What do you like best about Pelion IoT Connectivity?

Staff are really knowledgable

Portal is simple to navigate

services are easy to implement for the most part

majority of the controls are self service

prices are competitive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pelion IoT Connectivity?

the new portal has been very problematic. There has been a reduction in the amount of self service controls such as sim swaps as well as reduction in API capabilities. Staff have advised that the self service controls will be avaiable in a new release but at present the new portal leaves users less self seficent and using a more manual process.

support in general has declined over the past few months, i appreciate faults happen and can take time to resolve (sim swaps for example) however there is a lack of communication regarding know faults when a sim swap request is raised. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pelion IoT Connectivity?

I am a recent joiner to the Pelion community. I had to use this product for a small project to monitor the usage of 5G services. A friend of mine recommended me to try using the Pelion platform for the same. I had tried out the free version before moving to paid, so I even got a chance to test out the 4g services as well before taking up the paid version and moving onto 5G services.

Getting started on this was not complicated at all and was very fluent and elegant, and even the monitoring was not a problem. The services turned out to be very clean as well, as I had been using Netscan tools pro and Nping to test out the features offered by this 5G service. The IoT service (paid version) also has performance monitoring across all the IoT devices it connects.

So on an overall note, I would definitely prefer anyone trying to check out an easy-to-use IoT platform for any integration or for day-to-day use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pelion IoT Connectivity?

I could not integrate GitBox with this platform as there was no integration tool available, a tool for integration that might be helpful for more complicated monitoring. The cloud connectivity for me was a little slow compared to direct connections (This was also monitored).

Also, the IoT platform does not provide configuration and connectivity management is one con for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pelion IoT Connectivity?

We used this Pelion Iot platform for the final year project, where we developed a system to monitor the network between the devices which uses MQTT protocol to communicate. This tool helped us to connect very quickly and easily monitor all the outgoing and incoming packets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pelion IoT Connectivity?

The devices take some time to connect the devices over the cloud, but when it comes to the devices that are nearby the devices can connect very quickly. We mostly used the devices that are around us, so we haven't faced more issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
