It's mostly easy to use, however the metrics reporting is inaccurate (our sales rep admitted to me that this is the case when I asked why we were seeing discrepancies in the analytics section). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I had a deeply frustrating experience with this company, and I feel compelled to share my concerns. Recently, I was hit with an unauthorized charge for thousands of dollars for a renewal I did not intend to make. In fact, upon purchasing the press release credits our sales rep assured us that no charges would be made to our credit card without prior approval. Their support number leads to a dead line, and the support page is inactive, making it nearly impossible to get help.
What’s almost more concerning is the lack of timely responses to my inquiries. It feels like an unethical practice to charge customers without prior consent, especially when they don't allow you to remove the credit card you have on file. The interface to get a press release submitted for distribution is easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Dishonest and dismissive customer support. They will automatically charge you for a renewal for a value pack of releases and just charge it to whatever payment method you used to purchase in the first place. They will not wait for authorization, they will just do this. Even if it's a several thousand dollar purchase, and they make no apologies for the lack of communication. They will dismissively point you to their terms of service. Everywhere on their website they advertise and market the value pack as just a purchase of a pack of releases at a discounted price. They do not tell you, except buried in the T&Cs, that they will automatically recharge you every year for that pack whether you wanted it to be yearly or not. It is a deeply shady business practice.

Newswire is easy to use, and has pricing for everything from a single press release to many multiple releases throughout the year. They also have domestic as well as international distribution lines. I also like how easy it is to tie into the appropriate demographics, even at the cheapest tier. Customer support is well above average. The editors helped quite a bit with our first PR, and thereafter we had an account manager who made things even more seamless. After implementation, our PRs always garner a level of attention that satisfies our clients. While we pitch Newswire to every appropriate client, we don't use them as frequently as I'd like, and their service inward and outward remains consistently above bar. Maybe once to 4 times a year. My only 'complaint', is that their international distribution pricing seems high, though that may be that I'm not as familiar with the challenges of those markets.
