Top Rated SIGNL4 Alternatives

I have been a SIGNL4 user (OPTIMIZE PLAN) for a few months now, and the number of features and flexibility this tool provides continues to deliver as my use cases have changed. They are a mobile-first alerting platform with (in my opinion) the best mobile app on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am usually not a person who likes having their handheld for onboarding, and I am unsure if it was an option... but this tool is so flexible that I would liked to have had a private onboarding experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like how reliable and fast the alerts are. Getting notifications through push, SMS, and voice calls ensures nothing gets missed. The on-call scheduling is also super useful for managing team shifts. Plus, the setup is straightforward, and the integrations make it easy to connect with existing systems. We have implemented it for different types of alerts, such as fire and intrusion, and the tests have been very successful. We also use it to monitor our IT system, as it is fully integrated with our infrastructure, ensuring we never miss a critical issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing that could be improved is the language options. Currently, it's mainly available in English and German, but adding more languages would be helpful for colleagues who aren’t fluent in either. It would make the platform more accessible and allow SIGNL4 to reach a wider audience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using SIGNL4 for about 3 years now.
The app has enabled us to replace a full time Operator by ensuring that we get alerted when any of our batch processes fails.
It is incredibly reliable and seamlessly integrated into our solution.
Setting up the alerts are straightforward with the ability to escalate alerts that is not acknowledged within the selected timeframe to ensure critical alerts are resolved within SLA.
SIGNL4 has improved our alert management process and would highly recommend it to any team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is more expensive compared to competitors but all the other features offered makes it great value for money Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Mobile app is easy to use, various monitoring systems are very easy to connect to the system. Alerts are always delivered with escalation when not acknowledged. Has allowed our staff to actually sleep at night without having to constantly check their phones/laptops to see if there is an alert they have missed! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Would like to see more features around Remote actions like we had on EnterpriseAlert Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
An absolutely amazing functionality is the bidirectional Zabbix <-> SIGNL4 connection, which allows you to resolve tickets created in Zabbix directly in SIGNL4. I like the variety of connectors and the good documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It bothers me that there is no option for SIGNL4 2-way 3rd party connectors in the cheaper plan. As a freelancer, I don't need the features for Duty & Shift Scheduling etc, but I do need the two-way communication feature with the monitoring system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use Signl4 daily and it is very reliable and easy to use. The implementation was straightforward and any issues are promptly dealt with by the customer support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Shifts and Duties took a little while to setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Integration with various tools is impressive.
Ability to generate unique Email address hosted by Signl4 is awesome idea. No need to host IMAP server in house for this purpose.
Marketing communication during trial was excellent
I feel like Signl4 is motivated to improve its product.
Some staff members appears to be actively monitoring various forums (CheckMK, Reddit, etc) to assist users who have questions.
App is friendly to use, looks great, doesn't eat battery usage.
Implementation took just a couple hours. Glad was so easy as our previous solution stopped working suddenly.
Love the fact that the app confirms my colleague is on duty. So no need to nag her to confirm she turned it on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Price is a bit high. Only feature we need is the persistent notifications. We go from 0$ a month to 18$ a month for 2 users for this feature alone. But we can't complain ; Free alternative solutions all disappeared
Integration with CheckMK is not yet perfect. When alert clears in checkMK, it fails to clear the Signl4 alert. Bug exists in the CheckMK add-in. Unique identifier for the Host or Service failure is not pushed properly to Signl4 API. We live with it for now, but monitoring users complains they have no way to know when issue is solved by looking Signl4 app only. I'm sure we could fix. I don' t have the time to investigate or escalate this issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This system works as advertised and the perpetual notifications until acknowledgment really helps when things go bad in the middle of the night. Also love the fact you can setup a chain so that if the 1st responders do not reply in a set period of time, it will start alerting the next person on your list. Honestly for what we use it for, after hours alerts, we have zero issues and there is nothing to dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use SIGNL4 for alerting from Icinga and are very happy with it. The alerting is done via an http webhook to a Signl4 address and is easy to set up. Shifts and escalation mechanisms can then be set within the app.
We used to only have alerting via phone/SMS, but SIGNL4 is much better in this respect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I am missing is an alert via a different method than the Internet. As far as I know, the only way to do this is via webhook or email. However, an alert via a second medium, such as SMS, would still be important for us. But maybe that will come in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
