What do you like best about nDash?

The project manager I work with, Jenn, is super helpful and always communicates clearly and effectively.

Whenever I accept an assignment, I get a lovely, clear brief to work with which makes my life as a writer immeasurably easier!

I love that I can pitch direct to brands or apply to open assignments if I choose to, but that, also, if my portfolio is a good fit, project managers and clients can reach out to me directly, as I genuinely loathe cold pitching.

Fees are really clear and, because I don't have to market myself and the pay per project is very fair, I'm happy to pay the fee, as it's less time I have to spend chasing cold leads.

I plan on staying with this platform for many years! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about nDash?

I haven't yet encountered any downsides. My only wish is that there were more available assignments - but I'm sure that'll come as the platform continues to grow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about nDash?

nDash understands the value of good writing so writers don't have to undervalue their services. It's specific to writing rather than a menagerie of bargain-basement assignments like other freelance platforms. Writers have access to many different ways to market themselves and receive numerous alerts about new companies and assignments. nDash team members are supportive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about nDash?

Only knowing nDash from the writer's perspective, I wonder sometimes about the differing levels of required commitment on behalf of the member companies. Many companies have complete profiles, style guides, and meaningful guidance on the type of content they seek (this is who I want to write for), while other companies hardly have any background to offer (red flag to me). It takes time for writers to research companies and craft meaningful pitches. Having companies that signed up "just because" and are less engaged and/or serious about creating content means writers need to take extra time to wade past these businesses to find serious prospects or potentially take time to send a pitch to a company that isn't paying attention to the partnership that nDash offers thereby wasting the writers time. What do you like best about nDash?

nDash lets us easily scale inriver’s content production, allowing us to regularly deliver the high-quality, relevant content our demand generation activities need. And unlike having to hire and onboard individual freelancers, nDash gives us access to a steady supply of expert writers who are ready to hit the ground running. Working with nDash has cut my content management and editing time in half, giving me the ability to focus on other high-value tasks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about nDash?

Truly not a dislike ( I don't have any). However, nDash writers and staff are great at ideation — coming up with relevant content ideas that will resonate with our target audiences. I’d love it if we could formally add more ideation time to our schedule to optimize creativity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about nDash?

nDash is a fabulous platform for professional freelance writers and content providers. Unlike content mills that seem to be a race to the bottom, on nDash I'm able to regularly connect with high-quality clients that value high-quality work -- and are willing to pay appropriately.

nDash's team is a joy to work with, and as a writer, I know they understand what I need to be successful. For managed clients, their top-notch editorial team provides clear, concise direction on the project parameters, making sure I have access to all the insights and resources I need and delivering feedback in an easy-to-understand, actionable way. For self-managed clients, the platform makes it easy for clients to set expectations and deliver feedback in a centralized location.

Managing projects (and billing) on the nDash platform is easy and hassle-free. At-a-glance, I can see what projects are coming due, which clients have commented on work-in-progress, and how much I charged for previous projects. I'm able to skip the process of creating and delivering invoices; nDash automates that, which makes me a happy camper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about nDash?

Nothing. I actually connected with the nDash team about a feature I thought would be helpful to add, and they updated the platform to include it -- how's *that* for responsiveness! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about nDash?

Our team of four content marketers use nDash to source freelance writers for all kinds of content — from weekly blog posts to longer-form content like ebooks. From a process management standpoint, the nDash platform has had a huge, positive impact. We know how easy it is for editorial workflow to get out-of-hand with things like email and shared drives. nDash allows us to consolidate all of our communication with writers; we know that anything we need — project communication, content briefs, drafts, etc. — can be found in the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about nDash?

No downsides to this partnership! I'd recommend to other content teams out there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about nDash?

I've been using nDash for almost two years. I appreciate that it's easy to use and secure. I also really like the versatility. As a freelancer, I can pitch work, sell work that is already created, and get work from companies that are already looking for the services I provide. It helps me cut down on the time I spend searching and pitching. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about nDash?

It's mostly great. I occasionally run into issues with word limits in text boxes or attaching samples to my pitches and have to find a workaround. But overall, the software is simple and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about nDash?

I regularly hire 3rd party bloggers and have tried several writing services. I have tried Verblio, Content Dev Pros, The Hoth, and Fiverr. What was disappointing about these services was writing quality and being forced into subscriptions, which is not suitable for our team as our needs continuously fluctuate.

I have worked with about 20 different nDash writers varying in cost from $75-250 over the past year. They have mostly been consistent and easy to work with on revisions. They tend to stay in contact with me and deliver on time.

But mostly, nDash's customer service is on point. I never wait more than a few hours to hear back on a query. The search for writers is a bit fickle-not my favorite-but when I message them for help finding the best writer for a project, they always come back quickly with multiple options. Very much appreciated!

I will continue to work with nDash and recommend them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about nDash?

The search for writers can be annoying. They continue to make improvements however, and as mentioned they are quick to do the search for you when you get stuck. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about nDash?

I can write much of the content that my clients need, but I can’t do it all. nDash has helped support my content production and allowed me to scale my business without the typical growing pains. When I need extra bandwidth or specific topical expertise, I know I can count on nDash to connect me with high-quality writers who can offer value immediately.

The ROI I’ve seen from working with nDash has been outstanding. I’ve significantly reduced the time I need to spend on writing — sometimes up to about 75%. And I appreciate that nDash’s platform gives me a single place to manage freelance assignments, provide feedback, and handle payments. I don’t even have to worry about taxes or other accounting details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about nDash?

The only thing I might suggest would be a rating system where clients could rate freelancers; this would help identify writers who may be a good fit for my needs more quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I started working with nDash in 2017 and have worked with them consistently since then. I like the variety of clients and projects and how easy it is to use the platform.
