I could not find anything because I couldn't use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The security of Motion or my company security did not allow for me to download this software. There is no live person to help you when you run into these issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how Motion re-arranges my schedule automatically when something unexpected comes up and I cannot work on the task that was planned. I also love how it keeps my goals on track and my projects moving along. I work ~375 hours a month between two businesses I own and 3 volunteer organizations I am a part of. Keeping up with work, volunteer, and personal life tasks has become a challenge and I have been consistently dropping the ball. I have found that with Motion, I am dropping that ball less and staying much more focused on what needs to be done, rather than TRYING TO FIGURE OUT what needs to be done. I had been using ClickUp (free version) and Calendly (paid version) and so Motion was a tad bit more expensive than Calendly. However, for the amount of time I have already saved in only a couple of weeks of using Motion, it has already paid for itself for this annual plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a few things in Motion that I wish it had. For instance, we are limited to certain Frequencies and Durations rather than it being 100% flexible. Recurring Tasks cannot by assigned to a Project. It would also be great to Duplicate tasks rather than creating from scratch. Organizing Workspaces alphabetically or by manual reordering would also be great. Zapier from my Google Mail to Motion does not work (I contacted Zapier to request this) but it would help me a ton if I could turn all of my incoming emails into a Motion Task so that I don't have to input them manually. Perhaps they could go to a Sorting area so I can assign a Workspace, Project, Priority, Deadline, Recurrence, etc. Workspace-wide templates would also be great so I don't have to recreate the same template in each of my workspaces. The auto-scheduling is my favorite feature. After I carefully tend my tasks, I go to my calendar to see what I should do next, and Motion tells me. Not much thought is required on what to do to achieve my large and small goals together. Requires less thought to get more done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's pricey. Even with the annual subscription, which I have, I feel that the cost is high compared to its competitors who don't have the auto-scheduling feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Syncs with Google Calendar and provides basic project management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Generally pretty underwhelming as far as "productivity" benefits go and very very pricey for what it is. They just have really good marketing. The worst part I would say is the pretty much non-existent customer service, so if you have any problems (even with billing) good luck getting a hold of anyone. I had a billing issue and no one got back to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fundamental ideas about Motion are good. When it works, it feels great. Specifically, being able to toss all my tasks & priorities into a bucket, and have a planned list for accomplishing them in a sane order, is a great feeling. The booking links are convenient as well, and the team features have potential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The product has been highly buggy for years. They removed functionality - e.g. it used to be fast to navigate around the calendar with keyboard shortcuts - removed for some reason with no replacement. It's very expensive for what it is, support is slow to respond and is unhelpful, and it feels like the product barely improves over time.
In addition, extremely basic features have been missing for ages - e.g. multi selecting todos for bulk actions. Want to add 10 tasks to a project? Open each one individually, hit the dropdown, hit the project - 10 times. Delete 10 tasks? Same thing. This is table stakes for a todo app, let alone a team todo app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I appreciate most about Motion is the combination of its user-friendly interface and its extensive feature set. This software truly streamlines my daily tasks and significantly enhances my overall workflow.
The user-friendly interface provides an intuitive and straightforward experience. Navigating through the calendar, scheduling events, and managing appointments has never been easier. Motion's thoughtful design and layout make it a breeze to access the information I need promptly, reducing any unnecessary time spent on administrative tasks.
Moreover, Motion's robust feature set is a game-changer for me. It offers a wide range of tools that cater to various aspects of my calendar management. From scheduling recurring meetings to color-coding events for better organization, Motion covers all the bases. The ability to attach files, set reminders, and share calendars seamlessly with colleagues adds an extra layer of functionality that I find invaluable.
In sum, Motion not only simplifies my work but also adds an element of enjoyment to my daily routine. Its user-friendly design and comprehensive features have transformed the way I manage my schedule, making it an essential tool for my professional life. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When it comes to Motion Calendar, what I find less favorable is the limited customization options for event reminders. It would be great to have more flexibility in setting up reminders according to my specific needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As Someone with ADHD who struggles to stay focused and organized found great joy in discovering the Motion app. This invaluable tool has become a lifeline, allowing me to effectively manage projects, priorities, and schedules while accommodating my ADHD brain.
The application empowers myself to effortlessly create projects and divide them into manageable tasks. These tasks can be conveniently scheduled on my calendars, along with the added functionality of setting reminders, deadlines, and notifications for better project management. Moreover, Motion also offers valuable features like task duration estimation and the capability to allocate dedicated time for focusing on significant projects.
I have seen a huge improvement in my productivity since using Motion. I don’t feel scattered trying to juggle multiple tasks. The structure and organization that Motion provides helps me focus my energy on getting things done rather than trying to remember to do them.
I would recommend Motion to others who struggle with ADHD symptoms like procrastination, forgetfulness and disorganization. It has been a complete game changer in managing my daily tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of Motion’s main drawbacks is that I can’t see all my projects and tasks in one master calendar or timeline. I can only see the actions at the individual county level. There’s no bird’s-eye view where I can visualize my workflow across multiple projects to identify conflicts, bandwidth issues, or limited resources.
I can’t check all of my workload or upcoming commitments. There is no reporting tool to summarize the deadlines or hours required for jobs in different boards.
While the app is still imperfect, it promises to see developers get back to work quickly. Regular updates show a commitment to grow Motion and make it more useful over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Motion actually helps me be reasonable with my time. Before Motion, I was just go-go-go. Now, I realise how much I am putting on my plate, and how unreasonable I'm being. Motion helps be prioritise my tasks and keep me on track. I use it everyday, open in a screen next to my working screen to keep me focused. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes, I with there was some more flexibility in the layout, but this is minor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It helps me understand my time better and assists in prioritization. I like the warning feature that lets me know if something won't meet a target deadline so I can rearrange or let others know we need to push a deadline.
The project feature is great, along with the ability to trigger tasks based on the completion of others. I would love it if that could be integrated with recurring tasks as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Motion doesn't hold completed tasks on the calendar, so I can't go back and see how I spent my time after the fact. If I don't keep it updated, it obviously can't prioritize correctly, but updating becomes a task unto itself.
It took some time to get clear on how Motion prioritizes tasks- sometimes I disagree with the assessment, so to get my calendar to match my priorities, I have to tinker with the settings on my tasks until they fit my desired priority ranking
The app is the biggest obstacle- it takes a long time to sync, and calendars frequently drop from it entirely, so I don't have visibility to my meetings when I'm trying to make plans away from my desktop. It also only keeps info updated for two weeks, and I need visibility well beyond a 2-week timeframe at my fingertips. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I struggle greatly with procrastination and starting tasks and Motion has been instrumental in my academic and professional successes. Motion has taken the stress away from planning my daily workflow and it has helped me avoid many instances of execution paralysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could make tasks under a project recurring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
