What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

We purchased Responsive for our proposal team and sales team in 2023. This platform has cut the time we spend on proposals in half. In addition to making the proposal process more efficient, responsive has helped our sales team tremendously. Our sales team is able to access the content library from their email with an integration. The answer can be copied and pasted with ease into the email. This has saved so much time. There is no more searching Google Docs for the correct response to customer questions.

Our team has taken the time to build out our content library. Each component of the library is reviewed. All of our SMEs and Sales Team members can see the date of the last review and the date of the upcoming review. This allows all members of our times to be confident that the information being shared is up-to-date. We love the review features that Responsive offers!

We tested Responsive thoroughly before purchase. The sales and support teams were attentive during the process. Our sales rep and sales engineer met with us 2-3 times weekly to address any questions and guide us through our testing process. This extensive testing period and support made us confident in our decision to adopt responsive as the platform of choice for our proposals team.

After purchase, the onboarding for Responsive was comprehensive. We met with an implementation specialist a few times to discuss the content library, project management, and personalized templates. My team was properly prepared to use the Responsive platform. In addition to the onboarding days, Responsive also hosts monthly webinars highlighting features of the platform. We never fail to learn something.

The customer service is top-notch. If you have a question, you can communicate with support through email or chat; you can look up your issue in the help center; you can get deeper into your issue with the Responsive Academy; or you can go to the community for help from current users.

I highly recommend the Responsive platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

Responsive is critical to my role as a Senior Proposal Manager. I use it daily. It seemlessly enables collaboration, project management, and a powerful content library to be leveraged in the development of responses to RFX's. It is a force-multiplier for managing multiple RFX's of widely varying depth and breadth.

The tool is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive, so it is easy to implement with colleagues who are unfamiliar with Responsive. If you need help figuring out a capability/skill/function/etc., there is an easily accessible and digestible learning platform that can give you the knowledge you need to succeed. Even beyond that, their customer support and assistance is unmatched! They have always been willing to jump on a call with me and share screens for troubleshooting or explanations, and they consistently follow up to ensure that your issue has been adequately resolved.

I sincerely hope that the entire team at Responsive is exceedingly proud of what they've built and what they do. I am blown away by the excellence of this tool and the people behind it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

I would appreciate some integration with Outlook and/or Teams to facilitate whole-team email communication and scheduling meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?

The ease with which it enables and facilitates collaboration, task assignments, project management, resource management; organization, knowledge retention/transfer, and scheduling/timeline management is amazing. It is also intuitive, so my colleagues and I can focus on content and delivering high-quality responses without the arduous endeavor of the aforementioned aspects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eddy Brotemarkle of Responsive, formerly RFPIO

Thank you for this Jay. We love it when our users are in it daily. That's when they can garner the best results. While you are blown away by the experience of this tool, we are blown away by this review.

What do you like best about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

The platform has helped me and my team complete RFP documents more efficiently. The response suggestions make it easier to find information from our previous responses and answer the RFP questions in much less time. We use it every time we have a new RFP or RFI to fill out and we've been building a better database of responses that helps with each submission. Having access to the platform was also really easy, I just contacted our admin and after adding me, I received an email with access instructions which were easy to follow. I have not needed to contact Customer Support yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

What could be improved is the User Experience since the UI is complicated with lots of information and buttons. For a new user, this makes the learning curve a bit long. Also, I have been using the tagging system for our responses and there is no easy way to tag responses in bulk so you have to tag them one by one which can be time consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Responsive, formerly RFPIO solving and how is that benefiting you?

Individuals working on RFP documents possess a lot of information. Before we implemented RFPIO, we needed those individuals to make time to work on RFP documents. Now, we can learn from previous responses, and the information can be shared and distributed across the team and is not only kept with one individual. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eddy Brotemarkle of Responsive, formerly RFPIO

Thank you! Completing RFP documents more efficiently is definitely a big strong suit for us! If you'd like some tips and tricks about the user experience and UI, I'd reach out to your CSM and they can walk you through steps to help make the experience even better for you.

What do you dislike about Responsive, formerly RFPIO?

Responsive has some growing pains and seems as a company wanting to create features before perfecting others. For example, the reps are pushing the AI features of Responsive, but the ability to customize basic features like emails and custom fields remain in their infancy.
