What do you like best about Restaurant365?

one of the few tech platforms restaurants/food businesses can use to fully integrate their accounting with inventory mgmt and recipe costing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Restaurant365?

it seems like after compeat was turned into Restaurant 365 they are pushing for more customers and their sales team are overpromising the benefits of this program to anyone and everyone that will listen without doing due diligence and making sure it's the right fit. As a small business, I felt manipulated and swindled the entire onboarding process. I was told they integrate with square online when in fact they do not and they spent 4 months pretending to fix it behind my back to no avail. They are adamant in not giving refunds under no circumstances which speaks to the poor and untransparent customer service they provide. They throw 1,000 people at your disposal to answer the smallest questions but are not capable to providing an umbrella solution. Customer service is like speaking to bots, and they heavily rely on the power of what used to be a great software but is now competing with other platofrms that have better customer service, better user design, and better overall customer experience. I'm completely disappointed in R365 because I used to be a Compeat user, and there are very little solutions in the marketplace (another thing they rely on). What do you like best about Restaurant365?

The inter-connectivity and flow of data. Our team really appreciates have a single system to log on for all things accounting and operations. We are excited that R365 is growing and can one day consolidate other pieces of our business (HR & Payroll, Scheduling, Reporting, etc.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Restaurant365?

The customization of the system is hard to come by. There are several times where we have wanted to tweak the software to how we do business and operate but the dev team or support tells us it simply cannot be done. Its a hard balance to strike but more flexibility in the system would be preferred. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Restaurant365 solving and how is that benefiting you?

Integration between the accounting software and POS has been the biggest problem solver and time saver. We also have seen increased production with the operations team as they are able to get real time data and more accurate, reliable costing information out of the system then they have had in the past. What do you like best about Restaurant365?

First and foremost, R365 is browser-based. Coming from another company that was a program and had to be installed on each individual PC in order to login and use, Restaurant 365 being browser-based allows us to easily login from anywhere you are, including mobile. In addition to that, R365 is extremely easy to use as a back-end user. From linking items on invoices across our entire brand with just a few clicks, to the clarity into different food cost struggles, to quickly being able to see discrepencies in inventory and where the issues were made. R365 has helped lower our overall food costs by giving us the tool we needed to review each and every cost in an efficient manner. Their implimentation was great, we had many months with a dedicated rep, hosted weekly calls for training. Their team is very knowledgable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Restaurant365?

Some of the reports don't always align, as some of them as operational reports while others are fiscal/accounting-based reports, and it wasn't super clear as far as to why numbers didn't match sometimes from one report to another. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Restaurant365?

I like how easily it integrates with our POS (Toast) and provides both real and theoretical inventory counts, accurate food costs, and reporting tools that make periodic menu reviews a cinch. What do you like best about Restaurant365?

I really enjoy the accounting features that make life a little easier. Love the mobile app. There are a few things that need fixed but th egg are constantly developing so you have to be patient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The inventory needs to be completed and a bit more user friendly. Same with the recipes, we had to use a 3rd party to import our recipes because of the complexity in R365. I like it's cloud based and can be worked on wherever you have internet. Seems very stable. Customer support is fairly responsive. It integrates store data reports into accounting numbers accurately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can't automatically download banking data. One of our stores has a 2 day lag on polling data that can't be corrected.
