**What do you like best about Sequence?**

The flexibility has been the main benefit for us. We’ve been able to configure different pricing models and contract terms without workarounds, and adjust things as the business changes. The CPQ side integrates cleanly with Attio for sales, while Stripe and Xero handle payments and accounting on the back end.

**What do you dislike about Sequence?**

Nothing major, we've implemented a good feedback loop with the Sequence team and they've been very receptive so far. It’s been a smooth experience, and we’re excited to see the team keep improving the product.

**What do you like best about Sequence?**

The biggest surprise was how fast we got live. Setup was straightforward, the configuration was intuitive, and there was no long or painful implementation phase. We were up and running quickly with quoting, billing, and payments flowing through Sequence, and Stripe and Xero connected on the finance side. It felt very practical to roll out.

**What do you dislike about Sequence?**

Nothing significant so far. We’ve shared a few small quality-of-life suggestions, and it’s been good to see the team actually listen and act on them.

We were looking to remove manual billing work without taking on a heavy implementation project. Sequence let us do that quickly, and as a result the team is spending far less time on billing operations now.

**What do you like best about Sequence?**

What stands out most about Sequence is how easy it is to actually use. The interface is clean and intuitive, nothing feels overcomplicated or buried in menus. We can jump in and find what we need without having to dig through a bunch of confusing navigation. It just works the way you'd expect it to. Plus, their support team is genuinely responsive when we have questions or run into issues. They actually show up and help us get things sorted quickly. And beyond that, their team provided hands-on help with our deployment, migration, and integration with our CRM and accounting tools, so everything flows together seamlessly without friction.

**What do you dislike about Sequence?**

We've encountered some bugs and there are features we wish existed. However, their team takes these issues seriously and moves quickly on fixes.

Sequence serves as a centralized platform for quotes, subscriptions, and invoicing. It's become our central source of data for revenue calculation, which keeps everything aligned across our finance and operations teams. Beyond what we're using today, we're planning to implement usage-based billing in the future, and having that foundation in place now means we won't need to overhaul our systems when we make that shift.

Sequence has made our quoting to billing process much smoother. Our sales team can generate quotes quickly, as everything is based on a shared product catalog and quote templates. That’s improved consistency and reduced back-and-forth between sales, finance, and operations. We reviewed a few modern billing platforms during our search, but Sequence stood out for how straightforward the product felt and how engaged the team was both throughout onboarding and during the short implementation period.

We were able to get live quickly and start using the product almost immediately. The Sequence team moves fast, listens closely to feedback, and treats the relationship more like a partnership than a typical vendor setup. Our sales team is using the CPQ to close deals, and on the backend is a flexible billing system ideal for a wide variety of product and pricing structures.

**What do you like best about Sequence?**

The platform is very easy to use. We can configure complex pricing scenarios without any technical help. I find the schedule attachments feature to be really useful - with a growing number of large, long and complex deals, having all our agreements stored with the billing details creates a nice source of truth. The whole system makes managing billing and invoicing much simpler. Sequence's customer support is also top notch — we've been shown a level of care that is yet to be matched in almost all of our other vendor arrangements.

Small QOL requests, but otherwise really enjoying using the platform.

We used to rely on spreadsheets, reminders and manually issue invoices, which was completely unscalable as we continued growing. In several instances, we'd forgotten to bill customers, which was becoming a real concern. Sequence automated our billing process, so that invoices can be sent out automatically based on the contract terms set, syncs to Xero, and ensures we never miss a billing cycle.

We've been using Sequence for over a year now and it's been fantastic. The usage-based billing handles our tiered pricing perfectly without needing any engineering support. The bulk actions with progress tracking make our monthly billing runs smooth, and the new usage calculation modes give us exactly the flexibility we need. Everything syncs seamlessly with Xero, and Stripe handles payments automatically. The platform just works without us having to think about it.

The Sequence platform is very sleek and easy to use. In particular, the Stripe integration is pretty seamless (retrying failed payments, selectively auto-charge customers etc). Implementation was also quick and straightforward, and the UI makes complex billing scenarios feel very simple.

