What do you like best about NetSuite?

I think NetSuite is a great tool for businesses to use for a multitude of different things. From Inventory Management to Accounts receivable this site allows us to somewhat easily manage and track a variety of statistical information about our company, inventory, and accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I think NetSuite could improve in the User Friend-liness area. There are a lot of different areas available to the consumer in a very tight/compact area which can make it difficult to find certain things when searching for them. Another way I think they could improve is by allowing searches by "containing some" instead of always looking for an exact match, for example, when entering PO items into a Inbound Shipment and searching for the PO, we have to type out "PO#POBER01234" instead of being able to type POBER01234 or just 01234 which would help streamline the process of creating Inbound Shipments. What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have not personally experienced a problem solved solely by NetSuite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NetSuite?

As a Warehouse Supervisor and WMS user, I appreciate that NetSuite provides real-time inventory tracking, order management, and seamless integration with other departments. The ability to scan and allocate inventory makes warehouse operations more efficient, and the system helps maintain accurate stock levels. The customizable dashboards and reporting features also allow us to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

While NetSuite is powerful, the WMS interface can be slow and not always intuitive, especially for warehouse tasks like wave picking, order allocation, and item reallocation. Some manual workarounds are needed to correct errors, and the system does not always commit inventory properly. Additionally, customization options can be complex and require IT support, making simple adjustments more time-consuming than necessary. Improved mobile functionality and a more user-friendly WMS workflow would greatly enhance efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?

NetSuite helps streamline warehouse operations by providing real-time inventory visibility, order tracking, and automation of warehouse tasks. As a Warehouse Supervisor and WMS user, this benefits me in several ways Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NetSuite?

NetSuite is an incredibly powerful ERP system, and one of its biggest strengths is its customizability. The ability to create custom records, workflows, and SuiteScripts allows for deep personalization to fit unique business needs. This flexibility makes it an excellent tool for companies that require tailored solutions beyond out-of-the-box functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

However, NetSuite has its downsides. The interface feels outdated, and navigating through the system can be clunky and unintuitive. Additionally, creating saved searches is more time-consuming than it should be—while they are powerful, the process is tedious, and the UI could use some improvements to make building reports and extracting data more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use NetSuite primarily to track inventory, manage orders, and handle accounting. It provides a centralized system that helps streamline operations and improve visibility across different departments. Having everything in one place reduces manual work and ensures better accuracy in reporting and financials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NetSuite?

The system has so many functions available, the reports are amazing and we have only yet begun to discover all that is out there. When I need assistance, I am able to create a case online and I typically get a response within a day to help me resolve my issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

This system is too expansive for our company, it has been difficult to see all that is out there. We used QuickBooks in the past and that was very user friendly. There is always a learning curve with software changes but this one is especially large. SuiteAnswers is helpful about half of the time and then I need to create a case for online support.

I don't like that there is so much customization in everything and I need assistance as I do not understand "code". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?

NetSuite has made many things faster and easier for our company. Our inventory manager does item fulfilling with our scanner and this allows him to be paperless with recording serial numbers. When these sales orders come back to the office, they are already fulfilled so it is just one click to bill out/invoice. There are functions that I have been using to assist me with keeping current with inventory, such as the "item alerts" with the Item360 Dashboard portlet. I know there are many more things out there that I would enjoy and utilize but I don't have the time to search through everything right now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

(Original )Information
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I like the reporting functions and in NetSuite, the customization for data reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I do not like that there is not an easy way to automaitcally make adjustments on small balances across multiple customers. This may be something in a version my company does not use but I also feel like some functions should be available "out of the box" instead of having to buy the apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?

NetSuite provides solutions to my dunning, billing, and collections requests. NetSuite allows me to communicate with my customers and the payment functions are easy to use. I never got "real" training on the product, I was given a login, shadowed a few people and have had to learn on the fly, not a NetSuite issue, but it reflects the ease of use. The software is fairly intuitive to use and easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NetSuite?

We needed a system that would adapt to our evolving needs. NetSuite's customizations have a been a game - changer. This flexibility has been crucial to our Company. NetSuite provides real-time dashboards and reporting that improves accuracy and speed, allowing us to make more informed decisions. We are able to automate several manual tasks which has freed up our team to focus on more strategic initiatives. Training users can be done with ease, the processes are outlined thoughtfully based on the task at hand. This eliminates errors and confusion for users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

The down sides that we encounter lie within in the advanced inventory management. There is a need within our organization to exlude specific locations or customers settings from reorder point auto-calculate functions. We are very location specific and would like more options available regarding inventory management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?

NetSuite has allowed our company to grow and evolve. We are able to streamline process and ensure that we are staying ahead of the competition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NetSuite?

I've been a user/admin/consultant/system architect for over 16 years. I love the flexibility to make this system your own. It can be small enough for a 50-employee corporation and large enough to handle a 50,000-employee corporation.

Integrate with ease and with redundancy built in; users can learn to navigate in the best way that works for them. When you can't find a system that works for your unique corporate needs, create one with NetSuite. Custom forms, records, segments, etc... This system is nimble and robust all in one! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Finding the right implementation partner is important. I think many times the software gets a bad rep because the implementation team didn't find out enough about the company and just provided a straight out of the box instance of Netsuite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?

Inventory accuracy through automated WMS systems, budgeting and forecasting, revenue recognition management Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about NetSuite?

I love how seamlessly everything flows—from transactions to customer management, all beautifully intertwined. The integration of CRM with accounting and reporting is exceptional. I use it every day, and it has become a pillar of my business. The inventory management system is tightly integrated with accounting, making it easy to process write-offs and implement changes in real time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Implementation was a waste of both time and money for us, and their customer service left much to be desired—especially when you're paying so much for customer service and implementation that turn out to be a waste of money. We ended up having to hire a third party to outsource the implementation process. Additionally, I wish features like Smart Counting were more affordable. These tools should be accessible to customers who pay on time and rely on specific suites for their operations, specially if their customer service lack so much. What do you like best about NetSuite?

It is very convenient that we are able to attach backup to journal entries and invoices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

The one thing that I wish NetSuite had was a summary inquiry that shows the balances for the entire FY like there is in Great Plains. It is so helpful in BS account reconciliations to be able to show the GL balances. Also, when I go to drill down on an entry from the financial statements I have found that sometimes when I'm expecting the JE to pop up a lot of the time my subsidiaries change. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have only referred to our in house trainer, Suiteanswers, and Youtube when I have questions. Referring to times where I've used SuiteAnswers, it seems to be lacking real information that is useful such as how to dispose of an operating lease in the fixed assets module. This is the most recent search I had on Suiteanswers. But everytime I have looked there for a questions that I had I ended up finading alternative sources to assist me in accomplishing my tasks. What do you like best about NetSuite?

NetSuite has the capability to be customized in ways some systems aren't. Once up and running, there is plenty of room to make NetSuite fit your specific needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Having implemented NetSuite at two different companies, the internal implementation leaves much to be desired. Having key team members leave with little to no transition adds delays and leaves room for errors. Many of the functionalities that make NetSuite great require additional expenditure for add on modules, and there is little transparency up front as to what you are actually getting with your initial SOW. There is very little actual training outside of basic customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is NetSuite solving and how is that benefiting you?

NetSuite helps solve some of the control issues inherent in a small business and allows for scalability and International growth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
