Sometimes, the flowcharting was a little quirky where it changed my shapes. It was a little frustrating, but It was not a show-stopper. I wish there was more integration with data sources, like Excel, to be able to build live dashboards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the variety of templates available to me. The templates help with the creation of the design. It gives me a starting point. I also like the option to export it out. I also like the graphics they have pre done for me to use when i'm recreating network infrasture. The staff like the many graphic options for Personal injury matters. It would be cool in the future to have a collaboration feature with design. Where more than one person can work on a "project' together.

Many objects have fixed aspect ratio and can't be easily resized in single dimensions.
The rotation tools for objects are not intuitive at all. Some objects have a standard rotation handle but others require the use of the menu and to choose a rotation from a menu that is relative to the initial position which can be very confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ease of use the program allows. The site plan layout feature is great. The package pricing is fair. The quickstart templates are a great feature. Anthony Ray gave us an excellent explanation and walkthrough of how it works and showed us all the features that we had questions about. Flowcharts and mindmaps are ridiculously easy to make with SmartDraw- no dragging and dropping and adjusting lines & shapes to be perfectly centered/aligned with each other, just use the automation and the program knows to add the exact amount of space and alignment to make a very clear and understandable diagram. I use SmartDraw mostly on my desktop computer for more screen space. I wish I could drag my diagram left/right/up/down by holding my right mouse button inside the work area, instead of using the scroll bars on the sides.