Stripe Billing felt too rigid and limited for our growing business. My company was scaling quickly and our old billing process would not hold up. With Sequence I've been able to rapidly operationalize our AR workflows. Their team was fantastic and onboarded our complex contract structures into the platform quickly and easily with the help of their schedules functionality. Additionally their team is very responsive and handles any issues within the day. I'm in the tool daily as it easily integrates with our GL and CRM. Finally their functionality allowed us to unlock a significant amount of revenue that went un-captured in our previous system.

I don't have a bad thing to say about Sequence, my experience with the team has been amazing.

Sequence is building the tool for quote to cash management. This vertical has been left relatively underserved compared to AP. Sequence is thinking about the complexity of billing and building features that support it. I trust that our billing is more accurate and on time using Sequence. Additionally, their roadmap is promising to further accelerate all of our AR workflows.

Since implementing Sequence Billing, our invoicing process has become significantly more streamlined and efficient. The tool has greatly reduced the amount of manual work previously required, allowing our team to save time and minimize errors.
The intuitive interface and automation features make it easy to manage recurring billing cycles and maintain clear oversight of customer invoicing. We are using it for a short period of time now, but we already see it will  become a valuable part of our finance operations.

We have multiple seat-based products and often offer pricing ramps and trials, so being able to easily send custom quote with our branding, receive the customer's signature, and automatically send fully accurate invoices has made life much easier for my team and reduced our revenue leakage

While we initially needed hand-on assistance to get up and running on Sequence, the team was always very responsive to our questions and very helpful. They've also listened to our feedback, so looking forward to seeing what they ship this year!

Sequence manages the complete quote to revenue workflow for our highly customized and complex, seat-based contracts. It used to be very difficult to capture seat upgrades and downgrades during a customer's contract, but now invoices are generated automatically based on the usage data Sequence ingests from us. As a plus, our prospects love the aesthetic, branded order forms have found it very easy to sign the quotes, which has reduced our deal close times recently

The quoting module is another highlight: it’s intuitive, quick to implement, and allows our sales team to build professional, branded proposals in just minutes, which then flow directly into automated billing subscriptions. Between the depth of features, the ease of integration with our existing systems, and how frequently we rely on it day-to-day, Sequence has truly streamlined a critical part of our business.

Honestly, there’s very little to critique. Our engineering team conducted extensive testing before we moved forward, so we had full confidence in the platform’s capabilities. Since implementation, the Sequence team has been outstanding in their support,  even fast-tracking feature requests that have saved us additional time each week. From ease of use to customer responsiveness, Sequence has exceeded our expectations across the board.

Sequence has completely transformed our quote-to-cash process. Before, we were relying on a patchwork of disconnected systems sending quotes manually, calculating usage-based pricing line by line, and building invoices by hand. It was time-consuming, error-prone, and pulled our team away from higher-value work. With Sequence, quoting, billing, and invoicing are now fully automated and integrated into a single platform. It’s easy to use, eliminates the risk of billing errors, and has significantly reduced the time we spend on collections. **What do you like best about Sequence?**

The Sequence team has built a great product that does what they say it will do. Our ability to schedule billing for a variety of complex agreements and then easily sync customer usage is a huge win. Having the quote built directly in the billing product has worked well for us. They were very hands on in the migration from our previous system.

**What do you dislike about Sequence?**

Since it is a pretty new product, there are some basic quality of life features that haven't been built yet that more mature products have. Thankfully their development pace seems quick and they are extremely responsive to feedback. We've had features released only a few weeks after requesting them.

We have 50+ usage-based products, so being able to send accurate invoices for our custom contracts was very important. With Sequence, we can easily send a personalized quote, have it signed, and begin billing automatically, which saves us hundreds of hours each year.

We had some unique needs for our usage based products that weren't supported at first, but the Sequence team was very quick to hear our feedback and ship the feature we needed and I'm looking forward to what's coming in the next few months!

Sequence is helping us scale our quote to cash process. Before Sequence, it was customers were often confused by quotes and it was difficult to create invoices based on usage for dozens of products that each has different pricing. Now we can create custom order forms for each customer in a just a couple minutes and know that the invoices generated are accurate.

