Payroll and exporting to excel is nice. I can easily add and remove employees. Geofencing is a huge plus for me in the construction industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The tracking feature is pretty much non existent. It doesn't actually let you track where crews are. I would like to more easily have crew members clock in under different roles and an easier way of allocating these hours for payroll. As an example: My company does snow removal. I pay employees different rates based on if they're doing work inside our shop, driving as a plow driver, shoveling, or running heavy equipment. I can set them up as different options for clocking in but when processing payroll, I need to run job costing reports for each employee and for each individual week in order to get their regular and overtime rates in correctly. The account set up was straightforward and simple for our employees to download and start using. Our employees having the ability now to leave notes when punching their time, the ability to correct their own missed punches, being able to view how much PTO they have and the ease of requesting it make On The Clock the best time tracker I have used in all my years of doing payroll. Not a thing, I just wish I had known about it sooner! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that there is an app & a website. It's very easy to use! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Wish the website had a time count like the app does Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

OnTheClock is very easy to navigate. The Paid Time Off screen is easy to use for both employees and administrators. We can easily see requests and approve or deny them. The Time Sheet Summary reports are also easy to use and it's quick and easy to make any changes necessary right on that report screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I do not like about the software is that when an email is sent with a PTO request, there are no details about the request, so I have to log onto the system to see what is being requested. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy for even those with technical difficulties to master and use without issues. Everything is easy to find and use. Tech support is helpful and knowledgable. We are very happy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing! Everything is easy to use and exactly what we need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like On the Clock because it is easy to use and extremely user-friendly from both the employee and employer side. I especially like that it keeps up with PTO, and keeps track of IP address. Highly recommend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are no downsides to On the Clok that I have experienced so far. It's very easy to use, and it's accurate. The only thing I can think of that needs improvement is that every now and then a punch does not go through, but that may be user error. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy for the employees to clock in, request time off, and see how much vacation they have left. Very easy for me to track Time Off (this was previously a laborsome task), we agree on how much time is left, I can see a calendar of time off, making it easy to avoid office conflicts. Uploading the time to my payroll program is easy. I like being able to see where an employee is when they clock in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
-I would like to run a total hours breakdown by an employee and be able to select the date range. It would need to show the dates and hours and the total for each catagory.
-I find it annoying that each day is called a "Time Card". Each day is a day worth of punches (in and out), and the entire work week is a Time Card (just look at an old time card.. hint: one week is a card) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease of use for both administration and staff. Having a mobile app for our staff to use has been very helpful. The online platform is also easy to use and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the app can be glitchy. This may be due to our internet and/or cell service, however the clock-in/clock-out button does not always register fully and must be selected multiple times, sometimes resulting in an inadvertent missed punch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease of use, cost and features that are available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not experienced anything that I dislike. Keep up the good work! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
