I like that Profound can pull in all answers about specific queries or topics and shows us how the client shows up. The aggregator feature is valuable as it provides a better idea of the overall sentiment in AI search platforms and offers concrete opportunities to develop content around real queries for inclusion in AI search. The initial setup is fairly simple, and the Profound team has been very helpful in getting us set up and available for any questions.

I use Profound for AI search visibility for clients. I love everything about Profound, honestly. It takes all the guesswork out of figuring out what questions clients have. Claude works amazingly with Profound, and we've used the Profound MCP to create amazing reports within Claude using the Profound data customized to our clients' KPIs. I also found the setup very easy. They've really addressed any shortcomings I had, especially with the new helper for building agents. I just hope they keep shipping new features because I love it.

Honestly everything is great! Just keep shipping new features as things change!

Pricing. It was somewhat difficult for us to demonstrate the ROI in the short term.

Service brands like ours rely heavily on recommendations and thought leadership. Because of that, it’s imperative to perform with the same depth and rigor we apply to SEO, but this time in the context of LLMs. More and more people are forming their opinions based on comparative charts generated by Gemini or ChatGPT. Profound used real intelligence for our brand to help us tackle these AI challenges.

I really like Profound's simplicity. Whether it's the clarity of the data it provides or how easy the representatives are to interact with, it's incredibly user-friendly, intuitive, and reliable. The content generation feature is also a big plus for me. We're able to assess and target specific content easily, and it saves a lot of time, especially when bringing data into meetings or creating content to target new natural language.

**What do you like best about Profound?**

I like the unique approach Profound takes to develop prompt results. Most other tools lean into the API method of gathering results, but Profound uses a more authentic method, which seems to drive more insights and accuracy. Their approach provides deeper results that are more aligned with how potential customers are seeing chats with LLMs. This gives us greater accuracy for our tracking. I also appreciate having access to the API, which allows us to incorporate the research and insights within our other AI workflows. Their API provides unlimited calls, so we can perform more comprehensive reports within Claude that incorporate both SEO and GEO opportunities. The setup of Profound was relatively simple to get started and understand. Profound provides much greater depth across all features compared to the product we used before.

**What do you dislike about Profound?**

It's not a limitation of Profound per se, but we would prefer to track as many prompts as possible, but that would require a much bigger budget than what we currently have. I would love to see some industry benchmark comparisons that extend beyond the competitors that we track.

**What do you like best about Profound?**

One of the biggest developments since my original review is that Profound has increasingly become the gold standard for measuring AI visibility. The platform continues to move quickly, and the agents features in particular feel impactful and genuinely useful.

There are now many competitors trying to replicate parts of what Profound does, but it still feels clear that Profound is ahead of the pack. The pace of innovation is almost difficult to keep up with as a user, but that is also a sign of how quickly the product is evolving and how seriously the team is shaping this category.

**What do you dislike about Profound?**

One area for improvement would be easier in-platform analysis of the raw data. Currently, the experience sits at two ends of the spectrum: you either use the pre-built dashboard views, which are useful but fairly top-line, or you export the data and analyse the CSVs yourself.

A middle layer for more advanced users would be a valuable addition, allowing people to explore the data more flexibly, identify patterns, and go deeper without always needing to move into spreadsheets.

The biggest challenge it helps deal with is the monitoring and measurement of AI search performance, clients see this as an important area to monitor and Profound does provides insights and recommendations to navigate this new and to some extent unknown world of search experiences.

**What do you like best about Profound?**

Profound's biggest value is the insight it provides into prompt volumes and topic clusters and related query volume. This is invaluable in helping us guide our content / AEO strategy. Prior to using Profound we had virtually no tool for reliable visibility into this area. Additionally the AI "Ask" feature is incredibly easy to use. It very quickly analyzes volume data (amongst other key insights) to generate useful insights even with relatively complex queries. Our Engagement Manager Bipan has been incredibly valuable in helping our team understand how to maximize the the platform's value.

