Silna has made our intake process much easier and more efficient with accurate information we pass along to potential patients. It has offloaded our admin team so they are able to focus on other important tasks. The portal is easy to use and all members of our practice are able to easily integrate it in to our protocols. Great implentation process and attention from the CEO & COO, all questions and concerns quickly addressed. Quick process to provide client demos to upload to Silna. Easy to upload image of patient demos to minimize the # of clicks to enter a new client. Platform very easy to use, ie request benefit checks, auth req, etc. Quick responses from Silna team whenever Sprout staff have a question. Daily benefit checks range from 1-5 in a day and consistently have received updates with 24 business hours. Very important that Silna is staffed by insurance administrators with specific experience in the ABA industry. Understanding the difference between medical benefits vs behavioral benefits and TPAs that handle different aspects of the ABA intake process; mulitple scenarios have presented themselves where only a seasoned ABA insurance coordinator would be able to rectify in a timely manner. What I like best about Silna Health is how it has completely streamlined our processes, making tasks easier to delegate and manage across the team. Silna's platform has made managing elibility and authorizations incredibly seamless for our team. The platform is easy to navigate and has significantly streamlined our processes, especially when it pertains to authorizations and progress reports. There was one or two times that the extraction in one of our billing platforms to Silna did not align correctly, but I do not consider this to be SIlna's fault, as technology will always have some faults. I know our current process for sending a request for an insurance verification was mostly created based on an old system we used with Therapy Partners, however, I feel this process could be better. Filling out the client registration info form seems unnecessary and will the entering of insurance numbers, etc. it leaves room for errors. I would prefer a system where we just send photos of the insurance cards, maybe create a form that contains all necessary info for a verification. Also, I do wish the monthly MA checks were somehow documented in the individual EMR files. I do not know what that process would look like at this point, it's just more of a want so I do not question whether ones has been done or not. Also, I do find some challenges with determining who is responsible for certain insurance related tasks that pop up. First off, working with the Silna Health team has been fantastic. Their leaders are professional, thorough, prompt AND are more than "just a vendor". Silna has become an important partner to our ABA Therapy team, completely revamping and improving our authorizations managment and benefit verifications processes, with and for us during an incredibly easy implementation. We appreciated the testing phases, verification of documentation and the attention to detail during the integration process when we were ready to roll out. The Silna Customer Support Team is very quick at starting authorization requests and ensuring they are completed as fast as possible and have drastically reduced the amount of time we were taking internally to complete those tasks. The focus on automation and data analytics sets them apart. Our team receives automated reminders weekly with client authorizations expiring and we are given data reports weekly that shows our progress. Partnering with Silna Health has allowed for a dramatic reduction of administrative time spent by our BCBAs and admin team members with authorization requests, so we can focus on growth and the clients we serve, which has been a major WIN! One aspect I find a little challenging about Silna Helaht is the complex interface which can be difficult to navigate, especially for new users. While the technology itself is advanced, the learing curve assoicated with their systems can be steep and somewhat frusturating, but the more you work with the system it's easy to implemate. I like that Silna simplifies the process of submitting auths and verifying benefits. Instead of having to login to several different portals, we only have to use Silna and they take care of the rest. It free's up time for our staff to focus on other tasks.
The customer service has also been top notch. They gave us a dedicated email and they respond very quickly. During the implementation they met with us weekly to ensure a smooth transition.
