I like the price point for value. The shared inboxes work well and there's good comment and collaberation features for internal comments on emails. It has a clean design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish it had reporting. I'd also like the ability to default search just my inboxes rather than defaulting to searching all inboxes. Depending on the plan there's a limit to message history you can search or view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As the developer on the team, what I appreciate most about Missive is its seamless integration capabilities. The platform offers a wide range of existing integrations that are incredibly easy to connect, making it accessible not only for developers but also for non-technical users who may have little to no programming knowledge. Setting up these integrations is smooth and hassle-free, allowing anyone to enhance their workflow effortlessly. Additionally, the ability to create custom integrations provides even greater flexibility, enabling developers to tailor the platform to specific needs and optimize productivity. One aspect I dislike about Missive is the bug that occurs when connecting my custom integration using Ngrok. Before deploying my work to production, it's crucial for me to test my integration using Ngrok as the URL. This step is essential in ensuring that everything functions correctly before making it live. However, due to this issue, I am unable to test locally with Ngrok, which adds an extra layer of complexity to my workflow. While I have managed to work around this by deploying the integration directly to the server for testing, it would be a significant improvement if this bug were fixed. Other than this, I have no major complaints, as Missive overall provides an excellent experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One thing I really love about Missive is how easy it makes team collaboration. With its shared inbox, everyone can stay on the same page—whether it’s managing emails, assigning tasks, or chatting in real-time. I especially appreciate the ability to leave comments on emails without creating long, messy threads. It keeps conversations organized and makes teamwork feel effortless. I have not experienced any dowsides yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Missive has been the email client I've been looking for! As a previous corporate email user, I've loved the calendar + email features of Outlook specifically. At the same time, Outlook can be a pain to use. I've been through all sorts of email clients as I've moved from the corporate world to running my own agency, trying to find the silver bullet (everything from Superhuman to browser-based email). For me, Missive is that silver bullet. The calendar features are fantastic, and the email is loaded with everything I need. Working to ramp up my team on Missive as well and can't wait to use the collaboration features as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
On the mobile app, it takes a few taps to get to my calendar (versus something like the Outlook app that has a button for my calendar as soon as I land on the app without needing to scroll through the hamburger menu).
As you can tell even from that though, any qualms I have are minor and nitpicky. Overall, nothing major sticks out as a drawback here. It's a really powerful email app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Storage of the data
Useful Search function (but still requires improvement)
Possibility to integrate different emails and setup managing + apps
Availability of cc and bcc in emails
Managing of notifications
More or less easy in use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not easily managed channels
For example, I would like to automate assignments and chat closings so I don't need to do it manually all the time. Not sure about the implementation
Search is good, but when I need to find something specific in the long-lasting chat, it's impossible since it just finds the chat, not the actual message. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Missive has become an essential part of my toolkit. Its ability to manage multiple accounts under one roof and eliminate the need for new device setups saves so much time. The features like central management of email signatures, email scheduling, and a to-do styled inbox have organized my workflow like never before. Collaboration features are just the icing on the cake, making it easy to work alongside my team within emails and chats. Missive is the ultimate tool for any professional seeking efficiency and streamlined communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have a lot of mails to filter through. That can get slow sometimes, but I think I am an edgecase... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As an accounting firm, we deal with 20+ various client accounting email inboxes to manage on a daily basis. Our bookkeepers need support from their seniors to respond to various emails and that would not be possible without Missive's email collaboration ability. Missive makes managing these inboxes manageable and enjoyable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
On occasion I have felt frustrated with the interface as it hasn't felt intuitive, especially coming in fresh as the new admin for the organization I had a hard time knowing the difference between accounts vs teams vs users, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to IM / tag colleagues in messages is a massive plus, along with sharing external files as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest issue I have with Missive is the fact that emails routinely close and are therefore missed when a reply comes in.
I have also had legitimate emails come in that were immediately marked as Junk/spam and effected client relationships as they were not appropriately responded to.
As the BDM, there are too many features that I do not need to take advantage of and my emails are cluttered. Furthermore, depending on restarts/updates, preferences will turn on & off and notifications will go from pertinent to company wide, which is very frustrating Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are many features I really value when using Missive. Some of my favourites are:
1. The ability to tag colleagues under an email and being able to have a conversation underneath each email, as well as being able to work on a draft collaboratively with others.
2. The ability to add and assign tasks under each email, which helps me to stay on track of any actions I need to complete.
3. The ability to snooze emails, that way you can keep your inbox clear and have the specific item you need reappear at the top of your inbox when your need them to.
Overall, I find that it's a very easy tool to use and customise and, when me or my colleague have had any issues, we have always received a prompt reply from the customer support team. Honestly 10/10, would recomment to everyone looking to improve their email management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I genuinely cannot think of any downsides to using Missive! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Having the ability to chat about an email chain between your team, while not actually sending emails. I can also assign tasks easily and it integrates with many other productivity tools. The rules and filtering system is great, and their support has never let us down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can sometimes be a bit overwhelming with all the features. It's the type of deal where it's a bit harder to get into, but the payoff is worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like being able to copy messages links and use them in chats for referencing a convesation. It saves a ton of time not having to describe an email and eliminates the need to FW the email for sharing.
I also like the option to write comments and chat with the team on every email.
It organized our inboxes very well in one spot and it helped with not missing any emails as they come in to the different mailboxes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Most of what didn't flow for us we were able to change in the settings or I already adjusted the way I do things to make Missive work for us. Missive works great for us! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