**What do you dislike about Profound?**

There is a bit of a steeper barrier to learning the platform vs. many other products I've used. The UI can also be a little overwhelming at first. It's not extreme, it just takes a bit more to really understand all the potential uses and value it offers. However, since we had really strong support from Bipan – our Engagement Manager, it made it much less daunting to onboard and start seeing value from the platform. The AI "Ask" feature while very helpful can also sometimes be a tad tricky, leading to you having to rethink your prompts.

**What problems is Profound solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem Profound helps us solve is providing real insight into LLM query volume, topic cluster volume as well as opportunities for queries to target to support our content / AEO strategy. Profound works quickly to show us what users are searching for in AI models, what queries competitors are capturing volume for, and where the topic gaps exist that we can target for our content strategy.

**What do you like best about Profound?**

I really like Profound's ease of use and the support they provide. They're constantly updating the platform, providing new integrations almost on a weekly basis. The user interface is amazing, though I reckon it may be overwhelming at first unless you are already familiar with all new metrics and layers within LLMs. I obviously love their Agents (workflows) builder, which I consider the best solution in the market after having tested every other service out there. Initially, building a workflow required advanced technical knowledge, but with their AI assistant, anyone can build really useful workflows using conversational language. Plus, they guide and support you throughout the whole setup process, which can take 1-2 months from scratch or 2-3 weeks if your data is well-organized. 

**What do you dislike about Profound?**

The API has some gaps for development when compared with the web ui.

I use Profound to track brand visibility, sentiment, citations, and to monitor traffic and conversions. It helps discover AI Search Visibility gaps, perform competitive intelligence, track AI citation sources, analyze brand reputation and sentiment, and understand AI bot and crawler behavior.

**What do you like best about Profound?**

One of the things I appreciate most about Profound is the overall user experience, including the dark mode interface. I am also a big fan of the platform's data visualizations, particularly within Keyword Lists > Keyword > Intent. Profound University is another standout feature. We had our entire company complete the training and certification, and it was an excellent way to build familiarity and confidence with the platform across teams.

**What do you dislike about Profound?**

Profound can feel somewhat complex and layered from a navigation standpoint, with several deep-click paths that may be challenging for less technical users. In my view, it is better suited to analyst-minded or tech-savvy teams, and less experienced brands using it without agency support may find the platform harder to navigate and setup effectively. The initial setup process was a little less intuitive than other tools we've used, and we didn't realize it would take 24-48 hours to get data which was a bit of a unexpected slowdown. The prompt volume tool feels somewhat misnamed, feeling more keyword focused. The available data for that tool also appears to stop at January 11, 2026. That limitation is definitely a drawback, given how quickly user behavior in this space can change.

I use Profound not only to track AI visibility across the prompts that matter to our brand and clients, but also to validate findings across other AEO tools and see how similar/different the data is. I feel it provides another layer of insight and verification as we evaluate performance in emerging AI search environments.

I really appreciate our engagement manager, Rachel Seipp; she's amazing. I find the agent building feature in Profound to be one of the easier AI tools to use, especially when compared to OpenAI and Gemini.

**What do you dislike about Profound?**

Tracking is constrained by the keywords, prompts, and topics we choose to track, which makes it difficult to see what may be happening outside these self-inputs that we could be engaging on and can create a bias loop. The content optimization tool is very thin in terms of output and suggestions, and as an editor, the suggestions feel purposely for LLMs rather than humans. Implementing them or an inexperienced/new content specialist who is asked to rely on them by a senior manager would be put in a precarious position.

I use Profound to create agents, track AEO metrics, and conduct large-scale projects like city research. It helps identify user search trends, competitor presence in LLMs, and content gaps on our site.

Profound is an excellent all-in-one solution for understanding brand visibility across AI platforms. It’s especially strong at measuring visibility against key competitors and then turning those findings into actionable insights. Those insights can help improve brand mentions and citations across a range of LLMs and can form a central part of your strategy.

The Profound dashboard is still going through a series of iterations. For example, sharing custom dashboards with users outside of your own instance, so they can have edit permissions, isn’t quite perfected yet. That said, the support team is on hand and helps very quickly.

