What do you like best about Maintenance Care?

Our previous software was very complicated and very expensive. My team use Maintenance Care constantly thoughout the day, it was very easy to integrate and e have used Maintenance Care for serveral year. Not only is it easy to use but it is very reasonably priced. We were looking for software to handle multiple daily requests within different departments (plumbling, housekeeping, IT, etc.). It was very easy to set up and impliment and there was always someone available for assistance if needed. For requesters, no logging in is required and it is a very simple process to place a request. We were able to make changes to the fiels required as we went along and needed for information from requesters. Based on the information entered by the requester, the request is automatically assigned to a specific technician For managers and administrators, it is simple to work with the request as needed (move it to pending, delayed, closed, etc.). Setting up scheduled tasks is easy and saves a lot of time. The abilty to track parts and assets is very helpful as everything is now in one place. The mobile app works very well and enables everyone to stay on top of things when away from their desk. Ongoing customer support once the software was up and running contiued to be excellent with someone always available to assist. Overall we are very happy with Maintenance Care. What do you dislike about Maintenance Care?

The only thing that doesn't work as I wish it would is that once a request has been entered, the body of it cannot be changed. In some instances we have users who enter a requst for an event set up and as it gets closer fo the event date, they need to make changes to the original request. Although notes can be added, it would be preferable to have those changes noted in the main part of the request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Maintenance Care solving and how is that benefiting you?

Maintenance Care enables us to track consistent issues that are not being fully resolved, along with assets and parts meaning we can find the information we need in a timely manner. Also, because it automatically assigns request to a technician, it is not dependent on someone monitoring new requests and having to manually assign them so that something requiring immediated assistance gets handled as fast as possible. There was a defintely decrease in the number of calls I was getting prior to Maintenance Care as users are confident that their request will be handled in a timely manner and do not feel the need to reach on in person. What do you like best about Maintenance Care?

This is a follow up to a previous review some time ago. We're still loving MaintenanceCare and all the things our version of the system provides. Since our last review, we have upgraded to the Enterprise Edition. We especially love the addition of scheduling preventative maintenance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maintenance Care?

Some form fields have limited characters and the report titles are a little overwhelming and confusing but nothing you can't learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Maintenance Care solving and how is that benefiting you?

While we primarily use data collected via reports to share select KPI's with the organization, we are thrilled to be using the software for preventative maintenance scheduling and reminders. I really would like a notification system put in place so my team can sty up to date with work orders placed. Right now we have to have to systems in place one for work orders and one for emergencies.

I can have my team look at maintenance care and I dont have to micro manage them.

Before Maintenance Care, our Facilities Team did their best but, it was still a hit-or-miss approach, particularly because people would stop them in the middle of their work to inform them of maintenance requests. Maintenance Care is easy to use for all users: those who report issues, those who assign and manage tasks, and those who complete reactive or planned tasks. The mobile APP gives live updates across all users. You can add as many users as you need without additional costs. The support is personable and knowledgeable from sales, set up, training, and ongoing use. The software incorporates regular updates that truly offer improvements.
