What do you like best about Loopio?

I appreciate Loopio for its ability to streamline the process of responding to RFP questions, making it much easier and more consistent. The intuitive nature and ease of use of the platform are significant benefits for me, as they enable me to navigate tasks smoothly without unnecessary complexity. I also find great value in Loopio's capability to maintain a library of information as a source of truth. This feature is particularly useful because it allows me to easily access detailed information about solution features without needing to consult others. I find it incredibly efficient to have this repository as a reliable reference point within Loopio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined RFP Management with Room for AI Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Loopio?

I like Loopio's completion ratings, especially the percentage of completions, as it provides a graphical and visual layout that makes it easy to track how much work is complete on various projects. This feature is particularly useful for assigning work to team members and keeping track of progress. The AI suggestions in Loopio have significantly improved, making my work quicker and more efficient by allowing me to review and edit content rather than starting from scratch. I also appreciate the concept of a library within Loopio, which, although requiring a substantial amount of data to become a highly useful resource, adds significant value. The transition from using an Excel document to Loopio marked a substantial improvement, as Loopio offers a more streamlined and efficient experience, enhancing ease of use and accessibility for the tasks I need to complete. The ease of initial setup further supports a seamless user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

I still think the AI side, whilst being better, could use improvement. It would be beneficial to have areas where I can input training or context material to enhance its effectiveness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlines Responses with AI Power"
4/5
What do you like best about Loopio?

I appreciate Loopio's ability to create reusable technical responses to technical requirements and product/service questions, which significantly streamlines our processes. Its speed in responding, adaptability for non-technical users to find answers for short turnaround requests, and process management using assignments and due dates are all highly valued features. I am impressed by Loopio’s commitment to continuous improvement, as evidenced by the regular implementation of new features and the exciting addition of AI functionalities, with more improvements planned on the roadmap. I find the generative AI particularly beneficial; it assists technical users lacking strong writing skills to craft responses that are cogent and easily understandable by non-technical reviewers, enhancing overall communication. Having switched from RFPIO, I favor Loopio due to its superior governance structure and feature set that better suits our organizational needs. The implementation process was notably straightforward, largely facilitated by the Loopio team, who efficiently assisted with migrating our existing content. What do you dislike about Loopio?

The Parent Question and Sub Question functionality in Loopio could use some improvement. There are often issues when using this functionality in Word, where it may create duplicate entries, especially if it is nested in a table. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Making Proposal Processes Straightforward and Efficient While Continuously Improving Loopio's Tools"
5/5
What do you like best about Loopio?

When I started in this business many years ago, we did everything by email. That seems crazy now. Loopio saves so much time and effort. It makes the process so clear and simple, from loading and RFP to making SME assignments, interacting with SMEs' questions, editing responses, getting proposal reviewed, and exporting. Then at the end, saving the most useful, reusable responses so Loopio can pull from our library at the front end of the proposal process, eliminating much repetitious rewriting. They're also continually updating the platform and taking our customer feedback into account for future designs and improvements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

We have a lot of portal RFPs with complex, embedded tables. Although they now have a portal export tool, it's not yet sophisticated enough for most of our portal needs. But that's in the longer-term plans for Loopio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Love the library search and content centralization"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Loopio?

We use Loopio to centralize our vast amount of boilerplate for proposals, and I'm considering adding a library stack for my team. I used Loopio for the first time to look up approved writeups when responding to some questions for a partner. I can tell I'm just scratching the surface, but so far, it was easy to search for and find the writeups I needed, plus it provided multiple options for me to choose from.

I appreciate that you can add fields into writeups that automatically display the current number of clients or other data points. Having that centralized and organized is so good. It's a central point of truth.

I like that entries are dated and have owners so you know who to go to if you have a question or need to check approval status.

No more massive folder structure housing disparate documents. You can put it all in Loopio.

I also like that you can search specific stacks if, say, you want to look for content in your own stack and not be overwhelmed by response options in other stacks. It's flexible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

I've not used the system enough to have run into downsides. We're fortunate to have a Loopio champion who manages the content, gets rid of duplicates, etc. I did have a little trouble finding a couple of specific writeups I was looking for, but I believe that's a matter of keywording and is something we can improve on our end, as far as searchability. "Loopio: Streamlining RFPs with AI and Collaboration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Loopio?

