"Profound Supercharged Our Search Channel"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

I love the prompt tracking in Profound because it allows us to see the direct impact of our LLM efforts clearly and understand what LLMs are saying about our most important prompts. This helps us to know when to refresh our content to maintain visibility. I also appreciate that Profound is evolving constantly with new betas being added regularly, making it an industry leader and incredibly valuable for leveling up our content in the AI era. The workflow features look promising, and I can't wait to see what they can do for our content program. Their onboarding process was great, and I feel far less despair about being an SEO professional now. Profound is the real deal!

Profound is also very reasonably priced considering other options on the market require an upfront, year-long $100k commitment.

I came back to update this post because I recently went through Profound University. It was a total game changer. Profound was very useful before they released this 101 content, but when I first started using Profound, it kind of felt like a luxury car that was amazing to drive but had a few buttons and switches you didn't know what to do with. After going through Profound University, I feel like we're utilizing Profounds full potential. And we've used it to achieve AEO leadership in our industry.

Our onboarding and account manager have also been very helpful and prompt every time we have a question or request a meeting.

Our AEO citations and traffic have surged over 250% in the last few months and the conversions have followed. We couldn't be happier with our subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

I was overwhelmed by the platform's potential before I went through the Profound University 101 content. Now I feel like I'm optimizing Profound to the fullest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Profound Brings Clarity to GEO/AEO Visibility Across LLMs"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

Profound helped me gain clarity on how our brand is showing up in GEO/AEO/LLMs (there are a dozen names for it). It pulls in data from most LLMs, which makes it easier to understand what’s being surfaced and where.

It’s also really helpful to see how we compare against competitors. The best part is being able to act on the gaps directly within Profound. It suggests what content to write, which can improve our ranking/visibility, where to get backlinks from and so on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

Nothing significant to note at this point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Platform with Outstanding Support and Onboarding"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

What I appreciate most about Profound is how intuitive the platform feels once you’ve had a little time to get comfortable with it. As someone who’s still relatively new to AI tools, I did run into an initial learning curve, but our account representative has been incredibly supportive the whole way—quickly answering questions, addressing concerns, and making the onboarding process much smoother.

From a workflow standpoint, once I had a stronger grasp of the platform, I was able to adjust and refine existing agents so they better matched our specific business needs. After that, I joined Profound’s Pod 8 program, which really took my understanding to the next level. Through the pod, I learned how to build agents from scratch, and that has opened up even bigger opportunities to use Profound in a more meaningful and impactful way in my day-to-day work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

I wouldn’t say I have any strong dislikes about Profound. Most of the challenges I’ve run into feel more personal than platform-related. Since I’m still building my understanding of AI tools, my biggest frustration has been getting the AI assistant to produce the exact output I’m looking for. That said, I recognize this is less an issue with the platform itself and more about me continuing to learn how to write effective prompts and guide the assistant toward better results. As my prompt-writing improves, I expect this to become less of a challenge over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust and easy-to-use platform for AIO/GEO metrics"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

AIO/GEO is developing quickly and evolving fast. We tested a number of tools and found that Profound offers a robust, easy-to-use platform. Because these metrics are still new, they can be confusing at times, but Profound was the easiest for SEO teams to follow and understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

There’s really nothing to dislike, per se, aside from customer service—while thorough, it can feel less high-touch than some others. I think the Profound team is great; they just seem a bit spread thin at times. The upside is that the platform is easy enough to use that you don’t need as much high-touch support. Ultimately not a criticism, just a comment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Responsive Team, Intuitive UI, and Fast Feature Releases"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

In general, the responsiveness of Profound when discussing unique requirements, integrations, capabilities, etc. Related, a fast and consistent release of new features.