**What problems is Profound solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m able to get a solid snapshot of AI performance, more specifically, how a brand is performing not just at a high-level topic area, but also at a more granular level. This enables me to share insights to a variety of different stakeholders, that translate into tangible actions and help grow visibility across different areas.

I love Profound's prompt intelligence and query monitoring. The prompt monitoring capabilities are particularly valuable, especially with the ability to structure prompts by intent, audience type, and competitive scenarios, which creates a much more scalable GE operating model. Profound has evolved beyond the traditional monitoring platform and is increasingly becoming an operational system for AI with security management. The initial setup of Profound was fairly easy, with steps that are pretty easy for any novice to follow. The Profound University was very helpful, explaining concepts clearly for any new person setting it up. We switched to Profound from Semrush and think things are going really well now.

**What do you dislike about Profound?**

I believe with Profound, I would like to see more on dashboards and widgets. Currently, the cuts and dimensions are limited. In the future, more widgets and areas to plug and play metrics for developing dashboards of our own would be helpful for developing better insights.

**What do you like best about Profound?**

Profound has been instrumental in driving our Answer Engine Optimization strategy. The platform provides incredible visibility into how our brands ranks against competitors, paired with highly actionable insights to improve our standing. The dashboarding makes measuring progress seamless, while the agent builder is both robust and intuitive - allowing us to deploy complex or simple agents for nearly any use case. Additionally, the sheets function provides excellent scalability, and the onboarding process was incredibly smooth, taking only a couple of weeks thanks to their top-notch customer support and training.

**What do you dislike about Profound?**

The more pre-built templates in their library the better. The continue to build here but I'm always looking for more. Also their AI agent builder could use some fine tuning - many times building custom agents it's easier uploading the  file into another LLM to improve it.

I use Profound to improve my AEO strategy by benchmarking against competitors and acting on insights. It provides actionable steps to gain a competitive edge. Profound's dashboard, agent building, and sheets function allow me to research, build, and deploy strategies efficiently.

**What do you like best about Profound?**

My favorite feature is probably the agent builder, which lets me effectively chat with it to create an agent using all of the data available in its system. I can then update the features of that system to fit specific use cases or target specific parts of the business. The agent feature in general is one of the most useful parts of Profound because, while agents can be created in other programs, they don't have all the data that Profound houses. Profound's agent is also flexible, and even in areas it lacks data, it can pull from live web SERPs. The Profound team has been invaluable in assisting with setting up and tracking new prompts, creating dashboards and agents.

**What do you dislike about Profound?**

It takes a bit of time to ramp up. I've had to train every single person on my team on how to use and leverage it the best. So they could definitely work on the kind of ABCs of getting started.

**What problems is Profound solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Profound gives us deeper insights by showing data beyond our keyword tracking and indicates where competitors are winning.

**What do you like best about Profound?**

I like that Profound has a firsthand contract with OpenAI that allows us to get all of their data directly from the source, meaning there's no modeling or estimations. All of the data is firsthand and represents what real users are actually searching for. I also like the interface of how the data is presented, as it's very easy to find our competitors and see where we stand. The rankings and percentage scores are easy to identify on a historical basis, making it super helpful to compare our data from three months ago versus today. It also provides specific insights on a prompt by prompt basis by capturing the exact LLM responses to our prompts, helping us with optimization tools. Additionally, Profound's customer service was amazing during the initial setup, and the seamless process handled by our account executive allowed us to quickly get started.

**What do you dislike about Profound?**

Yeah. I've had some issues with the UX. So it can be very difficult when you're tracking an enterprise level website across multiple regions to really filter out the specific prompt data you're looking for. We're tracking probably, like, a 100 topics with 1500 prompts in Profound right now. And our specific core subset of topics is only about 10. Which means that each time I want to access just our core keyword data, I have to deselect a bunch of different prompts and that can get a little time consuming. The other thing is the prompt research feature. It's been very helpful for identifying where we could show up, where we're not currently showing up, as well as potential prompts that could be valuable to track for our business. However, I had a some issues transitioning the research prompts into our tracking tools. It uploaded each separate prompt under a separate topic, so for two weeks, I had to unselect probably a 100 topics within the platform to actually see the ones that I cared about, and that was time consuming. It took a little bit longer for the engineering team to resolve that than I would have liked. So there's definitely just some issues with the platform being a little buggy.

