The database is probably the only thing people like about Taleo. It provides a centralized place to store employee reviews and such. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its web interface is horrible. It uses Adobe Flash - which is meant for graphics - to display mostly text, as well as receive text input. Why do this, when HTML (doesn't have to be HTML5) does the job much, much better? And it is set to display at 150% the width of the web browser. I have to do some modifying of my web browser to make it fit right (custom CSS rules for the Taleo web page). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Detail-oriented recruitment tool. Globally used and I have been using this tool for the past 6 years.
User-friendly software and recommend any firm use it for talent acquisition (recruitment), performance management, learning and development, and compensation management.

Oracle Learn Cloud isn't designed in the way that a learning professional would design it; it works OK with professional development, but because it breaks the rules of good instructional design, it doesn't work well for regulatory learning and compliance. Specializations don't have recurring learning. Assignments dictate the business rhythm of the course, not the course itself. You keep changing the capabilities of communities which breaks significant compliance issues. Support answers "works as designed" and closes SRs frequently...it feels like they do this to play with their metrics and make their response look better than it really is. If you have multiple modules (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits) there are too many times that changes in one negatively affects another in unexpected ways.
