We do love the system when every feature is working properly. The connection to our POS system, the spread transaction feature, the bank reconciliation feature and automatic intercompany posting are the reasons we chose R365. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Every week we have another issue with a feature that was working and now does not. Consistency and reliability are lacking significantly. As examples, the AP aging one day did not have credit memos listed and on another day checks written were showing up as credits to the aging, another day there were no dates on the invoices to determine if they were ready to pay. Another example the bank rule feature was updated and all the bank rules that had been created were no longer valid and we had to set them up again. This past week the Deposit amount is no longer polling properly for some of our stores. Inventory unit of measures do not populate correctly when entering invoices. Last month stock counts did not tie to the prior month for an unknown reason. The list goes on and on since we went live in December 2018. Overall we are disappointed with the software reliability.
We strongly dislike the mandatory email customer service process. It takes up to 24 hours for a response and then most times they don't understand the issues. If you call to speak to someone they are never available and you must leave a message and create a support ticket. It has been very frustrating when there are deadlines to meet and you must wait on an email. Most times the answer has been "it's been sent to the developers". That has taken anywhere from a week to several weeks for completion. The basics of the system that Accountants rely on just do not work properly on a daily basis. Eventually, it gets corrected but in the meantime there is a business to run and reliability of data is extremely important to the success of our organization. R365 falls short in this area. I love this product because it has SO many functions to link into your regular restaurant operations. Inputting all of the costs for each recipe in our establishment and then linking it to the correct menu item buttons through the POS system accurately figures in food & liquor costs, manages the Accounts Payable that came through, and tons of cost reports, management reports, AP reports, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a little time consuming for set up and you can easily affect your inventory if everyone inputting the data entry stuff doesn't stay consistent with each other. You'll want to be extra careful to use the same Vendor Purchase Items, as well as how you enter the recipes into the costing sections. The upsides are it has automated a lot of our processes and makes it easier to keep track of every piece financially and operationally in the restaurant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a lot of things that I feel like I am repetitively doing. I.e adding new employees/user accounts, new vendor item/new purchased item, new menu item/new recipe. It is not as automated as I would prefer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ctuit works great for scheduling for a food service location. We are able to schedule all together and then employees are able to see their individual schedule. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
