What is SFTP Gateway?

SFTP Gateway is a cross-cloud SFTP server that lets you simply, securely, and affordably give SFTP users access to cloud storage locations like Amazon S3, Azure Blob, Google Cloud Storage, and Alibaba Object Storage Service (OSS). One of the biggest differences between SFTP Gateway and other managed file transfer products is that SFTP Gateway is deployed in your private cloud environment. Unlike with many other managed file transfer software companies, Thorn Technologies doesn’t touch your data or infrastructure, which is huge in an age of data breaches. Another Thorn Technologies product, StorageLink, is a web-based file transfer tool that allows users to move files to private cloud storage locations using a simple drag-and-drop interface. Thousands of customers worldwide use the two products, which come with free email support from Thorn Tech’s responsive team.

What do you like best about SFTP Gateway?

It provides exactly what I need - a gateway from SFTP to S3. Easy to set up, and simply works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SFTP Gateway?

Not much to dislike. I had to write some scripts for specific stuff, but they've since come out with a much better gui than when i started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SFTP Gateway solving and how is that benefiting you?

AWS first didn't provide SFTP, and then they priced it crazy high. SFTP gateway solved both those problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SFTP Gateway solving and how is that benefiting you?

For our customers (many of them) who do not like to interact with AWS S3, that is the solution for us with the cloud connection to AWS Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SFTP Gateway?

Their out of the box setup with cloudformation templates on AWS made it a breeze to get up and running quick Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SFTP Gateway?

Had minor issues with setting up certs but that was more an error on my part and their support team quickly helped me resolve it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SFTP Gateway solving and how is that benefiting you?
