Being able to have all members of a community stay in touch digitally and allowing for easy record keeping. Paying digitally eliminates the snail mail excuse and keeps everything up to date. The versatility to conduct so much for the HOA with this service is invaluable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Haven't had any issues as of yet. But customer service has always responded in a timely manner for any inquiries we have had. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Availability of support from a real-person when needed
-Pricing structure based on units (which is directly correlated to an HOAs cash flow)
-Help/resource availability for those who want to figure it out themselves
-Low fees for electronic payments
-Reduces need for quickbooks/other account software Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
-Pricing becomes significantly expensive if you want an online presence (i.e. website)
-Lack of customizable alerts for admins and HOA Board
-Custom forms could allow for more customization in terms of field availability/customization Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We love the invoicing and payments features. They have made it easy to do our quarterly dues billing. We also like how it syncs with the bank account. This has been great because the HOA president uses bill pay through the bank and those payments show right up in PayHOA. Their customer service and support are quick to respond and resolve problems. When we first started using it, there were issues getting the options for owners to pay their dues online. It was a bigger issue because we did not get a notice from PayHOA that there was a problem. It was only noticed when the funds were never deposited after 10 days. They were great to work with on fixing the problem and now it works. We also wish there were more options to customize invoices. PayHOA has tools for most common workflows - accepting payment, tracking budgets and expenses, and communitcating with homeowners (such as for architectural requests).
It makes a lot of this super easy too - for example it supports autopay for homeowners on the payment side, and syncs with your bank transactions so it's always up to date on expenses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some flows are confusing - for example the same bank account needs to be added multiple times for accepting payments, tracking transactions/expenses, and paying vendors.
Also would love to see tie in with professional services (with a fee) for the times that's needed - eg. it would be super helpful if payHOA had lawyers, tax professionals, etc available for a fee as an on demand service for the times self management wasn't enough. PayHOA really simplified HOA management. We were paying $8,000/year for a management company and honestly, this software out performs that company in all respect for a fraction of the cost. This allowed us to build up our reserves without a price hike. Love it and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
The other amazing part of PayHOA is the customer support. They worked with us on payments, enrollment, hell a Zoom to teach our board and are super responsive to questions. I've never waited more than a single day for a response and that's only when I don't have time to call and talk to someone in real time.
Again, can't say enough about how simple and intuitive this software is. Love it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing. Even links with all of our banks for easy accounting. Makes communication simple. If I were going to change anything though, it would probably be to add automated billing for violations. That's it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This software product was just what the doctor ordered as I was taking over the stewardship of my HOA. It made it so easy to create monthly HOA dues invoices and deal with other online payments or offline payments. I then used the general ledger product to record all expenses and then financials that it generates are incredible and easy to follow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are no downsides from using this product Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have had a pretty good experience so far, a few hiccups but have been learning the platform bit by bit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The one thing that I do not like is that they are using 3rd party vendors like Plaid to extrablish a bank account and the payments are not credited immeadiately to our bank account, there is a 5-7 working day lag. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's intuitive and very easy to use. I easily set up the entire neighborhood within a short period of time after transition away from paying a management company. The email and communication features are great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not being able to split out annual expense by month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how easy it is to use! I also absolutely love the support, when something goes wrong or I can't figure it out, the support people are amazing at helping me fix everything! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do wish there was a starter guide for residents, something to help guide them in account set up. A brief flyer would be great. We have had several residents have trouble linking their bank accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
