Rydoo is very easy to use and has a very simple user interface.
Uploading the expanse on rydoo is very easy and no prior training required to use rydoo.
In my current organization, Ramboll, we use Rydoo to get reimbursement for internet and business trip expenses.
To upload a bill, we need to scan and upload the invoice; it automatically fetch data from the scanned bill. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
NO dislikes about Rydoo.
It is perfect and easy to use with a simple user interface. Anybody can use it to manage all the business expenses and get reimburse from the comany. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Rydoo had problems early-on, such as assuming sales tax would be the same throughout the US and not understanding that sales tax and VAT aren't exactly the same. I worked with their product team when they were a small company and, over time, they sorted out the problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Six years and some change later, I've been keeping all of my small business expense records in Rydoo. It's just me, perhaps a handful of receipts per week. My Rydoo costs doubled from $40 per year to $80 per year from 2016 to 2022. This year, they're increasing the cost to $120 per year and requiring me to pay for five subscriptions (paid in advance), an increase from $80 to $600. I'll be moving my data away from Rydoo - a 15x increase in costs isn't the behavior that I expect from a stable business partner, and I'd caution others to beware. First of all, I use the Rydoo app to take photos of all my receipts and gather the electronic ones then upload them all at once. I like the clean interface and I like that there are different ways to create an expense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the mobile app does not sync properly, but I have noticed significant improvements over the last 6 months so I'm confident this is being worked on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having previously come from an organisation with a very manual 'spreadsheets/PDF/email thread' method, Rydoo has been a breath of fresh air. Paying for something on the go... just snap a photo of the receipt and it automatically gets logged. Booking a train on your laptop, just drag and drop the PDF confirmation into the website. At the end of the week, I give everything a quick once over, and submit! I can even track the progress of being approved/paid so I know when I can expect my reimbursements to arrive. In general, really happy with the product, there's nothing to dislike. The only flaw in the process is the occasional need to chase a line manger/finance team to approve payments butthat's a human problem. At least the UI tells me where my claim is 'stuck' so I know who to chase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The system is straightforward to use for staff members; they can download the app onto their phone and update expenses as they go along.
The system is also straightforward to administrate; we have linked our company business cards to the system so expenses are automatically listed and matched to invoices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They recently released an update to their system where staff must now click 'submit' before the expenses can be harvested. For us there was no benefit to the change, it just resulted in an additional step before we could complete the expenses for the month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Capturing receipts and uploading them into the app is very simple and straightforward. This is the software that can manage all the expenses of the employees in the organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it takes time to scan. Otherwise experience is good for now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease of receipt capture, ease of submission of receipts and mileage calculator, clean & fresh UI. The receipts@rydoo.com email address and its auto processing of digital receipts and the vendor. It shows your most recently used categories to speed up the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Small things. When I use autocorrect/predictive-spelling, it doesn't add a space to type the next word so I can't use the predictive text to type sentences quickly and I'm a slow typer as is! Maybe its my company but the approval process is not so transparent for the end user, when you hit submit it says, controlled, I'd much prefer approval 1 of 3/4 etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Rydoo is super easy to use, sleek and something mind-blowing for me. This is the first app that I use with such a smart Ai reading the receipt very accurately, with less fuss and a pretty comprehensive choice of tax rates and category. I also like the audit trail for the whole submission. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the app naming is sometimes misleading because there are 4 stages of the claims. The dashboard shows (to submit > waiting for approval > waiting to be controlled > waiting to be reported) while each line item and on each expenses audit trail shows a similar word which can be confusing for non finance/accounting people. Rydoo is SAAS and therefore platform independent. That's how I use it on my notebook in the browser and on smartphones. I like the relyable OCR feature and the process flow to claim expenses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What could be better is to implement tooltips, eg for the status of an expense. I am using it since 1.5 years but still don't really know what which status means. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that I can add things in CAD but get paid out in my Euro account for when I'm traveling. I was really nervous to pay so much out of pocket when I moved to Europe but Rydoo made it very easy to add my receipts, and even scans them for me so I don't need to waste time filling in information. I had my account or page reset a few times, so ive lost all my past receipt info. Not a big deal but I like to have all my things saved in one spot, just incase i ever need it again Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
