What do you like best about Sequence?

We have 50+ usage-based products, so being able to send accurate invoices for our custom contracts was very important. With Sequence, we can easily send a personalized quote, have it signed, and begin billing automatically, which saves us hundreds of hours each year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sequence?

We had some unique needs for our usage based products that weren't supported at first, but the Sequence team was very quick to hear our feedback and ship the feature we needed and I'm looking forward to what's coming in the next few months! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sequence solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sequence is helping us scale our quote to cash process. Before Sequence, it was customers were often confused by quotes and it was difficult to create invoices based on usage for dozens of products that each has different pricing. What do you like best about Sequence?

What do you like best about Sequence?

Billing against complex pricing models was important to us, so Sequence’s ability to handle even the most complicated pricing situations made it our top choice. What do you like best about Sequence?

The flexibility of the Sequence billing module has enabled us to automate our entire revenue collection workflow for our complex usage-based pricing model and bespoke deals.

What do you dislike about Sequence?

From the product point of view the core functionality around billing is fantastic, but we need deeper integration to allow smooth automation from quote through to billing and reporting and truely reduce the time and effort spent across the business on billing.

As a business, the customer support during onboarding and ongoing has been fantastic! Any of our questions have been resolved quickly by the Sequence team. Shipping velocity of new features since we signed has also continued to be impressive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sequence solving and how is that benefiting you?

Keeping track of deal terms for each customer was previously difficult and often led to errors, but with Sequence we’re able to be sure we’re billing correctly against our custom contracts, leading to time saved and reduced revenue leakage.

Our complex pricing plan resulted in us initially tacking billing in-house, but even then there were always exceptions outside of what our solution could support. This was consuming both Finance time and engineering capacity that wasn't adding value to our business. The simplicity of creating and managing usage-based pricing plans in Sequence has meant that we have been able to reallocate all of that capacity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sequence has removed the need for us to make a dedicated accounts receivable hire. They are accurately automating invoicing for contracts,, which include usage-based pricing, parent-child billing, minimums, and discounts. What do you like best about Sequence?

We really like the flexible UI and billing engine, which stood out compared to the legacy systems we had tried before. The no-code dashboard and modern design make it so much easier to adjust pricing for our custom contracts. The team provided excellent support during onboarding, and since switching to Sequence, we've saved 28 hours on our monthly billing runs—down from 30 originally. What do you like best about Sequence?

Our team switched over to Sequence to manage our billing and invoicing after being with another vendor, and found that Sequence was better suited to our pricing model. What really stood out to us was how well it can handle all of our custom contracts across the business. We’ve also really appreciated how supportive the Sequence team has been. What do you like best about Sequence?

They've provided us with a straightforward way to setup our various pricing plans in an invoicing tool. The way that they setup pricing means we have a lot of flexibility with how we price for each of our customers (eg. flat monthly fees, prices per transactions, % fees, capped fees).

It's easy to review invoices before sending them out or to bulk send once they've been reviewed.

Integration with Xero means that we can keep track of what has been paid and what hasn't, and this information automatically marks invoices in Sequence as paid/unpaid.

Automatic chaser emails go out for unpaid invoices which is useful.

Sequence has been very open to feedback, and features that we've wanted have generally been quick to materialise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
