What do you like best about LT Browser?

UI is the best part. Most of us have been using google chrome for debugging and are accustomed to it. What makes LT Browser work like a charm for me is the ability to debug on 2 mobile view ports, at the same time. The device sync helps me build responsive websites & compare it across a variety of mobile screens, 2 times faster. Built-in Performance report is also there to help us optimize the performance based on diagnostics. Network throttling over multiple devices in a side by side view is too a nifty shortcut. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LT Browser?

No option to download the performance report.

Native app testing and geolocation testing are missing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LT Browser solving and how is that benefiting you?

I need to check the responsiveness of our web app on all mobile devices screens. And I think it does a good job at it. Additionally the hot reloading and instant debugging features help me get done with the job very fast. Features like side by side devices with sync scroll and ability to get the separate network throttling report are something we always wanted. Overall it helped us improve the productivity of our web development efforts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LT Browser?

You can check the responsiveness of the website almost instantly on multiple screen sizes, side by side. Though they have the latest mobile devices’ screens, I like the option of custom resolutions as it allows me to add any device resolution apart from what they offer by default. Ability to share the google lighthouse report is also a good add on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LT Browser?

2 screen comparison is good but, would really like it if they could add more devices in the comparison grid.

It updates automatically, I like to do it at my convenience.

Would be better if we could add a custom profile for network throttling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LT Browser solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is able to take care of all our responsive testing needs. Especially its ability to test and debug websites locally is quite useful to our web designers. Hot reloading allows us to see the changes instantly, so it cuts the extra step of verification. Saves a lot of time. Also a full page screenshot and a video recorder makes it easier to mark the bugs and share it using integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LT Browser?

LT Browser is my daily responsive testing tool. As a developer I find this tool super useful in understanding the bugs at the initial stage of development. I could code and run my local path on this tool and easily test the website under development. Also the option of side by side view of different devices you select and edit with live view are one of the productive features i feel. Overall, a handy tool for devs and testers with smart UI and easy to use features. You can start testing in a whisk! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LT Browser?

I have asked the support team to implement browser feature, where we could select browsers and test our website on browser + device combination. This will be an important addition to its existing featureset. Although the UI is clean and sharp, it needs a grid with more devices rather than just two. We are also working on our app improvisation, so going forward if LT Browser can introduce sdk or apk files testing, it would be great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering LT Browser:

I found this most useful tool to scale up the responsive testing process. There is no much learning curve required to get started with this tool. Easy to use and gets you results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LT Browser solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are a finance(trading) company and our webapp is functional on mobile devices too. In fact, we have less app downloads and more web usage. Using LT browser we could fix the issues beforehand and make sure that they aren’t damaging the customer experience. There are so many devices out there that it’s practically impossible to test on every device. With the LT browser we could just select the device and run the URL, that’s it! Offers a great comparison view and helps the team save time on repetitive testing tasks. We could observe faster output from the team members, as the app does not involve any learning curve. What problems is LT Browser solving and how is that benefiting you?

LT browser is one such tool that my team looks forward to performing responsive testing. Considering the broad audience we cater as an ecommerce platform, we need to stay ahead of the game and find bugs before our users bounce due to UI bugs. LT browser has been an ease of experience for the team to perform testing on latest mobile devices. We could start testing our web pages on local environments by simply adding the URL. Also, provides two device comparison views with mirroring actions. However, the feature that made a difference for us was the developer tools where we could make changes and see them reflecting on the go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

>Supports inbuilt development tool

>Great User Interface and easy visualization using device comparison view

>You get 35+ devices to choose from

>Mobile touch feature helps you test website based on user experience Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LT Browser?

Comparison with just two devices can be a repetitive task. you have to select and deselect the devices again and again, a better option to create a large grid which can compare more devices together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LT Browser solving and how is that benefiting you?

