We use podium to schedule/coordinate deliveries, Customer care and sales. It has been a helpful tool for clients that prefer text Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would say the cost is the biggest downfall of Podium. As other programs become available and become as easy to use I can see more clients switching to a lesser expensive product Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Working with podium has been a dream, my company has worked with them for 7 years now and we have always had a great working relationship. The amount of different things podium can provide as a company always surprises me whether its text messages intergrated with social media platform, our call center or applying AI into systems across the board or they review management aspects everything they have done for us is amazing. They go out of they way to find new ways to better our business and put in the effort needed on their end to make things happen when we make a suggestion or bring a new idea forward. There are not many things I dislike about podium, one thing is that implementation can take a little more time but that is because they go out of their way to make things work with systems they may not have worked with before or they start from scratch and things like that take time. Our clinics use Podium daily, and there are several features we really like. It makes managing Google Reviews for multiple locations easy. Posting directly in the platform helps us keep track of reviews and reply quickly. It’s great that multiple users can see which reviews have already been answered. It’s also helpful to see how our reviews have grown and improved over time. Plus, being able to text or email customers for more detailed feedback creates a useful loop for us to keep improving at the clinic level. The AI feature isn't fully trained yet, but I think it could be improved in the future. It doesn't fully do sentiment analysis; it just looks for the most used words by customers in their reviews. Another thing is that it would be better if the data in Reporting+ could be pulled in an easier manner, rather than having to extract it manually for multiple locations. Texting clients from a secure number (no personal employee numbers have to be shared), sending secure payment links for quick and secure payments (no writing down credit card numbers), and the link to our website where potential clients can reach us quickly via text.