I use Profound to measure our AI visibility footprint across LLM platforms. It helps identify high opportunity prompts and opportunities for improvement, narrowing our focus on search volumes that actually generate business impact. I use Profound to make my company visible and ensure it stands out among other competitors, especially in a world where large language models are taking over. I like that Profound ensures my company name and products come up first when searched, which was very valuable for my makeup brand. The initial setup of Profound was very good, making the experience smooth.

**What do you dislike about Profound?**

I don't think nothing needs improvement other than not ghosting their applicants or rescheduling 3 times. I had an interview got rescheduled 3 times then ghosted me, got an email that things come up and they elaborate very fast ( exactly start ups work fast, not the case here!) tragic irony because I told them it's unacceptable to ghost applicants like you wouldn't do to your customers.

I like that Profound is quite friendly, interesting, and easy to use. Above all, its 'ask' function is very good, it makes the work much easier, since with this tool it is simpler to find visuals or specific data that are not easily available, adding extra information in a simple way.

**What do you dislike about Profound?**

Yes, I think I would like the user to have more autonomy in changing their own themes, their keywords when referring to something specific, to have more authority over what to add, which countries to add and which countries to remove. I think that is something to improve, like the autonomy that the user can have to conduct their searches, since as an SEO team in a specific region, we often need many topics and well-organized ones, so we don't have that possibility.

I use Profound to analyze visibility in LLM models, understand Adidas's visibility compared to the competition, and gain insights into how we are searched. It helps me a lot to solve visibility and citation issues, optimizing our site to appear more.

I like that the first setup of Profound was quite easy, and we got help from the Profound team to figure out the topics. It's best to set these up in alignment with the traffic goals each brand has. After that, adding prompts was straightforward, allowing us to be more complete.   Multiple dashboards in Profound make it easy to keep track brand mention scoring, but what I love most is that you can see where your mentions are coming from (split per model). Profound provides an overview of the sources ChatGPT (and others) use, helping us to either reach out to those websites or create similar content.   I also appreciate how easy it is to reach the Profound team and how quickly they push new features and functionality.

I'd love a way to see which prompts people are actually in our category, similar to keyword volume in Google. At the moment, there is an experimental feature, but I'd like to see this improved.

I think the UI is pretty simple for as complex as AI search is, which makes it super easy to just jump in and start using it. I also like how Profound provides visibility across all of the major consumer LLMs, so we don't have to manually track the performance of each model. They do that for us, which is very convenient. Plus, it seems like their dataset is more comprehensive than any of the competitors.

Sometimes it feels like there's not enough granularity to some of the data. It's sometimes hard to narrow in on a specific page. So sometimes trying to optimize a specific landing page, but you can't really track just the performance of that specific page and how much that page gets cited. The Answer Engine Insights tab is incredibly fast for checking content performance across LLMs, and the Citation Shares feature is an awesome rabbit hole—you can see the exact landing pages, prompts, and actual quotes the AI models are pulling.

We also use it to track prompts across LLMs to keep tabs on our visibility and market share against competitors. GEO is a new and very rapidly evolving discipline, and the platform does a great job of both supporting existing practitioner requirements, and quickly developing and releasing features that support new requirements. The visibility score in particular does a great job of both providing a 'north star' metric to reflect brand orientation, and sufficient transparency into the underlying dynamics to enable it to be positioned as part of a brand performance story.

The UX can feel highly complex and in some cases a little unintuitive. However, given the pace of launch and ongoing development, I think this is ultimately understandable. This does mean that users need to invest some significant time in understanding platform capabilities, and setting outputs into a narrative context for less engaged users.

Answer Engine Insights just works. We track visibility, citations, sentiment, and share of voice across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Copilot, slice by engine and prompt cluster, and pull raw answers when we need to dig in. The UI is clean and dense without feeling overwhelming, which matters when you're navigating this much data daily. Performance is solid too. Dashboards load fast and reports are ready when we need them.

