Monday is very simple and easy to use. you can easily build your own custom task tracking/ backlog planning/ bug tracking and project management needed dashboard.
For us in BrightwayVision it made a real difference having a One-stop Shop for all our needs with easy and adoption by all team members across the board. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
program planning templates are a bit bulky and hard to change and less intuitive than the backlog and bug tracking ones we use. improving them and simplifying the usage to be more familiar but still simple as in MSP will be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that everything from the roadmap to the sprint to the bug tracker is all in one screen. The one thing I dislike about JIRA (which I have been using for the last 5 years) is the fact that I have to go to Confluence for Retrospectives and the new Jira Product Discovery to create my roadmaps. The UX is better than Jira as well. It offers me multiple options (Kanban/Sprints/Chart/Gantt/Table) to choose from in one single screen. The color coding of each task type, priority and other things is something I really like but this might be overwhelming and confusing for other product/project managers. The planned/unplanned indicator is what I really need as well. One of the challenges that I face with my team is when I create a ticket that is not yet ready to be worked on (because it requires further grooming) is frequently picked up by them. I have to personally inform them each time of its readiness status which I don't particularly enjoy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing in particular is completely dislike about monday dev (I can assume how this might be icky for other people as well) is the fact that the Task ID is a big 10 digit number. Jira takes the edge on this one with issue IDs that are searchable from every screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A big reason why I like Monday.com is its simplicity. The interfaces are intuitive and easy to use. It does not require that you undergo lengthy training before using it. I don't have much experience in Project management, but monday.com has made it very easy to manage complex projects. It only takes me to post the project, break it down into sub-activities, assign and set a deadline for each. What could be easier?
It is cost-effective since it doesn't require developers to manage it or constantly redesign the user interface; anyone with a basic understanding can do it on Monday.com.
The third thing I like about monday.com is the collaboration environment. Look, don't get me wrong, I find it hard to manage emails per project, but monday.com has made it easy to interact. I can easily comment on any sub-activity, task, or project to follow up without getting lost, unlike in the long trail of emails. Thank you monday.com Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
our organization is currently looking for a better way to manage the budget for the projects. I found a way to automate the calculation(Budget vs actuals) on monday.com but the currency is in dollars. I wish we could have options for more currency. I am currently in South Africa
I also wish Monday, com could intergrate MS PROJECT Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user-friendly interface of Monday Dev makes project monitoring and planning very simple. Our team may customize the boards and workflows of the platform to meet our unique requirements. Collaboration is facilitated by integration with GitHub and Slack, and the automation capabilities let us save a ton of time on tedious work. Furthermore, the analytics and reporting tools enable us continuously improve our procedures and offer insightful information about the status of our project. Considering how many functions Monday Dev offers, even if it is a very functional tool, it can occasionally feel overwhelming. There could be a significant learning curve for new users. Furthermore, the price may be a bit steep for startups or smaller teams. Finally, even though integrations are strong, additional native integrations with other well-known development tools would be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Monday Dev is intuitive, highly flexible, and great for team collaboration. Its intelligent automation and seamless GitHub and Jira integrations streamline workflows for a smoother project management experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some features have a learning curve, especially for complex workflows, and advanced tools are locked behind premium plans, which may not suit smaller teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Another area Monday Dev shines is in its intuitive design, which facilitates departmental collaboration by making it usable by both technical and non-technical users. Every team member may have a clear understanding of the project statuses and data that are most important to them thanks to the flexibility to set up and configure dashboards. In addition, Monday Dev provides comprehensive reporting capabilities that shed light on project success and support teams in making data-driven choices. Updates are instantly reflected throughout the team thanks to the support for real-time collaboration, which improves response times and communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A few users of Monday The mobile app, Dev, might not provide the same degree of functionality or user experience as the desktop version, which could make it more difficult to manage tasks while on the road. Efficiency may be impacted by the platform's occasional performance latency while processing huge datasets or intricate automations. Last but not least, although customer service is usually helpful, response times can differ, which may irritate people who require urgent aid with urgent problems. I have used Monday Dev for managing my clients for work but it seems like not very comfortable to use like Jira or Trello. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Costs, Complexity and so many annoying checks make things so difficult Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing i like about monday dev is it shows us the progress of the project and also helps us in the team alignmnet. Here in monday dev its helps us to enhance productivity, to set our clear goals, etc. Here we can manage real time updates, and track the tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The least helpful about monday dev is sometimes it makes us challenging the initial stage. The interface can be difficult to initialize. There should be some changes or features required to gain the training. It is very costly for premium features Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform's remarkable customization possibilities and user-friendly interface enabled me to easily adapt to meet my requirements. Productivity is greatly increased when communication tools and real-time updates are seamlessly integrated to guarantee effective collaboration and keep everyone informed. very adaptable boards to meet unique workflow requirements.

Learning every feature and doing the first setup can take some time.
Can be costly for advanced features, for small teams or startups.
needs an internet connection in order to function properly.
Should have introduced an offline setup too. Soo that users with no internet can also use Monday dev Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
