Ship hero has an excellent iphone app for picking orders, we can take a brand new employee and have them out on the floor picking orders within minutes due to how easy it is to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ship Hero support hasn't been as fast as we would like. We often will get issues with an order, and if we are unable to fix it ourselves, it can sometimes take days to get help on the order. I like that it has a great UI/UX for pickers and packers and all operations team that allows for better productivity.
It's a system that solves complex needs in general to the most basics ones for a Fulfillment Center with an easy to use logic.
I like the fact that we can use lot products and FEFO logic, we can create bundles for customers based on single products so no need to make pre word to create them.
In general, is a system that adds value to the operation and visibility to the team and customers.
But what I like most its the attention you receive fro the SH tam to answer all your questions and help solve issues you might have either if its something you don’t understand or a bug in the system.
The API integration was simple and connects with our system perfectly that allowed almost a plug-in-and-play atmosphere for the operation. training of use is quite simple.

What I don't like is some configuration sets that are a bit slow to set. Like when you create a new seller/customer for the general admin personnel you have to manually select that new customer in each user by hand. Its time consuming of you don't have a dedicated person for system configuration and also even if you do it does not add that much value.
I would like Lot customers to have a default setting that all new products created either by API or manually are created as needing lot since when a customer creates a new product this you need to catch it or the product will be inbounded without this characteristic.
I would also like more reports and statistics about performance, general production and productivity an faster downloads of information in excel if you need to.

It's has been a crutial tool to enable scaling our business. All the tools for inventory and order management and tracking are amazing. The ease of integration has been a joy to our ecommerce clients. The software itself is very easy to use and self intuitive, has made onboarding both our clients and employees a breeze. It has all the tools you need to run a state of the art operation. As as cherry on top the customer support and specially in our case Catalina Galvis has been an lifesaver, always following up our reports with quick answers and quick solutions everytime we had needed it. We have been using shiphero since we started as a small ecommerce fulfillment company and will continue to be our ally in our regional omnichanell fulfillment for our local market and cross border fulfillment. While our experience with ShipHero has been predominantly positive, there are a few areas where we see room for improvement. One aspect that we'd appreciate more control over is the ability to handle certain tasks internally, rather than relying on support. For instance, the option to force a sync of inventory with Shopify or execute some bulk tasks independently would enhance our operational efficiency and autonomy.
Additionally, while the user interface of ShipHero is generally user-friendly, we found that some sections had a bit of a learning curve. New users might find certain parts of the UI initially perplexing, requiring a period of adjustment to navigate comfortably. ShipHero makes shipping quick and easy for anyone to use. They have a fantastic team. Alissa, Chris, Collin, and Stacy have been extremely helpful with any questions we've had, and they always get back to us as quickly as possible. Our team was able to easily navigate switching to ShipHero in 2 days with very little hiccups. ShipHero also has endless features, and we were able to personalize our account to fit our warehouse's unique needs. I highly recommend ShipHero and their team of awesome people. - Missing features for bulk editing Orders (example: re-processing orders)
- Bugs or software issues requiring re-processing of the order manually
- Some support tickets require engineer assistance and these typically take sometimes over a month to resolve

I find it to be fairly intuitive software and easy to implement, but when we have questions or need direction the support is top notch! I can't thank our CS manager Cathy and her team enough for all of the assistance they provide. We just recently expanded operations to a second location and they have been a huge proponent in our ability to do it smoothly and without any noticeable pauses in our service. We really think of them as an extension of our team as they provide not only knowledge, but offer up unique solutions to issues we encounter - which is pretty rare in today's CS landscape. Easy to train new staff on its basics, allowing new employees to begin picking and packing orders on their first day. The WMS will even speak to staff in other languages step-by-step to help them learn how to pick orders.
Offers a huge array of functionalities such as insight into labor analytics, shipment reports for customers, easy integrations with customer web-hosting platforms, generating return labels. Also offers consistent interaction with Shopify, Woocommerce etc that allows orders to be edited, canceled, set as priority without any communication issues between each platform (something we experienced with other WMS providers). They have a solid customer service team as well. Our customer service manager is incredibly knowledgeable, communicative, and easy to work with. They really work hard to hand-pick the best team members.
Excellent redundancy measures when picking and packing orders. Also compatible with an adaptive packing station, allowing staff to simply press 2 buttons to pack orders. Complete removal of mouse and keyboard significantly speeds up the shipping process.
Receiving procedures are very easy as well. Customers create purchase orders, our staff receive against them, and inventory is immediately available to be picked and shipped. The Purchase Order functionality also offers uploading of photos for received shipments or rejected inventory that may have arrived damaged that attaches to each PO. Hugely helpful for damaged goods organization and customer visualization of received inventory.
Very IOS compatible, making picking orders via ipads an incredibly easy process for anyone to learn. We sort our packages in-house as well and utilize ShipHero's package sorting feature daily. It's accurate and fast.
One of our favorite functionalities is the flexibility of ShipHero's automation rules. These were a huge contributor to our decision to switch WMS providers. These rules allow you to pre-set package sizes for efficient packing based on individual SKUs or the number of units in an order, direct staff to add gift notes for specific SKUs, choose specific carriers for specific items, or even automatically cancel orders for specific parts of the world if the customer has other 3PLs in other countries. These examples really don't even touch the amount of things that can be done with the amount of automation rules offered, but they are some of the ones we use most often.
Very easy onboarding for new customers, user-friendly interface as well. Ultimately a big selling point for us when we onboard new customers. Every customer we have is very happy with it, no matter the size of their business. It can easily accommodate thousands of orders per day.
Very honestly, there are no downsides to switching to Shiphero. They have allowed us incomparable optics into our complex operation that consists of shipping thousands of orders with extremely high accuracy all day long. We tried two other WMS providers before making the switch and could not be happier with our decision. They are lightyears ahead of other WMS providers. Occasional bugs that may require a page refresh or a log out/log in to fix, some delays in customer service which have caused significant issues to be fixed upwards of 1 week after a ticket was submitted (specifically with wholesale order functionalities). However, the ShipHero development team ultimately met with us to get our feedback on this functionality and fixed it accordingly. This was also before we were assigned a dedicated Customer Success Manager. Since then, their service has been excellent.
Difficulty onboarding the WMS to our warehouse.
Originally told we would have a ShipHero representative arrive on-site to aid with onboarding, but this did not happen. Without in-person guidance, the basics were very easy to grasp and implement, but it would have been helpful to receive in-person guidance on additional complex backend functionalities and optimization of pick-lines. It should be noted no other WMS providers offer in-person training and it was not a big issue that this did not occur, but it would have made admin operation easier earlier on.