The AI capabilities are where Profound really separates itself. Agent Assistant lets you describe what you want in plain English and builds the agent for you. Ask surfaces content and citation gaps automatically. Prompt Research Reports pull real prompts being run in LLMs so we're not guessing at what to track. The whole platform is opinionated about how to operate in AI search, not just a passive analytics layer.

Onboarding was smooth and the support has been exceptional. The team is proactive, shares playbooks, runs prompt research on our behalf, and flags industry shifts before we'd catch them ourselves. The white-glove experience is real.

Genuinely hard to come up with much. The only thing on our wishlist is cleaner segmentation between deep research prompts and standard prompts, since a lot of buyers now kick off evaluations with deep research. Already raised it with the team and they're on it, which is consistent with how responsive they are to feedback.

LLMs are where our buyers now start their evaluation, and we needed visibility into how we were showing up in those answers. Profound gave us that visibility and a system to act on it.

For me it's probably the AI visibility tracker with the most features - the citation information it has is very strong, and allowing you to add, and then analyse by, topics and personas is great.

I think in general Profound is limited in the same way that all AI visibility trackers are - people are searching prompts in much more unique ways than ever before so no tool will be able to get a completely accurate picture of things. However, I think Profound has done the best job of doing so.

I'm not so much into some of the content generation tools or some recs but each to their own.

One area for improvement would be more detailed API data documentation. Some field behaviors only become clear after profiling the raw data - things like which models populate certain fields, how arrays are delimited, and how duplicate run_ids should be handled. More thorough docs with examples and edge-case notes would make the API much easier to work with, especially for teams building custom metrics on top.

I love that Profound has everything I want it to have: information on multiple generative AI engines, prompt information, share of voice and similar metrics, competitive intel, and agents to generate content where you need it most. I was happily surprised by its recommendations section, which had valuable actions we could take to make an impact quickly. The recommendations section included smart, strategic, and actionable suggestions like finding ways to weigh in on relevant topics in Reddit. It's great to see where content resonated across different platforms (like ChatGPT vs Claude) and to understand how much of a share of voice we have in key service areas. Also, getting access to the trial environment was very easy and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Profound?**

I honestly didn't try the agents for creating content. They seemed very proud of those, but we are still working to create content on our own and don't yet want to go that route. In terms of improvement, we're an absolute match for our own AEO/GEO efforts, but we struggled to translate it into something we could use with our clients. We had several sessions with a sales rep and welcomed a consultative conversation on our specific use case, but it was clunky at best on how we would scale it and make it work without becoming unaffordable fast. I'm disappointed honestly because the data inside the platform was so strong.

I think the user interface is fairly intuitive. I like how the data's displayed. I think kind of the sentiment factor is helpful, the sort of overall ranking or overall sort of visibility is helpful, and then being able to whittle down into various specific responses is also helpful.

I would love to see page level query attribution. Instead of starting with the query, starting with the page would be helpful to see which queries and prompts that page is showing up for. Grouping them under the page and URL instead of under queries would be nice. Also, LLM visibility tools feel like they are only as good as they are configured, and it can seem like you're missing out if they're not set up perfectly.

Nobody has the perfect solution, but I appreciate that they share their data when running tests and then integrate it into the larger solution. I was spoiled with the set-up process as I was reached out to early in Profound's launch, and their team, especially Nick Lafferty, set my account up for me.

I love the idea of 'prompt volumes' but do not believe this is fundamentally possible given LLMs are not a search engine relying on 2-3 word searches. So many queries submitting to LLMs are ultra specific, long, and detailed. I think prompt clustering volumes or topic volumes could be a better way to provide better insight.

The platform's really good, but the ability to just get into the platform and know exactly what to do is a little bit limited. I'm sure they're going to work towards a solution to make it a little bit more inherently understood. They do, however, have a robust education module.