LT browser has helped us visualize websites on the latest devices, and this has been an exciting feature to showcase to our clients. We could screengrab the latest devices within no time and can easily share it with our clients. The interface is straightforward to get going with responsive testing. Any bugs we discover can be shared across the team using JIRA which saves us a lot of time and avoids manual work. We could also perform local testing without even installing any extensions, a beneficial and essential feature.

Thanks LT browser Team! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

-Integration with project management tools like JIRA, makes bug tracking easier.

What do you dislike about LT Browser?

-There is no option to select browsers to test on.

-Would be good to see geo testing feature in this tool

- Only two device view is allowed, better to keep it customisable comparison grid Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LT Browser solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a developer I can say LT browser is the perfect tool to help you write clean code and get to a point where the website would be responsive. One of the key reasons for this is the ability to test your website locally without having to install any extension. Just type in the localhost URL and you can view the website. This feature has been very helpful for me to write better code and also to the test team.

As UI is concerned it's very neat and offers a good device comparison view with mirroring function. This makes your comparison process smooth. Additional points to the inbuilt debugging, where errors can be changed and validated on the go. Also, the for the user friendly aspect as the tool is extremely easy to get started with! What do you like best about LT Browser?

Primarily it’s UI is self explanatory and nice, switching devices is very easy with a good comparison view. Inbuilt dev tools can be really helpful as you can make changes on the go.

However you can also take screenshots or video recordings and share it across with the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LT Browser?

Right now we can only see two devices side by side. Would be great if we can add multiple devices side by side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LT Browser solving and how is that benefiting you?

LT Browser helps in making this responsive testing process faster.. It’s fairly easy to start using and you get the hang of it pretty fast. So not much of a learning curve involved and anyone from the team can start performing responsive testing from day one. The app allows us to check multiple devices side by side and comes with a feature to integrate with Asana. This integration helps us to share bugs with the respective team directly from LT Browser. What do you like best about LT Browser?

You get to choose from 25+ devices or create your own custom device.

Integration with JIRA (because we use it) and there are many more options

Extra points to seamless local testing, all you need is localhost URL. That’s it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LT Browser?

Two devices alongside definitely saves time. But I felt an option to personalise and offer more than 2 device views would have been even better! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LT Browser solving and how is that benefiting you?

There are numerous tools that can let us perform responsive testing. However, LT browser puts more on the table with the ability to share bugs on a variety of project management tools. We use it with JIRA and it has saved us a lot of time and effort involved in bug logging. Plus, the inbuilt developer tools have helped us debug on the fly. Being a web developer, I personally know how tedious a testing process can be considering the breadth of devices we have to deal with. But to be honest, LT browser has enabled the team be more productive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LT Browser?

We compared numerous responsive testing tools, however, the efficient scroll sync in LT browser was a clear winner for us. The mirrored interactions allowed us to compare our website in a side by side view over numerous devices. The feature has been a time saver for us. Kudos to LambdaTest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LT Browser?

As of now the LT browser allows side by side comparison of 2 devices in a single view. It would be better if we could get more devices in one tab. However, since it is a browser you can still open multiple tabs and compare 2 different devices in each tab so it’s not that big of a blocker for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering LT Browser:

From our end, we highly recommend LT Browser, it works faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LT Browser solving and how is that benefiting you?

Using the Scroll sync feature, I am now able to sync two different devices by the movement on the primary device. I would not have to go back and forth on my devices anymore! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about LT Browser?

LT Browser has simplified responsive testing for us. Being a small team, we do not own all mobile & iPad devices to test the website on and, this problem has been taken care of by LT Browser.

All the devices that I need are packaged into a simple downloadable software to perform cross-device testing easily. The feature that we love most is bug recording & sharing one. Our testers create the video when they find a bug and share that with our developers directly from the dashboard that helps them to recreate and debug the same. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LT Browser?

There should be more minutes in free plan

I can test only on 2 devices in a single comparison view Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering LT Browser:

From my side, it is highly recommended, as it has made my life easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is LT Browser solving and how is that benefiting you?

Using LT Browser, I test my local web pages across different devices before sending them to the prod. It helps me a lot in finding bugs in my code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
