The BC on prem environment I worked in didn't have the Universal Printer extension installed so we had to install the printers on the BC server in order for them show up in Printer Management. Getting the documents (packing slips, pick tickets, BOLs, export documentation, etc) to print automatically doesn't usually work as planned. Even after selecting the correct printer in Printer Selections, there were times where the user had to print the documents manually. We upgraded from Dynamics Nav 2009 and I feel it had quicker response time as compared to Business Central (18).
