**What do you like best about Osano?**

Osano is a great tool that allowed us to get up and running very fast. The user interface seems up to date and easy to follow. Their cookie consent tool was the easiest to setup and most customizable at this price point. Anytime we ran into an issue the customer support team was quick to respond and solve our issue.

**What do you dislike about Osano?**

Depending on your company size, they might not offer as many customizations as you need.

**What problems is Osano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had been using a larger and older consent tool that would have been fine to use a few years ago. But as more laws have come online we needed a more robust consent platform that allows us to grow. Such as going from only cookie consent, to subject rights requests and beyond.

I like that is compiled all in one platform and it is customizable. Cookie consent is very easy to manage it! Also, customer support is awesome!

We were looking for a consent management solution that was quick to implement and did not require expertise in various user privacy laws and regulations.  We were also looking for a solution that did not require heavy development to integrate with our website.  We were up and running with Osano and in compliance with local privacy regulations within 4 days.

We haven't identified any shortcomings yet!  Support has been strong and the platform is intuitive and easy to manage.

Osano is very easy to use and helps us comply with privacy laws like GDPR and CCPA. The Cookie Consent is simple to set up, and the "No Fines, No Penalties Pledge" gives us peace of mind. The GDPR Representative service is also helpful for meeting international requirements. Their customer support is great—they respond quickly and are very helpful when we have questions.

While the tools and customer support are great, it might be pricey for smaller companies with limited budgets.

We recently transitioned from internal cookie management to using Osano’s API, and it was a smooth and straightforward process. The implementation was relatively easy on our end, and the level of support we received was wonderful. The Osano team was always readily available to answer questions and provided clear, friendly guidance throughout. Their account and technical support made the move seamless and enjoyable. Highly recommend Osano for reliable, user-friendly cookie management solutions.

While our overall experience with Osano has been positive, we found that the UX of the analytics dashboard could use some improvement. The interface could be more intuitive, and greater ability for data manipulation would help make insights easier to access and act upon. Enhancing the analytics experience would elevate Osano's platform even further.

We previously used UserCentrics, but they were too focused on the European Union and we needed a focus on the United States more.   Osano is just so easy to implement and use.

Everyone I have worked with at Osano is a total pro. They know what they are doing, the make things easy and they are very knowledgable. Implementation was super easy and our sales rep Steven went above and beyond to share additional information that we needed to make the case for using Osano. I've worked with other cookie consent providers who make things way too complicated and take months to implement. Highly recommend.

The cost is higher than other providers, but it's totally worth it.

The tool itself is easy to configure and manage. But even more important to me is the service and support from their team, which is first-rate.

Whether I needed technical direction or input on some of my configuration choices, the team responded quickly and thoughtfully, also providing resources from their excellent knowledge base.

**What do you dislike about Osano?**

Since consent topics are so complex and dense, I can get overwhelmed by the decisions I need to make about my configuration (this is a universal issue with all CMPs). Osano's knowledge base and support team have been incredibly helpful in this area.

**What problems is Osano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Osano offloads the heavy lifting of consent management. Most SMBs can't do this in-house, so it's important to find a tool that's backed by people you can trust. Osano is this tool for us!

**What do you like best about Osano?**

Osano makes it incredibly easy to manage compliance and with their rules functionality you can classify large quanties of scripts, cookies, and iframes with a single rule. Their support team has always been responsive, training videos were very helpful, and I'm happy we use them for our SaaS product. For our tech team, it's incredibly easy to publish a new configuration as needed. Keep it up!

There are some limitations on reports that I am unable to filter out deleted configurations prior to exporting data and as we use Osano for enterprise clients of ours, each with their own domain, we have no way have a set of shared rules across domains/configurations meaning slightly more administration work as we have 1 configuration per enterprise client, but the rules feature helps offset this admin work.

Osano allows us to scale our software with our enterprise customers in a colmpliant manner around the world.

**What do you like best about Osano?**

I like how robust Osano is compared to other competitors I've worked with. The cookie, script, and iframe classification system is significantly more automated than other CMPs. Also, the implementation was smooth and our onboarding manager was incredibly helpful. She was very knowledgeable and quick to address questions and concerns.

