Plenty of ready-made shapes and templates/textures. Can go from ideas or photos to an elevation drawing in 2 hours. Different ways to export and print. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Most features work very well, I think the next step for the software is to integrate with AI to recognize elements from a photo, and also integrate with Matterport (unless already there:). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The two major problems are the annual subscription requirement (no monthly available) and being locked out of existing drawings if you don't renew the annual subscription. I think this is especially a problem considering the software is best suited for more casual uses. And since there isn't a monthly subscription, you can't just renew at a small cost to get your old work back. Make a feature where existing documents can be downloaded as a zip file or something equivalent, or allow a monthly subscription option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use SmartDraw to create design layouts for remodeling projects, room layouts, and just to dream about future projects. It is easy to learn, works pretty well, and is a significant upgrade from our old pencil and graph paper methods. Start-up was incredibly simple and we had useful drawings the first night. We love having the projects on the cloud and accessible from any location. We use it at least weekly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Every once in a while the loading can be a little glitchy, but that may be our internet connection. Separating walls and items is sometimes hit or miss, but can usually be overcome with a reload. Would love to see some additional options in the furnishings/finishes (barn door?), but generally speaking we can find what we need in the existing libraries.
