Melio has been an incredible financial solution for me and my company. It has made managing my financial transactions so much easier, with quick and secure payments and receipts. Additionally, the integration with my e-commerce and accounting platforms has been a huge help, saving me time and effort. What do you like best about Melio?

Melio simplifies the process of collecting payment details from employees or contractors and enables quick, hassle-free payments—provided you're on a paid monthly plan. While these services were once free, Melio has introduced costly monthly subscription options, making it less accessible for smaller businesses. It's worth noting that Melio already profits from the float on your transactions but now charges an additional monthly fee for the same convenience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Melio?

Nearly all of Melio's features are now locked behind an expensive paywall. For years, my company relied on Melio to seamlessly process payments for our 1099 contractors, with no issues. The platform previously earned revenue from the float—the interest accrued between debiting funds from our account and crediting them to contractors. However, Melio now requires a costly monthly subscription for most services, leaving only single payment processing available without a fee. Melio provides a streamlined way to manage contractor payments by collecting payment details and processing transactions electronically. This eliminates the need for paper checks and manual tracking, saving time and reducing errors. However, while the service is convenient, the introduction of expensive monthly fees has diminished its overall value, especially for small businesses that previously relied on its free features. What do you like best about Melio?

Their pricing is very competitive. I have also had great experiences with their customer service. I like that it syncs automatically with QBO and that the payments also sync back. I also like that it has an app you can use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Melio?

It is great to have a chat option but I have had some experiences where my issue couldn't be resolved immediately. That being said, the issues were eventually resolved. I also think there is room for improvement when bills are revised. The current process is difficult and confusing especially when approval processes are in place. We started using Melio when it was integrated with QBO. I think the QBO communication was confusing, but people should know Melio is still an option and is more affordable than the QBO option. What do you like best about Melio?

We have been using melio since beta testing. I will say that we have experience with a lot of other systems that offer the same type of system some have different features. but we always come back to Melio as our preferred system. The ease of use is the best part, along with their support you can not beat how responsive and helpful they are. Using Melio eliminates tracking down payments, seeing if they have been cashed, and stopping payment - the system handles all of these pieces for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Melio?

The only downside is the processing time. we have had clients complain about the check turnaround being 5-7 days but most other services have the same setup. it would also be awesome if they starting beefing up their approval process to give us more option to utilize with clients, it is not a must but would be a great addition to the product. What do you like best about Melio?

When I first used Melio for a payment, I felt good about it because they were quick to confirm everything. As a new business owner, I wasn’t sure if it was the best option, so I tried another company, but that didn’t work out. Melio’s customer service ended up being way better. What do you like best about Melio?

The look and feel of the software, the cleanness, the smooth integration with QBO. It really cuts down on the time it takes to pay people. Getting it set up is a bit time consuming like any other payment processing platform, but still easy to do. Customer support is always there really quick, though getting an answer during a conversation tends to take a lot of time due to language barriers, the issue is always resolved pretty quickly though! What do you dislike about Melio?

You can't change the mapping of the payment processing fee going to QBO (you used to be able to!) and that's really frustrating. The system has also been really slow lately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The time it takes to cut checks is being decreased a lot and the integration with QBO ensures all my payables are present when I go to pay and are immediately marked paid in QBO. Saves a ton of time in my day to day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Melio?

I love being able to see wehre my receiveables are in the process of being deposited into my account. I also really appreciate that I can take CC payments and ACH without having to ask clients for personal information.

What do you like best about Melio?

What do you dislike about Melio?

We had several invoices fraudulently created over several weeks totally tens of thousands of dollars. We pointed these out several times to Melio requesting that they look into how these invoices were created. Perhaps one of our users was hacked. One would think that a company like Melio that deals with users bank accounts and credit cards would show some interest if a customer claims they were hacked - but we received zero interest from Melio in providing any customer support on this issue whatsoever. What do you like best about Melio?

Melio has been a go-to resource for credit card, travel and expense management support. The comprehensive solution has helped track job expenses, manage individual travel expenses, and improve our company financial record keeping for job related travel. We found that the melio dashboard was integratable with our accounting software. We also found that there was a information share capability that allowed us to import our expense data from our accounting into melio. Since we adopted melio we have been able to keep track of travel and job expenses without paying more for accounting services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
