It has a really strong focus on precision and attacker behavior.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

One thing that could be improved for Huntress Managed EDR is the reporting and analytics tool. It's really simple to use, but I think a deeper and nicer reporting and analytics tool for the platform would be great.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress Managed EDR provides strong endpoint protection and identifies threats that traditional tools miss. It is especially valuable for small teams lacking dedicated security resources, offering 24/7 threat hunting and expert analysis, saving time and reducing stress with high-confidence, actionable detections and remediation guidance.

It is helping us solve the problem of security by having a an edr agent on client devices that we know is up to standard and can deal with relevant threats

 ### 45. Fast Install, Lightweight Footprint, and English-Speaking Tech Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janet R. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Install is fast. Foot print/required resources is small. Tech Support speaks English. Price is reasonable.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

No downsides. I repeat: No downsides!!

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Users are clicking on nafarious links and downloading malware/viruses. Huntress locks the system, remediates what they can and calls me, texts me and emails me to finish the cleanup. They give me a step-by-step plan for what needs to happen to remove the mess. They are fast and I am certain they have saved me HOURS! They are stopping infiltrations within minutes of happening. There is no way I could catch, stop and repair as fast as they do!!!

 ### 46. Best professional SOC team on the planet

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris S. | VP of Security, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

Having a top-tier SOC team monitoring our deployment gives us confidence that potential threat actors are being stopped before they can cause harm. Not only do they keep the bad guys out, but they also provide detailed explanations of each detected threat and deliver thorough remediation plans.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

One limitation is the lack of options for creating customized, organization-specific detections. I would appreciate more robust Data Loss Prevention features, particularly for tailoring insider threat detection to our needs. It would be beneficial if the product could be expanded to cover not only initial footholds but also a broader range of potentially malicious activities by insiders or any actions that violate organizational security policies.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Huntress helps us prevent threat actors from gaining access to our clients' hosts, Azure IDs, and tenants. The rapid progression from detection to thorough investigation, followed by escalation and incident response, and finally a detailed remediation plan, is something we could not achieve on our own without the support of the Huntress team.

 ### 47. Real Humans Elevate Endpoint Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neal W.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I really like that real humans, not AI, look at every signal with Huntress Managed EDR. Issues are remediated with minimal input from me and it's very fast. I get an automated text, an automated call, and then a call from a human if needed. The initial setup was a snap.

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I'm a little unclear about what some errors mean, such as when endpoints claim they are unmanaged. I had a few endpoints that hadn't had AV updates for Defender done in 7 days, and I didn't know how to force the update of Defender.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR because normal antivirus can let threats slip by, but Huntress has real humans reviewing signals. Issues get fixed quickly with minimal input from me, and I receive notifications through automated texts, calls, and human follow-ups if needed.

 ### 48. Easy Deployment, Robust EDR with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

I love that it's managed and their support is usually very good. The Huntress Support made the transition to Huntress very easy and it has reduced the 'noise' I have to deal with using EDR. The initial setup was quick and easy, and Huntress provides several options to deploy the clients..

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

I would like to see a system tray icon to let customers know Huntress is active.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Huntress Managed EDR to protect my endpoints and monitor them for malicious activity. It has made managing my EDR much easier, reducing the 'noise' I deal with. Their SOC and support enhance client protection.

 ### 49. Huntress: The perfect Defense for MSPs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phillip P. | Cyber Security Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Huntress Managed EDR?**

We recently took Huntress up as our MSP main defensive software. Our Managed customers utilise the EDR and the ITDR. We use the Huntress portal every single day and it's the best software we have used so far.

Rolling out the software was incredibly easy via our RMM software for Windows devices, MACs are a bit more difficult but they always are let's face it. I was able to build a script that installed it in seconds via Ninja RMM.

We have already had several incidents that Huntress has prevented, this includes smaller issues like detecting a spreadsheet containing passwords to more severe issues like Malware being deployed. In both cases, the reports generated by Huntress are easy to read and contain clear instructions on how to remediate the issue.

The EDR works extremely well with Windows Defender and the two products work seamlessly together.

I have recently used the live chat support option and go through to a tech in about 30 seconds, the chap I spoke to knew what he talking about and was able to effectively assist me in my problem.

Update: Still no issues but 100s of attempts on our customers foiled by Huntress 10/10

**What do you dislike about Huntress Managed EDR?**

As stated previously we rolled out our Huntress via RMM. There is a MAC RMM script but this only installs part of the software. You still need to manually allow full disk access for the extension. A small issue but one I hope they will be able to fix someday.

Update: MAC rollouts are still painful but as we all know thats just standard problems with MACs :)

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a 24/7 SOC-centred solution to better defend our customers.

I like the ability to get ahold of a human to answer my questions about threat mitigation. It's crucial for me because if I didn't get ahold of a person, I would seriously wonder if the threat was actually contained. Additionally, the initial setup of Huntress Managed EDR was very easy for my team.

**What problems is Huntress Managed EDR solving and how is that benefiting you?**
