It is slightly complex for users who are new to it and tutorials are not very helpful. It takes an exisitng user to assist a new one before they can utilise the software on their own. We view our relationship with MRI as a partnership. The level of customer service provided to us has been exceptional. We aren't necessarily an easy client either; we make sure our opinions are known, especially when enhancements could be made to make the product better. Our voice is alwasy heard and we feel valued.

I feel the documentation associated with implementation is lacking. We ended up generating our own documents because very few were provided.
When integrating with software that does not have a partnership with MRI, the connection can be challenging. It takes a lot of work.

Implementions, sometimes lacks follow-up, and there is a grand ammount of reports and changes, that inmidiatelly goes into the customization team with extra cost, when there are minor changes, that once you see the solution it should fall into the support team. In my position, I use three MRI modules consistently, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Commercial Management. In the GL module, I find running reports easier than the built look-up features. I do like the recurring entries feature and use that for more than a dozen monthly entires. In AP, the ability to integrate with Avid xChange is crucial to our processes and works well (on the MRI side). And for CM, the functionality in terms of leasing is extensive. I also use the desktop version to complete data uploads. Setting up new properties involves multiple steps and modules, but is not inherently difficult. I do not have Yardi experience, but I would be interested in seeing the differences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The canned reports are not compatible to tables in Excel, so they cannot be used easily for pivots or lookups. The queries are better for this. The GL look-up feature is awful, I run GL reports vs trying to use it. For AP, the search features are also weird. I should be able to search for a paid invoice, but you cannot. You have to search by vendor once invoices have been paid. The functionality of CM is still a mystery to me and my team. We are digging more into, but we have found multiple errors include FASB calculations. MRI support is varied at best.
