It is highly intuitive, vastly customizable without requiring you to make customizations. You can be as complex as you're comfortable with, or as your organization requires you to be.

It has a tonne of features by default and we get support for anything we think would be good to add. It keeps everything together in one location; nothing gets forgotten in a sub-folder, or spends a week sitting in an in-tray anymore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm often working with it just on a fairly small laptop screen. Often the menus are taking up 1/2 the screen, and they can't be rearranged, resized, minimized, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Would love to be able to tag people in tickets who want to track the progress and/or have a vested interest inthe outcome; I believe right now only the person who submitted the ticket receives updates. We went with MaintainX because, of all the CMMS we looked at, it was the easier to use for our not-so-computer-savvy techs. Been using it for over two years now and we're not dissapointed.

The ease of use for our technicians has been above all the best thing about MaintainX. The mobile platform is easy, fast, and reliable. Cost was great for our organization as we were looking to reduce our annual costs on a CMMS platform. We use MaintainX daily at multiple sites within our company. Purchase order suite is missing some features. You cannot tag a PO to a work order. Meaning you have to add other costs to a work order. This is a double step and a waste of time.
Floating PMs should be standard right now MaintainX has to be implemented per asset. This is costly and should be able to be completed by us, the end user. The team is working on this and should have it live in October of 2024.
Tagging multiple assets to 1 PM. The PM planning is a little clunky but it works. You have to create a reoccurring work order per asset instead of a reoccurring PM and tagging all assets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Enterprise Version is game changing. this is so easy to use Mobile app is so convenient especially when printing QR codes to identify equipment. The user interface is so easy. Works well on both the computer and cell phone app. Setup was really easy and the initiation team support was very helpful. The software has the ability to make graphs and dashboards very easily. The photo/document upload is super easy. We wish that it would notify work order requesters with comments on the status of the work order. It only sends an email with "completed" once done and does not show the comments on the work order to the person who entered it. Unless that person signs into Maintainx as a general user and clicks on the work order they never see what was done. Not sure why it couldn't just send an email back that included the comments since it already sends a "completed" email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MaintainX has made managing maintenance across our organization a breeze. The cross-functionality within the different modules (assets, locations, parts inventory, work orders, etc) that allows for information to be found and gathered through different channels, depending on the limited information that may be available. Keeping all equipment information and schedules in one, easily accessible location also makes for a more efficient and effective maintenance team, allowing us to get more done in a single business day. While MaintainX is a valuable tool in my organization, there are some features which I would like to see changed. First, unit of measurement capabilities for parts (gallons, cups, feet, pounds, etc) for use with preventative maintenance shop orders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
How easy it is to use and train others to use. We use it daily and I like the ease of implementation on work orders, pm's and inventory, as well as issueing PO's and tracking all of the above. The History and documentation makes it easy to go back and see how freaquently parts are being used, and how often repairs are being done to individual pieces of equipment to help minimize downtime. Really the only thing I have a problem with is after you send a PO# to the vendor, you cannot edit the PO# and resend it of you made a mistake with the number itself. For example, if you type 1 number wrong and issue it, it can't be edited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. This basic application is ideal for one task jobs per location.
2. The asset section is great. Drag & Drop feature is dynamic.
3. Dashboard can be a good resource to overview work to be completed and outstanding.

1. Each job should be completed in a timely manner yet if the jobs are not completed, the mechanics cannot remember what happened too many days later. Alters should be placed on the mobile app to identify, completed before moving onto another work order.
2. I would like to apply multiple assests to track follow up with per job reference. Due to our industry, our refrigeration system is a closed system with multiple parts applied in multiple areas. In order to identify the correct asset to the job, most likey multiple assests are applied per job. It would be ideal to be able to apply multiple assests for tracking purposes.
