BetterManager provides a large treasure chest of classes & coaching options to provide the "right support at the right time." I also like that BetterManager doesn't candy-coat feedback and helps the managers get the feedback they need and to work on it. Most importantly, BetterManager treats the person, understanding the business issues that the associate is dealing with in context of the associate's, aspiration, skills sets and whatever else is going on in that person's world. As a first-time manager, my coach helped me understand the mindset of a leader vs. an individual. I learned many of the basic skills, like giving feedback, coaching/mentoring, communication with different personality styles, etc. Now that I have a few years of experience, my coach is providing wisdom and resources around more complex issues like engagement/motivation, managing up, developing my leadership presence, and more.
