OneTrust Privacy Automation Pros and Cons

The One Trust Privacy Automation module is intuitive and easy to configure. The platform is reliable and stable - I have not experienced any outages or other concerns. Handling privacy requests properly is critical to stay compliant and I feel confident that this can be achieved using the One Trust platform. In the course of the 5 years - I've had good and not so good support since we did not purchase the Enterprise Support. However, I have been very happy with our new Account Representative and the additional features available for support (access to support calls, support calendars). I would like to see better out of the box reporting using the Dashboards and Reports. The Dashboard graph options are somewhat limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The tools are configured with privacy minded individuals. Privacy Assessments are easy to configure if you want to create your own, or you can use out of the box assessments that are pretty good depending on the size of your business. Answers are collected and stored in the Data Mapping tool, where you have the ability to create reports, or again use out of the box reports for things like your RoPA. I don't dislike anything, I have features that I would like to see that have not been implemented yet. A true non-production to production process where you can migrate data after it's been tested properly is the #1 feature the tool does not have today, making you make changes directly in production. The tool itself is a great one, with lots of templates that makes your complaince work easy. For large organization is an asset and you can rely to have made a huge part of the compliance work inside the tool. Also the fact there are worldwide approach benefits the company. OneTrust privacy and sync enables us to measure the cybersecurity risk and requirements time to time and we do not have to measure it manually. The upside of it is trends that we get to see and filter out our requirements for a security practice without compromising our privay.

The best parts about this product is it helps the organisation to avoid costly data breaches by identifying and mitigating the privacy & data risks. along side its easy of implementation and deployment. the customer support was quite good actully with my issues during the time of issues i faced and i was provided with a prompt solution to the problem. the best feature of this product is its privacy training, i get to use this feature quiet frequently. The main issues I personally faced were old UI and design which made it a bit difficult to navigate through the console. Their are certain areas where the integration with other product was not seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