**What do you dislike about Osano?**

The only issue I had was the original quote I received. Our monthly traffic was given to the sales rep who then recommended a specific tier of service. Months into our contract, our subscription increased because we started seeing much more traffic. I wish this would have been outlined more clearly during the sales process, but am grateful for our customer success manager who helped us make it work.

Osano is helping us to protect our customers' privacy. With all of the current and forthcoming legislation about data privacy, it has been wonderful to partner with Osano to help us protect our customers as well as our business.

Osano caters for a wide range of businesses and enables us to easily comply with Privacy laws. We have implemented Osano Cooke management within our external facing website. 

I can also report the customer support and customer success team are very helpful and responsive.

**What do you dislike about Osano?**

Only down side is the sitemap feature doesn't support nested sitemaps, we would have to unnest them. Therefore we are waiting for this feature to become available.

Osano allows us to comply with Privacy Laws. such as Cooke management and Privacy Impact Assessment documentation.

Ease of delpoyment, simple configuration setup and the fact that our devs don't need to make adjustments to the appearance of the UI elements is huge!

**What do you dislike about Osano?**

There are some elements I do wish were more flexible, but overall, Osano has met our needs well.

We have thousands of active websites, so we needed a solution that was simple to implement and scale. Finding Osano was huge for us in that someone non-technical can do 99% of the work to get sites up and running without engineering intervention.

Osano's ability to dynamically generate the proper language and rules via location make it ideal for our business needs. It takes the headaches out of compliance. It was super easy to implement and if you have questions their support team is excellent.

**What do you dislike about Osano?**

If there's one thing that could be improved it would be to offer even greater customization based on corporate requirements and not just laws, This won't affect 95% of folks but for those that have special use case needs might cause issues. One other drawback is it can be a bit on the pricey side for some of our clients.

Helps is remain compliant across the globe without having to worry about managing the day to day global laws.

Love that unlike most CMP's, Osano doesn't require I set a bunch of complex triggers in Google Tag Manager. Also love how easy and friendly their support team is to work with.

**What do you dislike about Osano?**

Definitely more expensive than other CMP offerings. The nature of how it functions makes it sometimes hard to identify what scripts are actually running on our site vs. stuff on random users visiting our sites browsers.

Allows us to stay compliant with constantly changing legal regulations and ensure any ad tracking we're using are in compliance with users preferences.

It is very easy to setup and anytime I have opened a support ticket because of something weird on our site they have figured out how to get the code that was a problem.  The problems have always been with the code the vendor used to create the site, not with Osano.

I haven't come across anything that I don't like yet.

Because they have a compliance they have a guarantee our legal department is very happy with their product.

Osano's vendor risk management solution feels incomplete. While it provides a solid foundation, it lacks certain advanced features and customization options that would enhance its effectiveness. Despite this, it still offers a useful starting point for organizations looking to improve their vendor risk management practice.

**What do you like best about Osano?**

How easy it is to implement and use on the back end. I like how great the support team has been and how quick the responses have been from them. 
While we are still in the testing phase I love the service so far

**What do you dislike about Osano?**

I wish their was more customizablity with the font, design etc on the back end. Having to ask our devs to change small things like font, or button placement is rather annoying

**What problems is Osano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of customer data and being more transparent with user data. We also had some requests from customers to be more transparent with our data. Osano is still on test on our end but will go live soon.

**What do you like best about Osano?**

First, the onboarding is great. Personalized calls guide you through the initial setup, teaching you the tool. Second, the tool identifies all kinds of cookies, scripts, etc, and auto-classifies many to make your life as an administrator a bit easier. Anytime I have had a question, the my account rep and support teams have been eagerly avaialble to get me where I need to be.

**What do you dislike about Osano?**

Don't go into it expecting magic. While the tool helps identify a lot of the cookies, scripts, etc, it'll find plenty it will not classify and you're going to be left with some legwork. While, I've used several competitor products, and Osano has been my favorite to date, it is still not a "launch and forget" solution. Be dilligent!

**What problems is Osano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I manage a collection of brand-specific websites under our FinTech parent company, and CCPA/CPRA, and other US-based privacy law compliance is an absolute necessity. Our valued partnership with Osano helps us maintain this objective.

