The thing I love most about Segment is the ability to track what events users are doing on your website. The data that can be tracked and what is output is amazing. As an analyst, the thing I dislike about Segment is 0 SSH tunneling offering for Redshift (at least at the tier that my company is on), this has us set up an external rds to recieve that data, which gives another barriar of access to those who need to troubleshoot the data. I enjoy the functionality of what it provides when haveing to connect multiple systems. It is easy to use for gaining weekly diagnostic data on what is being routed through the system. We reled heavily when implimenting Segment on their support team to ensure that everything was implimented smoothly. I have been using this application and by far this proves to be a wonder. The best about this is that it can collect data from so many sources whether it be website or marketing campaigns etc. it also helps clean the messy data and transform it into the usable ones.