Profound is a tremendous tool for our agency. The visibility and average rank information is great with deep insights at a prompt level. The visuals tie it all together and allow us to quickly leverage for our current and prospective clients. Profound also provides incredibly valuable info on consumer sentiment and personas, a great pair with the visibility info it can provide. Profound is the most advanced tool I've used for understanding detailed visibility, sentiment, and persona insights. Setting up new dashboards is quite simple and manageable.

**What do you dislike about Profound?**

While an added feature, the generative AI set up tool is still a work in progress, requiring a lot of manual work when creating prompts, which isn't a huge problem but something to be aware of. Profound is also a very cost-intensive product, suitable for power users, agencies, or clients who are willing to invest significantly in the platform.

**What do you like best about Profound?**

I love how Profound provides better visibility into how our content is performing and what drives users to use our content. It's revolutionizing our ability to get data on what a cortex is doing. I find it very easy to use; it's simple and intuitive. I also like that they are actively communicating with us and updating features, showing a reactive approach rather than a one-time setup. Additionally, setting it up was very easy; just logging in allows you to start getting data and evaluating new content.

**What do you dislike about Profound?**

Well, I mean, we still have to provide those prompts. And this is, definitely time consuming. So we are working on this to have ways to avoid the need to do this or to auto generate them. But this is, just a limitation of the technology right now that I think every company has. So, that's that's not a big deal.

Profound revolutionizes our ability to get data on how agents use our website, providing better visibility into user behavior. It's easy to use, simple, and intuitive, with responsive feature updates, making it not just a one-and-done tool.

**What do you like best about Profound?**

The platform is consistently updated with new, useful, and much-needed features. There’s a solid balance of off-the-shelf dashboards and templates, which makes it easy to review things from a high-level view. The API and the custom integrations you can build are especially helpful for pulling the exact numbers to the specifications I need, and the API performance has been strong. Support from the team has also been very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Profound?**

I’ve run into some issues with the accuracy of responses coming from API pulls, especially when I’m trying to analyze specific text. At the moment, there isn’t any product-specific information available outside of the shopping section, and the portal itself doesn’t yet have an API integration.

**What problems is Profound solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Profound is helping us solve the data side most of all for AI visibility.  Wiring in multiple AI engines for answers outside of just and API, but consumer facing queries is very helpful.  Trying to build out a scraping function to get that information is difficult and would take a lot of time and money.

I think some of the metrics and how performance is tracked is useful, but more metrics and specifications could be added.

**What do you like best about Profound?**

I find Profound very helpful for getting us visibility into where we rank for particular queries in the LLMs. This information and context is an important input for our growth strategies and awareness strategies. We have not found a better solution out there for understanding this important piece of our marketing. LLMs are a place we see people moving to, in terms of consumer behavior, consideration, and research. It has helped us better understand that part of our customer journey and funnel. I think the setup process was very easy, especially with help from the Profound team to set the basics up. The process was smooth when it came to setup.

**What do you dislike about Profound?**

Sometimes just getting to know where to find the information we need in the product can be a bit confusing. That gets better over time, the more comfortable we get with the product. Since the data points are new, since AEO as a strategy is new, there's just not a lot of habits built into where to look for certain things and how they're defined, and so it takes a bit of a learning curve to understand where to look for things and what certain terms mean in Profound definitions of them.

I find Profound very helpful for visibility into where we rank for queries in LLMs, which is an important input for our growth and awareness strategies. It helps us understand the customer journey, showing us where we appear in conversations off our owned channels.

**What do you like best about Profound?**

Profound's expansive proprietary data set sets them apart from other tools in the space. The addition of the agents section also allows power users within this tool to completely automate tedious tasks. This agents function also connects with traditional search data from search console, integrating SEO insights to your workflows.

AEO/GEO is a new space with new KPIs to stakeholders outside of the day to day work. Profound provides trustworthy data as well as simplified dashboards that can easily be interpreted by stakeholders outside of the platform. The consultancy / education support from the profound team has also been impressive in catching our enterprise up to speed and allowing us to move quickly with leadership buy in.

We were an early mover with Profound and have found their price point to be reasonable for the support we have received. 

Overall I would rate this platform's performance as a 9/10 as it has enabled our team to adapt to the changing search landscape and deliver expertise internally to leadership.

