"Simple, Intuitive POS That Syncs Seamlessly with Your Online Store"
What do you like best about Shopify POS?

What i really like about the shopify POS is how simple and easy it is to use. You dont need much training to get started, and everything feels quite intuitive. The best part is how smoothly it connects with the online store, so managing products and orders in one place becomes super convenient. I also like how fast the checkout process is and how everything stays synced in real time, like inventory and customer data. It saves a lot of effort and makes daily operations much easier, especially if you are handling both online and offline sales. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify POS?

One thing I dont like about shopify POS is the pricing. Some useful features are only available in higher plans, which can feel a bit expensive, especially for small businesses. Also certain advanced features and integrations sometimes require extra apps, which adds to the overall cost. Another downside is that customization options are somewhat limited in a few areas, like reports and POS specific settings. Occasionally, the system can feel slightly slow when syncing data or handling large inventories. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Online-to-In-Store Sync with a Clean, Reliable POS"
What do you like best about Shopify POS?

Shopify POS is a smooth, reliable point-of-sale system that works especially well for businesses already running on Shopify. Its biggest advantage is how seamlessly it connects in-store and online sales: inventory, orders, customer profiles, and product data stay synced in real time. The interface is clean and intuitive, so staff can learn it quickly, and checkout stays fast with multiple payment options. It’s also flexible when it comes to hardware support, staff permissions, discounts, and reporting, which makes it a strong fit for retail teams that want a unified commerce experience without a complicated setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify POS?

Some features that larger retailers often need—such as deeper reporting, advanced permissions, or more complex workflows—may require higher-tier plans or additional apps. Overall, customization is strong, but certain edge-case requirements (like unique tax rules or specialized inventory handling) can take extra configuration and fine-tuning. Hardware costs can also add up, depending on the store setup and the number of locations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Shopify POS Makes Selling Effortless with Seamless Inventory and Customer Sync"
What do you like best about Shopify POS?

What I like most about Shopify POS is how it fades into the background. I make a sale in-store, and my online inventory, customer data, and reports update automatically. There are no end-of-day reconciliation rituals and no spreadsheets to “fix” reality.

The interface is another major win. It’s straightforward enough that new staff can ring up sales almost right away, yet not so stripped down that it feels limiting in day-to-day use. The buttons are where your hands expect them to be. That may sound like a small detail, but in retail, friction adds up fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify POS?

My biggest frustration with Shopify POS is the reporting. The built-in reports are fine for quick spot checks, but they’re too limited for real retail analysis. If you need deeper insight—things like staff performance, margin tracking, or cash variance—you quickly end up exporting data or paying for extra apps, and that gets old fast.

Inventory management is another weak point. It’s solid for simple catalogs, but as soon as you add bundles, complex variants, or multi-location logic, it starts to feel brittle. It’s not broken; it just feels clearly designed with an ecommerce-first mindset rather than inventory-heavy retail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Integration and Stellar Support Make Shopify POS a Standout"
What do you like best about Shopify POS?

A standout feature that many reviewers highlight is Shopify POS's ability to seamlessly integrate online and in-store operations. The system offers real-time inventory synchronization, unified customer profiles, and centralized product data, all of which are frequently mentioned as key strengths. This unified approach is consistently recognized as one of the platform’s core advantages. and It's easy to use, customer support is fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify POS?

There are concerns about cost, as some users believe that smart inventory reporting and advanced staff controls are only accessible through the more expensive plans. Additionally, one reviewer highlights the system's limited offline capabilities, mentioning that it cannot reliably process transactions without an internet connection. Another user points out the lack of design flexibility within the POS or store theme, which restricts customization options. Finally, several reviewers note that important features are missing from the lower-tier plans, making upgrades to higher tiers almost necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Integration with Shopify E-commerce"
What do you like best about Shopify POS?

I appreciate that Shopify POS provides a terminal and payment processor linked directly to our online store, sharing inventory so we're never unsure of what we have. It's great that it allows us to use an iPad to build orders with customers, instead of writing things down and going back to a computer to invoice. I like how seamlessly it works with local pickup orders; when a customer orders online for pickup, their order goes into the POS app, so we can verify and mark it fulfilled when they pick it up. The best feature for me is the packaging with our Shopify ecommerce, so we just manage the online store and everything lines up for POS. The initial setup was seamless, just a matter of checking a box for markets and connecting the card reader and printer, which took about 2 minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify POS?

The only improvement I can suggest is some further customization on the receipt printer. But not necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Stock Management, Seamless Ecommerce Integration"
What do you like best about Shopify POS?

I like Shopify POS because it was made with e-commerce in mind and e-commerce first, which aligns perfectly with how much shopping is done online these days. The seamless integration between online and in-store is something I really appreciate, especially in this post-COVID world where such integration is vital. It's very easy to manage and gives me a clear view of where stock is located between physical stores and the online store with just a simple iPad. This simplicity means anyone can easily track inventory without the worry of duplicate stock movements. Overall, Shopify POS is built for first-world e-commerce integration, making it really effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify POS?

There probably could be some improvements to the interface and linking customers from the POS. But overall, it's a really great platform and there's not too much to complain about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly POS with Integrated Hardware and Software"
What do you like best about Shopify POS?

I bought Shopify POS for my uncle's shop to enable wireless payments, which has been a big support for us in billing. I like that Shopify provides both software and hardware as a product, unlike some companies that sell only one or the other. It's very user-friendly, designed in a way that even a small kid can use it, which really sets it apart from others. We find the software itself user-friendly enough that we haven't needed to switch to anything else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify POS?

My kind request the delivery and delivery price is so high compare to others they need to concentrate on this this is their major issue, if they low the price of the shipping everyone could buy it affordable Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient and Reliable POS System with Minor Improvements Needed"
What do you like best about Shopify POS?

I use Shopify POS for various purposes like selling in person, managing customers, staff management, managing orders, and fulfillment. Shopify POS solves many problems for me, such as easy inventory tracking across locations, fast checkouts with barcode scan options, and quick discounts and refunds, including exchanges. What I like most about Shopify POS is having everything under one platform with fast and secure payments. I appreciate the smooth billing, easy returns, and the reports feature. It makes selling faster, simpler, and more reliable with easy-to-use dashboards, and offers quick payments with multiple options. Also, the initial setup was very easy and amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify POS?

I find staff management has limitations that could be improved, and the hardware cost and compatibility can be better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless In-Store Sales Management, Needs Faster Syncing"
What do you like best about Shopify POS?

I love using Shopify POS because it’s super easy to use and works smoothly with my online store. It allows me to manage my in‑store sales, billing, and inventory efficiently while keeping everything synced in real time. The real-time syncing ensures billing is faster and inventory remains accurate. The initial setup was also very easy, with the app guiding me step‑by‑step, making the whole process hassle-free and quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify POS?

Shopify POS is good overall, but it could be improved by giving faster syncing, smoother offline mode, and more flexible customization options so the billing and inventory flow feels even more seamless. Shopify POS could improve by giving faster, real‑time syncing even on slow networks and a stronger offline mode that saves data more reliably so billing and stock updates never get delayed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easiest POS for Payment Flexibility, Needs Sync Improvements"
What do you like best about Shopify POS?

I like its ease of use and how the app itself is very easy to understand and easy to check out a customer. You can easily add discounts to your orders and easily find your orders within the bottom bar. And I can check people out pretty fast. The initial setup was really easy as it automatically attached to my account, and I didn't have to do much setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify POS?

Sometimes the app doesn't automatically sync to the regular Shopify app, causing changes and delays in edits. Additionally, I have to reset the app or go into settings to reset my PIN to log in, as it sometimes locks me out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
