Thanks for taking the time to share your review of Resource Guru :)

Currently, Each Resource, Project, and Client can be assigned a color. The ‘Color by’ setting allows you to view booking containers in the Schedule by the color of either the assigned project, client, or booker. If you edit the color of a resource, project or client the schedule should automatically be updated if the matching ‘Color by’ setting is selected: https://help.resourceguruapp.com/en/articles/2942102-using-colors

It's worth mentioning that we do have plans to introduce an "undo" option in the future. However, I’m afraid I can't provide an exact release date at this time. Currently, our team is focused on developing higher-priority features, so this functionality may not be available soon. What do you like best about Resource Guru?

Guru is clear and easy to use, no unnecessary clicking or entering data. Guru is stable and fast. Our team was very fast up and running. The filter to create insight in avaiability and projects work really well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Resource Guru?

I am not shure, or was not able, to connect our projects and user through our windows envoierment. But to be honnest, for me that not really an issue... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Resource Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?

The long-term planning that is now also transparent for employees. Employees can indicate and see for themselves if they have enough work in the long term to be able to steer on that. Our managers can quickly add resouces to there projects without hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Resource Guru?

We use Resource Guru for our planning of field work. It is easy to move projects if the client planning shifts. It is also easy to add and remove resources as required. Customer service also has been very quick to respond to our questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Such a great resource to be able to track workflow across a team, and report back on it too. I haven't personally contacted customer support but I know a colleague has and got their query answered swiftly. Whenever I've thought "I wish Resource Guru could do X", the functionality seems to be implented in the future! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi there

Thanks for sharing your review of Resource Guru! You mentioned that "all blocks need to be updated manually" and I wanted to make sure you were of multiple day bookings, multi-resource bookings, and repeat bookings? If you've created any of these types of bookings you can make a change which applies to all of the associated bookings.

For example, for a multiple day booking which runs from Wednesday-Tuesday, changes will be applied to each of the booked days (non-working days, such as the weekend, will always be skipped). If you've made a booking for multiple resources at once, you can edit that booking and the change will apply for all the booked resources. And if you're editing a repeat booking, you can choose whether the change applies just to the day you've clicked on, to all future bookings, or to all the bookings in the sequence.

You can use custom fields fields to store extra information about all of the work you allocate. :) This opens up new ways to categorize your bookings, communicate key details, and export and analyze custom data. For example, you can add booking Priority or Status, assign Job IDs, Rate codes any many more. What do you like best about Resource Guru?

I've used resource guru at a couple of different places of work now, and it's been a great tool for quick allocation of resources to work in a flexible and easy to use manner. We can devolve resource planning out without needing to invest a lot in training, support or infrastructure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Resource Guru?

Whilst the API capability has been easy for us to access and use, it has resulted in us getting 'too clever' and building all sorts of excel tools off RG. Whilst not the product's fault, it is better when being used for the purpose to which it is intended. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
