What do you like best about ManageEngine Applications Manager?

Applications Manager supports many different kinds of monitors like Servers, Network Services, Application Servers, Cloud environments, ERP softwares, virtual environments, containers etc. It has over 100 + monitoring types which has many different performance metrics with each of their app type. Additionally, it has very useful integration capabilities serves well for health and availability monitoring. Even if its usage may take times from person to persone, it has very easiness and usefulness inside. And finally, it can adapt every environment with the support of standalone or distributed type of monitoring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ManageEngine Applications Manager?

Applications manager supports many different types of monitors but with this abilitiy, covering what kind of apps to be monitored and how to monitor it can be tricky. As I specified before, each app has own performance metrics and trying to understand the tools in kitchen and using it can be tiresome. So, the technicians should exactly know what to monitor with how to do it. Additionally, the feature request list can be alive faster than normal because in these days, many different technologies, platforms and as well as applications are being derived fast and it's hard to catch up these speeds. So, it should be more agile when it comes different points of monitoring concepts. And finally, the widgets can be more variable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ManageEngine Applications Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?

Mostly the website monitoring are being the top priority and Applications Manager handles this very easily with different monitor types like RUM (Real User Monitoring), EUM (End User Monitoring), Synthetic Transactional Monitoring, APM Insight, Database etc. So, these crucial monitor types are very helpful. Additionally, it can display the problematic monitors with root cause analysis and allow technicians using "Anomaly Templates" which spots anomalies based on upper and lower limits as checking old data. These can help to spot issues fast and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