We're constantly exploring different pricing models as we grow, so finding a billing provider that could support anything we throw at it was crucial. We can handle everything through Sequence - usage-based, flat fees, percentage pricing, minimum commitments etc. The QuickBooks integration is great, with item syncing and account code mapping that keeps our books organized.

The duplicating schedules process, that can only be doing one by one. It would be good to select more than one client when duplicating a schedule.

Being able to automatically send accurate invoices for our custom contracts was very important because have dozens of usage-based products. My sales team appreciates the simple process to send a branded quote and our customers love the simple signature workflow.

Sequence has grown so much since we initially signed, and nothing to dislike comes to mind. The team has always been very open to feedback on what would improve our experience and has shipped features for us. I’m really looking forward to seeing what’s next on their roadmap.

Sequence manages our end to end quoting, billing, and invoicing process. We used to have to send quotes, get them signed in a different platform, then try to set up a messy Stripe Billing subscription and calculate usage for each invoice externally. Billing is now fully automated for our custom, usage-based contracts because Sequence ingests our usage data that’s used to generate invoices, eliminating the risk of errors from the manual calculations we were previously doing.

The platform is very easy to use, and creating billing schedules is really simple, which automatically generates accurate invoices for all of our custom contracts.

**What do you dislike about Sequence?**

From the product point of view the core functionality around billing is fantastic, but we need deeper integration to allow smooth automation from quote through to billing and reporting and truely reduce the time and effort spent across the business on billing.

As a business, the customer support during onboarding and ongoing has been fantastic! Any of our questions have been resolved quickly by the Sequence team. Shipping velocity of new features since we signed has also continued to be impressive.

Keeping track of deal terms for each customer was previously difficult and often led to errors, but with Sequence we’re able to be sure we’re billing correctly against our custom contracts, leading to time saved and reduced revenue leakage.

Our complex pricing plan resulted in us initially tacking billing in-house, but even then there were always exceptions outside of what our solution could support. This was consuming both Finance time and engineering capacity that wasn't adding value to our business. The simplicity of creating and managing usage-based pricing plans in Sequence has meant that we have been able to reallocate all of that capacity.

Having a dedicated implementations manager and engineering DRI for support has helped us to onboard in one month.

They've provided us with a straightforward way to setup our various pricing plans in an invoicing tool. The way that they setup pricing means we have a lot of flexibility with how we price for each of our customers (eg. flat monthly fees, prices per transactions, % fees, capped fees).
It's easy to review invoices before sending them out or to bulk send once they've been reviewed.
Integration with Xero means that we can keep track of what has been paid and what hasn't, and this information automatically marks invoices in Sequence as paid/unpaid.
Automatic chaser emails go out for unpaid invoices which is useful.
Sequence has been very open to feedback, and features that we've wanted have generally been quick to materialise.

Any of the issues we have encountered have been addressed by the Sequence team very quickly. They're very open to feedback and quick to improve the product based on the use cases that we have come across.

The UI and finance dashboard is extremely nice to use. We looked at many billing players but found them to be quite complicated and not well suited to our referral pricing model. The Sequence team were very hands on with making sure we had all of the support we needed, but once we got into the product there was very little guidance needed - the workflow from contract to invoice extremely smooth.

Nothing yet, very happy with the product flow and continued customer support offered by Sequence, eager to see what else is shipped over the coming months. We've heard some things about revrec and advanced reporting which will be very useful to us.

The speed at which the Sequence team ships new features to the platform. Since we onboarded in 2022, we have seen Sequence transform into a best-in-class revenue collection platform. We also greatly appreciated the quick action on many small features we requested throughout our journey. We committed to a 3-year term following our first year as we want to ensure Sequence is vocal part of our growth journey at Konfir. It's very easy to get set up with and use to drive our billing cycles.

Sequence is a new platform and we have some complex edge cases that the system can't yet solve for. These are slightly beyond the scope of what the system was intended for. The team is always willing to work through these new use cases with us to find solutions, and are very transparent about their future roadmap.
