I really like the visual and easy way to make assignments with Resource Guru. You have a quick overview of the occupation of your resources and you can modify them in a simple, intuitive way, without complicated commands. Drag and drop is the best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be interesting to have a way of defining rules so that, when extending an allocation, weekends are not taken into account, while at the same time being able to assign non-working days annually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Would be better if able to set different target hours per employee instead of fixed 8 hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

would like to see better reporting, more advanced reports
the pricing model is suitable for small companies, it gets pretty expensive for companies needing to manage 100+ resources Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing! The customer service is amazing and it's an amazing resource Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Resource Guru (RG) provides a simple and intuitive UI for managing team schedules. It’s easy to set up and has simple web calendar integrations to allow the team to see their calendars elsewhere. It has a a flexible resource (people/cars/rooms etc) definition model, with custom attributes. The API framework provides good external access to complete most tasks. Flexible and simple reporting allows filtering on all the data within the environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Whilst the resource framework is flexible, the client and project are fixed, with no custom attributes at all at the moment. A client for example is limited to name, note and colour and projects are similar. It would be ideal to be able to add custom fields at these two level as well, to allow for additional project related information to be shared (such as maximum amount amount of time to be allocated and warning if we go over that.
The reporting is flexible, but limited security, it’s all or nothing, whereas we want to limit an individuals access to certain information. We use the API’s to pull the relevant information out and restrict access externally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The visuals and the ux - it’s so easy to use and quickly see everyone’s availability Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there were more color options for each client/project. It would be great if new projects automatically picked up the color of the client it’s assigned to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's easy to filter, check, approve, or change among projects. The new schedule area is intuitive and improved with changes such as available time elastic or even the interface.
Beyond new features, report area is easy to use and fast to get an overview of any project / resource. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The dashboard area can improve as well, there is room for improvements such filters, alerts, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