The implementation was super easy and they held our hand the whole way. Super thankful to the knowledgable implementation team. They seem to know what they are talking about and make it SO much less stressful than the last program we used - onetrust. Our last program we never were sure it was set up correctly. This company has great cusomer support and does a lot of the heavy lifting for us. The program iself it also a lot easier to use/navigate.

Osano is incredibly easy to onboard. The banners and subject rights forms are out of the box.

The UI could use a little work. It's not a deal breakers but some things are confusing, for example, certain areas don't look clickable when they are, and when scrolling through cookies to identify, the pagination can break.

**What do you like best about Osano?**

It is easy to understand and use.  I really like how easy of the set-up process as almost anyone could do it.  And if we did have questions, Christie Roy has been right there to answer our questions.

**What do you dislike about Osano?**

We were asked to modify/disable the Targeted Advertising toggle by one of our stakeholders.  Unfortunately, we were told this was not doable at this time but was on the companies rador to be done in the future.  So far, this has been only major sticking point.  I will say we are planning to release the cookies on a number of other sites so we may get additional requests on this or other items in the coming weeks.  I'll continue to reach out to Christie if needed.

Osano is helping us solve our company compliance with cookie regulations.  Osano's software and knowledge allows us to be in compliance along with allowing us to focus our resources/time on tasks we are experts on.

Super easy to implement, understand and calibrate. We were able to go from "contract signed" to implemented on the first website in about a week and a half. UX was easy to update. The online guides were easy to follow. The customer service agent was eager to help and knowleagable.

**What do you dislike about Osano?**

The DSAR form takes a lot of modifications to make it useful

Some of the defaults are not helpful, and changing them took time. Specifically the "cookie icon" for the preference manager. We had to find online guides to get it to the design/feel we wanted. Those guides were helpful, but the default image of the preference manager was glaring and inconveniently placed in its default state.

**What problems is Osano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handles CCPA and CPRA regulations as well as manages the legal needs across various states as new laws roll out. 
Enables DSAR requests to be implemented and monitored from a central location
Makes it easy to classify cookies and scripts to ease the concerns of legal without costing marketing massive conversion losses
The cost matched any size of company. The enterprise offering (We purchased) matched the needs well, but the single website offering is just as robust with the same features and is a reasonable price.

I love how this system can be used for an entire team. We have several different departments that need to touch and review this information and this program makes it so easy and efficient. I love that it is task-oriented as well.

I do not love all of the emails that come from Osano. There are a lot of reminders and informational emails. I feel like those can be limited a little.

We needed a way to easily look through all of our systems and programs so that we could easily disclose a customer's information or possibly delete it. The program allowed us to upload all of the vendors where we keep customer data so that we can look through them when the request is made.

The least helpful part of Osano for us has been the data stores in the Data Discovery section because many of our databases require manual connections, but that is more on us than on them.

Our organization recently started using Osano to organize our data privacy requests. It's very easy to use, and allows us to make sure all of our data removal requests are acted on in a timely manner.

**What do you dislike about Osano?**

No downsides that I can think of! We have only been using the platform for a short period of time. So far, it works as expected.

**What problems is Osano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Osano allows us to effectively manage our user removal requests. Various employees cover different databases, so it's helpful to be able to assign users to different tasks and track that they are all completed.

**What do you like best about Osano?**

Love that Osano works by identifying and blocking scripts in real time. This means no crazy setup in a Tag Manager or in your code to make sure that whatever you categorize a given script of software in your CMP matches your tag or code setup. Saves a lot of hassle and *generally* you have one source for cookie/script categorizations.(Note: it's a double-edged sword... see dislike comments below)

**What do you dislike about Osano?**

Dislike that Osano works by identifying and blocking scripts in real time. Although it makes for an easier setup, it also means we pick up whatever garbage scripts any of our site visitors might be running via their own computers or browser plugins via our "discovered section." It makes it super hard to identify what actually needs to be categorized because it's run from our site, vs. what we can ignore. The tattle feature that warns you when uncategorized scripts or cookies are added that I was *so* excited about (because keeping track of what people choose to load on your website across a 1000+ individual organization is tough) is basically useless.

**What problems is Osano solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Osano ensures any data that we or third-party vendors might collect is always being done with our site visitors consent. It makes sure we're always up-to-date with the ever-changing legal requirements in regions across the world (essential for a business that operates internationally like ours).
