I work primarily in medent and I find the system to be very user friendly compaired to other systems I've previously used. It is customizable and intuative for each department and user preference. Medent is continually updating,improving, and building areas within it's system. Practice suggestions for improvements are taken seriously and implimented with the consideration of regulations and requirements from multiple states. We've had some amazing colaberation between our IT security and Medent to resolve issues when transitioning from a server connection to a cloud connection, firewalls blocking nessessary programs, and many other hiccups that arise. It would be nice to have a practice ticketing system and a known problems and issues page when troubleshooting for a large orginization. Interface builds take some time to build and integrate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is a lot of clicking to return to the main menu. It would be helpful to have a menu at the top that you can access the main menu quickly and perhap even email, triages, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their reporting features are excellent! Their reporting features are very user friendly and you can literally filter by anything you can think of! The system is very user friendly for out patient practice. Staff pick it up very quickly!

When you call support, even if you are returning a call from someone you can never get past the operator. Tech support doesnt have direct phone numbers or extensions. It can be frustrating when returning a call and then being told that the person that just tried to reach you would need to call you back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am a gastroenterologist in practice in the Finger Lakes since 1990. I began using Medent EMR in the mid-1990's and have been using this system continuously now for more than twenty-five years. I have been on staff at multiple hospitals in the area and have become quite familiar with other EMR systems and still rate Medent the best. It is easy to learn and has a user friendly interface which saves time and energy during a busy day. Old records are at your finger tips and communicating with other physicians takes but a keystroke. Diagnostic coding, superbills, triages, labs, xrays and emails are well integrated into the architecture of the program. Medent support is superb and the system is regularly updated. Needless to say I am thoroughly satisfied with this product and highly recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

User access to the MEDENT manual is extremely helpful for do-it-yourself users who sometimes work around the clock. While MEDENT support is generally quite responsive, their online manual provides immediate customer support at any hour. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MEDENT lacks the capability to fax documentation from both Practice Management and EMR in the same transmission. This frequently causes us extra steps while communicating with insurance companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