Intuitive UI/UX is easy to navigate, platform speed as I am rarely waiting for anything to load/be generated, and support has been exceptional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

Pricing. With the AEO/GEO space being relatively new, it is difficult to calculate ROI. Although trending up, we are seeing relatively low LLM traffic at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sleek, Intuitive Platform That Boosted Our Visibility Fast"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

I like that we can track progress, or the lack of it, across different keywords and themes. It also helps us understand which actions to take to improve visibility and sentiment. The UX is intuitive, and the platform looks sleek. We didn’t run into any issues integrating the features available on our plan, and we haven’t had any performance problems either. When we change the timeframe, the data updates instantly.

Onboarding was easy, and the team was attentive to our questions throughout. It’s definitely worth the price: after a month of consistent work, we improved our visibility beyond that of the competitors we’re also tracking. My colleague also likes their AI agents a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

There are a lot of tabs on their platform, which isn’t a bad thing in itself, because it provides an exhaustive coverage of all aspects. But from time to time, it can make it a little harder to find a specific piece of information. That said, it’s a really minor issue overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clear, Scalable AI Search Visibility Insights with Profound"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

Our experience with Profound highlighted the value of clear, scalable measurement for AI‑driven search visibility. The platform helped us understand how our brand shows up across major generative engines, turning AI discovery from an opaque concept into something measurable and actionable.

A key differentiator was Profound’s out‑of‑the‑box agentic capabilities, which accelerated insight generation and content optimization without requiring heavy custom development. These built‑in workflows supported a rapid optimization cycle, enabling teams to quickly test, learn, and ship improvements across categories at scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

Profound is a powerful platform, but it comes with a learning curve for teams that are new to AI-specific metrics and GEO concepts. Because the generative search space is evolving so quickly, some standards are still maturing and can feel a bit unsettled at times. Even so, the pace of innovation and the quality of support help balance that out as teams ramp up and get comfortable with the approach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Profound Delivers Fast, Clear Answer Engine Insights for a Strong Content Improvement Loop"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

As a B2B SaaS content manager, Profound gives me daily feedback and insights on how my content is performing with answer engines. I can see AI bot activity, AI referral visits, and where our company ranks across core topics and against competitors. I've never had access to this kind of data so clearly and so fast. Plus, based on Profound's recommendations, I can immediately update and publish content, optimized for answer engines. It's an amazing improvement loop.

My favorite feature is "Ask". I'm still learning the platform so if I don't understand something, the Ask chat is very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

The tool can be a little buggy. Sometimes I have to logout and log back into the platform to get items on the menu to work properly. So far, the "Opportunities" feature has not offered relevant suggestions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean, Reliable AI Search Visibility Insights for Brands and SEO Teams"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

Profound does something genuinely useful: it tells you how AI platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini talk about your brand or your clients' brands. For anyone doing SEO or content work, that visibility is becoming table stakes.

The UI is clean and intuitive. It doesn't take long to find what you're looking for, and the dashboards make it easy to spot trends without digging through raw data.

On integrations, it's still growing. Exporting data into other reporting tools takes some manual work, and connecting it to platforms like Whatagraph isn't seamless yet. That said, the data it produces is solid enough that the extra effort is usually worth it.

Performance is reliable. Queries run quickly and the sentiment and citation tracking feel accurate and consistent.

Pricing is on the higher end, but if you're managing multiple brands or clients, the ROI case is easy to make. For a single small brand, it might be harder to justify.

Support has been responsive and the onboarding is straightforward. You're not left figuring it out alone.

Overall, it's one of the more mature tools in the GEO space right now. If AI search visibility is part of your reporting or strategy, Profound earns its place in the stack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

The main friction point is integrations. Getting data out of Profound and into external reporting tools still requires more manual effort than it should. Native connectors to platforms like Whatagraph or Google Looker Studio would go a long way.

Pricing can also be a stretch for smaller teams or single brand use cases. The value is there, but the cost structure is better suited for agencies or larger operations.

Those are minor gripes for a tool that is still relatively new in a space that is evolving fast. More of a wishlist than a dealbreaker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
