"A comprehensive platform with minor technology annoyances"
3.5/5
What do you like best about RocketDocs?

RocketDocs is incredibly helpful for our RFP process. I am able to save all past responses, categorize each question to a certain area of our business, and indicate when each question will need a legal review. Our RocketDocs account representative regularly checks in, so we feel supported with any change in our organizational needs or platform functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RocketDocs?

My primary frustration with RocketDocs is that each question needs to be uploaded manually, one by one. I would prefer to be able to upload an entire word document and then separate each section or question and assign it to its respective area of our business. Additionally, there are often times issues with RocketDocs and our internal computer software when it comes to viewing past responses on my local computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Service/Platform"
5/5
What do you like best about RocketDocs?

It is able to house all of our RFP data and the client servicing has been great. The upload to the newplatform has also been pretty seamless and when we have had issues with the upload, the team was great to reach for help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RocketDocs?

Nothing so far -- I am not an everday user but have walked through the new platform usage and found it to be user friendly. I guess the only thing being the attachments of tables or pictures where it needs to be manually inserted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"RocketDocs RFP Software"
3.5/5
What do you like best about RocketDocs?

Really great for collecting and storing responses for submissions for RFPs. The tool does a great job cataloging content and reducing level of effort to submit new RFPs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RocketDocs?

I wish the tool had broader applicability besides RFP management (we haven't found another great use-cases for it in our organization). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"RocketDocs Review"
4/5
What do you like best about RocketDocs?

I like that we can manage all of our RFP content in a library. The search and filtering features are great and easy to use. We have looked at other competitors and RocketDocs is the most cost effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RocketDocs?

Over the past year and a half, we have had several issues with our content in RocketDocs - formatting issues, styles, etc. Things seemed to be resolved at this point but it did cause us a lot of headaches and re-work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Historically has been a good product for our needs."
3/5
What do you like best about RocketDocs?

We have a simple product and have used RocketDocs (f/k/a PMAPS) for over 10 years. The product has always worked well for our simple search needs. We're able to search by keywords and conduct quick filters to find the pieces we need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RocketDocs?

Recently RocketDocs went through some "upgrades" that left us unable to use the product for some time (search functionality was not working properly) and caused a lot of headaches with formatting. The product also changed from being able to insert a selected piece into your Word document with a simple click. Now, you must download the piece, open the downloaded Word document, and copy and then paste into your other working document. A LOT of steps now. I understand they have other solutions within the product to help with this new change. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thanks so much for taking the time to review RocketDocs and we apologize that you've been having difficulty with the platform!

It seems that you may be on our older legacy platform which recently had some upgrades to increase security and to be able to navigate recent Microsoft Office updates.

Our latest platform, RocketDocs 2.0, has new efficiencies and ways to save time while still letting you work directly in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Feel free to reach out to your customer success manager for a hand in migrating, as we'd love to help you and your team get back to saving time!

"Useful Tool for RFPs"
4/5
What do you like best about RocketDocs?

RocketDocs is one of the leading content management tools. Our company primarily uses it for RFPs. I like how it is easy to search exact questions or topics using quotations or search broad topics within the platform. It is easy to categorize the information and the system allows you to set up a review schedule to ensure information stays up-to-date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RocketDocs?

My primary frustration with the RocketDocs platform is how information is input. In order to not have an overwhelming amount of content within one document, I have to enter each question from an RFP individually, which takes a great deal of time. It would be great to upload the entire RFP document then section it by question within RocketDocs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use, straightforward content management system"
4.5/5
What do you like best about RocketDocs?

Search functionality and filters; easy to navigate; freeform tags and customization of attributes; audit trail. I used a different system in the past and feel that RocketDocs excels in many ways, mainly in content management. RocketDocs customer service is very helpful and responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RocketDocs?

Adding new records can be cumbersome. Would also like an enhancement to automatically insert language from other records into another and the ability to add notes to multiple records at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Michaela Fallon of RocketDocs

Thanks so much for taking the time to review RocketDocs - we're so glad that you're finding our content management tool to be valuable!

"Smooth transition to new platform, CS team made things easy for us."
4/5
What do you like best about RocketDocs?

I really like the UI, it's really clean and easy to navigate! Great job on this! Huge upgrade compared to Responsefull, in my view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RocketDocs?

I wish I didn't have to go to the Project/Content settings page all the time whenever I'm editing a content/project record. Old Responsefull had the option to add new sections when I was editing content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Michaela Fallon of RocketDocs

Thanks so much for taking the time to review RocketDocs - we're so glad that you're enjoying the new platform!

"Easy to use and comprehensive RFP database and proposal management system."
5/5
What do you like best about RocketDocs?

After over 20 years of using different RFP database management systems, I am impressed with the usability and ease of organization in the system. The speed with which my team can locate and update responses is impressive. RocketDocs also seems to be in a period of time where they are introducing new features quickly that extend the functionality. Examples include consistent improvements to reporting and administration aspects. We are a large organization pushing past 1,000 records, and the Libraries and Taxonomy structure (including freeform tags) are beneficial with data management.

Some RFP teams may find great benefits from their RapidDocs feature. Ask them to demo for you. It automates commonly used information into templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RocketDocs?

As the system is in a period of impressive growth, many of the negatives that may have been present once are being quickly replaced with positives. The company is very responsive to user input and feedback. We find them quite open in communicating where they see future improvements - and then acting upon them quickly. There is nothing that we need the system to do that it does not do. And we are likely not using every aspect of the system - so we have room to grow as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