**What do you dislike about Profound?**

One draw back of the speed at which Profound ships is that some sections get more TLC than others (likely based on adoption by consumers). An example of this is the prompt volumes section (access to panel data within 4 different LLM platforms). This section has hardly changed since we joined the platform, but can deliver integral insights to more 201/301 customers. Contrast that with cosmetic changes or the addition of dashboards, which are more 101 areas and better understood received by newly onboarded customers

I like that Profound shows the actual prompts and sources behind AI visibility instead of just vanity scores. It reveals the messy middle, like which competitors get recommended and which publications influence the answer, making it a lot more practical to work off. The initial setup was pretty easy, and having access to an account manager who was super helpful made the technical implementation smoother. All we needed to do was configure the prompts and competitors to monitor.

**What do you dislike about Profound?**

Not a lot of complaints but maybe actionability - Profound is strong at showing where we do or don't appear, but the next step is not always obvious (e.g., what content to change, etc.).

Profound helps us understand and improve our brand's presence in AI search engines, solving measurement issues traditional SEO tools can't. It provides practical insights on competitor recommendations and influential publications. However, the actionability of next steps could be clearer.

I like how the team works hard to make sure I see the most value from the tool. Product requests are listened to and the team is timely when I have questions. The tool is well documented and they have extra training in the form of Pods, which are great. Profound also has tools and ongoing documentation to ensure I don't fall behind the curve as technology and use cases evolve rapidly in AI. The initial setup is easy and very quick but if you're willing to put in extra effort, to do an advanced implementation, it pays off in equal proportion.

Their transition to a credit-based consumption model has been a little rough. Dates are moving, rates are changing, and it has lacked clarity overall.

The robust answer engine insights section stands out, as it allows me to drill down into performance details, including how different topics are performing against competitors, citation frequencies, visibility, and sentiment regarding my company in AI. The initial setup was very easy.

The custom dashboard section doesn't allow you to slice the data and create in-depth dashboards easily. Currently, you can only add a few pre-approved metrics to the dashboard. I want to create custom metrics utilizing the data that is already available in the platform and be able to filter it in the dashboard.

The app's homepage overview immediately surfaces insights, changes, website activity, and top search terms — making it super easy to jump in, get an overview of where we're standing today, and what terms are gaining traction!

I use "Prompt Volumes" the most to understand where we're showing up, what people are searching for, and how to guide our content & AEO strategy going forward.

Sometimes it's hard to tell what insights live where in the nav, so I need to click around a few times to get where I want to go.

Now that our search traffic is shifting away from traditional organic search channels, it's more important than ever to maintain visibility where folks are actively seaching. 

Profound is helping us understand how we're performing in AI Search: by platform (perplexity vs claude vs chatGPT), what search terms we're showing up for, how we're performing compared to our competitors, and how visible we are across AI citations. 

We're also using AI agents to optimize FAQs, identify content that needs to be refreshed, support suggestions, and get weekly brand health reviews.

Profound has become a valuable enabler within our ecosystem, especially given how we partner with both lead aggregators and benefit aggregators. It brings structure, transparency, and consistency to a space that can otherwise feel fragmented and overly manual.

To start, Profound improves how we evaluate and prioritize leads coming in from aggregators. By standardizing data inputs and surfacing the most important attributes, it helps us quickly identify high-quality opportunities and match them to the right products or solutions. As a result, we spend less time on manual triage and can be more confident that strong leads aren’t being overlooked.

In addition, Profound strengthens our collaboration with benefit aggregators by giving us a clearer view of the value propositions, incentives, and benefits being offered across different partners. With that visibility, we can better tailor our engagement strategies, emphasize the most relevant benefits for each client segment, and reduce duplication or misalignment across programs.

**What do you dislike about Profound?**

One opportunity for Profound is to improve the overall user experience and workflow integration. While it does a good job of centralizing valuable information from lead and benefit aggregators, the interface can sometimes feel a bit cumbersome to navigate. I often have to go through multiple clicks to reach the specific details I’m looking for, which can slow things down when I’m trying to work efficiently.
