Silna is building the only solution specialty healthcare providers need to financially clear patients for care, with an explicit focus on streamlining the prior authorization process. Prior auths are the most manual part of the billing workflow and an increasing burden that delays time to care, reduces claims approved, and increases admin costs for providers. Silna works with providers in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, ABA, and Behavioral Health, to handle the entire patient clearance workflow (benefits and eligibility checks, prior authorizations). What do you like best about Silna Health?

Silna has made our intake process much easier and more efficient with accurate information we pass along to potential patients. It has offloaded our admin team so they are able to focus on other important tasks. The portal is easy to use and all members of our practice are able to easily integrate it in to our protocols. They are able to access both in and out of network benefits for our potential patients and deliver that information in a timely manner. They are also able to complete authorization protocols and help us track patients accounts so we don't miss opportunities to extend or acquire additional auth. What do you like best about Silna Health?

Great implentation process and attention from the CEO & COO, all questions and concerns quickly addressed. Quick process to provide client demos to upload to Silna. Easy to upload image of patient demos to minimize the # of clicks to enter a new client. Platform very easy to use, ie request benefit checks, auth req, etc. Quick responses from Silna team whenever Sprout staff have a question. Daily benefit checks range from 1-5 in a day and consistently have received updates with 24 business hours. Very important that Silna is staffed by insurance administrators with specific experience in the ABA industry. Understanding the difference between medical benefits vs behavioral benefits and TPAs that handle different aspects of the ABA intake process; mulitple scenarios have presented themselves where only a seasoned ABA insurance coordinator would be able to rectify in a timely manner. What do you dislike about Silna Health?

Silna's platform has made managing elibility and authorizations incredibly seamless for our team. The platform is easy to navigate and has significantly streamlined our processes, especially when it pertains to authorizations and progress reports. This system has saved us so much time on our day to day and the Silna team is always so helpful and engaging.

What do you like best about Silna Health?

I love that Silna offers guidance and support during their trial phase. When meeting with some employees virtually, I felt as though my questions were answered thoroughly and I never felt as though Sunflower was in bad hands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Silna Health?

There was one or two times that the extraction in one of our billing platforms to Silna did not align correctly, but I do not consider this to be SIlna's fault, as technology will always have some faults. Silna has taken such a big weight off of my shoulders. Being one person, I was having a difficult time keeping up with the prior authorizations and benefit checks as our company has been growing. What do you like best about Silna Health?

By collaborting with Silna, our front desk team can focus on our families and their needs and exeriences. I greatly appreciate the consistent and transparent approach to insurance verifications. The Silna team is always willing to reach out to insurance companies if specific questions arise. They take constructive feedback well and are prompt in their responses. What do you dislike about Silna Health?

I know our current process for sending a request for an insurance verification was mostly created based on an old system we used with Therapy Partners, however, I feel this process could be better. Filling out the client registration info form seems unnecessary and will the entering of insurance numbers, etc. it leaves room for errors. I would prefer a system where we just send photos of the insurance cards, maybe create a form that contains all necessary info for a verification. Also, I do wish the monthly MA checks were somehow documented in the individual EMR files. I do not know what that process would look like at this point, it's just more of a want so I do not question whether ones has been done or not. Also, I do find some challenges with determining who is responsible for certain insurance related tasks that pop up. I think we are all still learning how this works so hopefully we have more clarity as we continue to grow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Silna Health?

First off, working with the Silna Health team has been fantastic. Their leaders are professional, thorough, prompt AND are more than "just a vendor". Silna has become an important partner to our ABA Therapy team, completely revamping and improving our authorizations managment and benefit verifications processes, with and for us during an incredibly easy implementation. We appreciated the testing phases, verification of documentation and the attention to detail during the integration process when we were ready to roll out. The Silna Customer Support Team is very quick at starting authorization requests and ensuring they are completed as fast as possible and have drastically reduced the amount of time we were taking internally to complete those tasks. The focus on automation and data analytics sets them apart. Our team receives automated reminders weekly with client authorizations expiring and we are given data reports weekly that shows our progress. Partnering with Silna Health has allowed for a dramatic reduction of administrative time spent by our BCBAs and admin team members with authorization requests, so we can focus on growth and the clients we serve, which has been a major WIN! What problems is Silna Health solving and how is that benefiting you?

Prior to partnering with Silna Health, our prior authorization process was very "clunky" and inefficient. Our BCBAs had a great deal of responsibility and ownership with authorization requests, follow ups, etc. Now, those BCBAs can utilize the time they spent writing emails, on phone calls or on hold focusing on the superivision and treatment plans for their clients. Members of our Administrative Team have also benefitted from time savings as well. Another important benefit is that we are seeing a vast improvement with earlier auth requests from our BCBAs and staying on track with new auths after Silna Health took over our prior authorization processes. One aspect I find a little challenging about Silna Helaht is the complex interface which can be difficult to navigate, especially for new users. While the technology itself is advanced, the learing curve assoicated with their systems can be steep and somewhat frusturating, but the more you work with the system it's easy to implemate. What do you like best about Silna Health?

I like that Silna simplifies the process of submitting auths and verifying benefits. Instead of having to login to several different portals, we only have to use Silna and they take care of the rest. It free's up time for our staff to focus on other tasks.

The customer service has also been top notch. They gave us a dedicated email and they respond very quickly. During the implementation they met with us weekly to ensure a smooth transition.