I really like Loopio's integration with AI, which enhances the platform by automating tailored responses for each question based on our existing library information. This makes it incredibly convenient and efficient to use, as it saves a lot of time and ensures that responses are customized and relevant. The tool's easy-to-use nature and collaborative capabilities significantly enhance our ability to work together efficiently. Additionally, Loopio serves multiple purposes beyond just RFP management; we are now using it for cataloging and crafting presentations. This versatility makes Loopio an invaluable resource. Its functionality extends to allowing our SMEs to have more time for other tasks while enabling them to point the system towards specific sections of our library for detailed, topic-specific responses, contributing to more thorough and comprehensive answers than they might typically produce. This efficiency and the super collaborative aspect of Loopio make it a standout tool for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

I would love to be able to upload larger PowerPoint files. We handle extremely large PowerPoint documents, often with about 100 slides per PowerPoint. The current storage limits restrict our use significantly in this area. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Data Management with Room for AI Upgrades"
5/5
What do you like best about Loopio?

I appreciate Loopio's search functionality, as it makes it incredibly easy to locate content and pull relevant language efficiently. The simplicity and effectiveness of the search capabilities streamline my workflow by providing quick access to necessary materials without any hassle. Additionally, the initial setup of Loopio was very straightforward and efficient, as it only required one day for both downloading and training. This made the onboarding process seamless and hassle-free for me. I also like how effectively it manages data, which contributes to better overall data management in my proposal content repository. This combination of features significantly enhances my productivity and ease of use, making Loopio an indispensable tool in my work routine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

I don't like the proposal building functionality. It could be more intuitive and have more AI functionality. Additionally, it would be nice if Loopio were a plug-in with Google Drive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlines Collaboration, Needs Flexibility"
3/5
What do you like best about Loopio?

I really appreciate Loopio's organization and collaboration features. The structured platform is not only user-friendly but also allows me to seamlessly add team members so everyone can collaborate effectively on various questions within a project. This has significantly smoothed the process of bid response formation compared to our previous use of shared Google Docs, which was cumbersome and inefficient. Loopio provides an internet-based platform that facilitates ease in commenting, making changes, and enhances overall teamwork without the hassles associated with traditional document sharing. Additionally, I like the structured formatting it provides, which enhances the project workflow by assigning tasks and allowing comments, significantly improving our team's efficiency. Learning Loopio was very straightforward when I first logged in, even though I wasn't part of its initial setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

I wish I could pool together assignments more freely without being forced to assign questions in a specific order. This constraint means that one assignee has to wait for another to sign off before they can proceed, which disrupts the workflow. Additionally, I find it limiting that only admins can search the library from a project. It would be helpful if collaborators could also search the library or if we could grant specific people access to do so without making them admins. Moreover, I am not a huge fan of the AI incorporation; it doesn't work well for me, though I appreciate the platform's organization and collaboration features. "Enhances Collaboration, Needs Improved Automation for content writing"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Loopio?

I like how Loopio facilitates collaboration within my projects. The ability to assign owners and add comments directly in the platform significantly enhances team communication and coordination when working on tenders for clients. I also find the searchable online library of content especially beneficial, as it allows me to locate relevant information to create responses. Additionally, I appreciate that the initial setup of Loopio was easy, and despite the steep learning curve, the learning modules provided are incredibly helpful in getting familiar with the tool. This combination of features makes using Loopio a streamlined experience for project creation and organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

I find the AI magic for creating initial drafts less effective, leaving room for improvement. Additionally, Loopio lacks functionality when it comes to setting timescales and scheduled reminders, which is inconvenient for managing project timelines efficiently. "Efficient RFP Management with Intuitive Interface"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Loopio?

I love using Loopio for our RFPs and sales content as it serves as our source of truth, providing reliable and accurate SME-reviewed responses. The user interface of Loopio is excellent, offering an intuitive organizational structure with stacks, categories, and subcategories that makes navigating our content straightforward. I appreciate the effectiveness of the recent updates, especially the inclusion of AI response generation. I find the user permissions feature incredibly valuable, allowing us to customize the Loopio experience for various teams across our organization since our database is shared among several teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loopio?

I would love to see more enhancements to the Slack integration, including the ability to comment within threads. Currently, the lack of this feature limits our ability to manage discussions effectively within Slack. Additionally, I wish that the AI response feature was available within the library, as it would streamline our workflow significantly. Moreover, I think improvements to the "teams" function and the ability to assign teams to library reviews would greatly benefit our organizational processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
